Have to veto the bolded line. Jotaro knows he's got daddy issues, but he also sincerely (mistakenly) believes that he's sufficiently expressive enough that literally anyone who isn't intentionally being an idiot can read what he's thinking/feeling on his face..

That's actually the point. Jotaro is saying 'I'm shamefully bad at not showing my emotions blatantly all the time.' Everybody else is going to hear 'I can't show emotions for shit.'

And neither side will realize that they've completely missed what the other is thinking.

It seemed the sort of comedy appropriate for a R+V and JoJo cross.

Ah. I didn't get it the first time.

Now that you've explained the joke, I can actually see the humor in it.

Veto rescinded, write-in accepted in full.

Also, recall that we're less than a month out from the quest's anniversary, so if anyone has any questions they'd like to field for the Totally Superfluous Fourth Annual Q&A Special, now wouldn't be a bad time to start thinking of them.
Well, I still have a bunch of the old ones that got excluded because the last one wasn't OOC.
Joseph, do you regret not being able to see Caesar again, even if it would only have been through The Memory Remains?

Kuyo of the Student Protection Committee, you were responsible for the first and to date only 「Bad End」 in this quest. In response to this, the questers made sure to discover a way to use Hamon to counter your powers so it would not happen again. What is your take on these events?

Kaworu Nagisa/Tabris. Kenshiro. Atsuko Natsume/Nuku Nuku. You three were the other main character options for this crossover quest, how do you think you would've gotten along with the Rosario cast? What do you think of the way Jotaro has handled things so far?

Rosario cast, what are your thoughts on the other people you could've gotten instead of Jotaro?

Youkai Academy Art Teacher Hitomi Ishigami, Swim Club Captain Tamao Ichinose, Wrestling Club Captain Chopper Rikiishi, what have you been up to since Jotaro Kujo 「RETIRED」 you? What happened to the art classes and to the Swimming and Wrestling clubs?

Gin, so far you're the only person who's had his own Gaiden updates without earning an Achievement/Trophy for it. Do you have any plans on how to rectify this grievous oversight the next time you get the spotlight?

Also, have you given any thoughts on joining the Stardust Crusaders when they inevitably go after DIO? At a glance your Stand with its power to 「redirect sunlight in space according to your will」 seems like the perfect counter to vampires created by the Stone Mask, but you've mentioned it lacks finesse. Is this something you could overcome or is the only option either lunar eclipses or poorly aimed doomlasers from the sky?
Some new ones:
  • Youkai Academy Principal: the main cast has been involved in quite a number of shenanigans, do you have any thoughts on everything that's been going on? Any thoughts on the things going on in the background
  • Holly Joestar: what are your thoughts on becoming a grandmother in the future?
  • Joseph Jostar: what are your thoughts on becoming a great-grandfather in the future?
  • Sadao Kujo: will you ever be relevant enough to actually appear in the quest?
  • Gin: we usually see you when you're interacting with the main cast, but what's a normal day like for you? When you're not peeping on girls, that is?

This has been answered.

The clubs are surviving under new management, and Art Class got rolled together with Music and some others to create a catch-all Fine Arts class, taught by Professor Mikazuki Mizuo.
Gin, so far you're the only person who's had his own Gaiden updates without earning an Achievement/Trophy for it. Do you have any plans on how to rectify this grievous oversight the next time you get the spotlight?

So have these, if indirectly. Short version is basically "I don't care about trophies or awards, and Kujo can go fuck himself."

I can also defer questions that are too spoilery, but I do generally keep a note of them.

"I don't care about trophies or awards, and Kujo can go fuck himself."

Aw come on Gin, what did Jotaro ever do to you? He just wanted to play "punching bag", it's part of his nature. If you're so mad about it, just hit him back. Aren't you formerly known as the "Rabid Dog"?

Now, does SP still has it's crazy reaction time of catching a bullet point blank and automatically defend Jotro? Can we still get things like Star Finger? One thing I'm worried about is that the Snow Priestess arc will happen after the return from Egypt, and if it does, Jotaro might get overconfident after defeating DIO.

Now, I don't think Alucard's clone needs a Stand, he's already pretty much indestructible right? Maybe in the Siren fight we can go with Gin to kick Fairy Tale Sector 7's ass instead of having the Karate Club captain come and assist Gin.

Also, here is an awesome strategy I though of when fighting other people:
  1. Have Mizore make ice spears for us, as well as pack a few bullets.
  2. Stop time (Suta Purachina: Za Warudo!)
  3. Throw a spear at your opponent while grabbing another.
  4. Move around while firing the bullets.
  5. Stop at a different location and throw the other spear.
  6. Time resumes and the enemy is bombarded from at least two directions with fast-moving projectiles.
Now, with 5 seconds we won't be able to do all that, but it will be enough to surprise our opponent and for us to try to close the distance and do a Hamon attack.

I approve.

Jotaro beat the shit out of Gin. Which wouldn't be that big of a deal by itself; Youkai Academy is in many ways a dog-eat-dog school after all. The issue here is that Gin had already been beaten and humiliated by his underclassmen in the Newspaper Club -- he admitted his defeat, and then Jotaro still beat the shit out of him anyway. Which -- given that Gin is Gin, most not-Gin people would probably say he had it coming anyway, but Gin of course disagrees.

He just wanted to play "punching bag", it's part of his nature. If you're so mad about it, just hit him back.
He already got a front-row seat to Zombie Chick handing Jotaro an all-but-literal curbstomp, so for the most part his grudge has been satisfied. That said, he still holds quite a low opinion of Jotaro -- about the only person Gin would ever voluntarily join forces with Jotaro against is Kuyo, or possibly Alucard/Fairy Tale by virtue of "I'm not working with him, we're just coincidentally separately fighting the same faction".

But if Jotaro has a blood feud? That's a Kujo/Joestar problem, not a Gin problem.

Star Finger's already going to be addressed in the Q&A special.

I assume you're working with a sentiment like "I intend to piss on DIO's grave by stealing his fighting style", or similar?

Anyway, as far as the annual Q&A goes. I said earlier that I may defer certain questions if they're too spoilery, and that goes double if it's a question just as easily (or better) answered in the proper narrative at a later date.

So if anyone has a question doesn't make it into the special, don't flip out: I still have a private note of it, and it will be addressed at a later date when circumstances permit.

Sounds more like, "I intend to troll DIO by stealing his schtick and using it against him"...

Naw, I was thinking more of the Pucci fight (pre-MNH) where Jotaro stops time and throws the Speedwagon Spear. I was thinking of what if he had multiple ice spears and bullets to fire at the speed of gunfire, because Jotaro post Stardust Crusaders rarely uses Za Warudo, and even them it's mostly used for dodging.

Plus, for those that forgot Part 1, metal conducts Hamon, so we can also conduct Hamon into a bullet then use Star Platinum to fire the Hamon bullet at an enemy Ayashi.

That reminds me, since Alucard is basically indestructible, how does Hamon affect him?

metal conducts Hamon
Conducts, yes. Keep, no. Unless the practitioner keeps touching the metal, there's no Harmon in it. Just like metal and electricity - a cable doesn't hold a charge after it's been disconnected from its power source.

But maybe a kind of harpoon or something, that was still connected to him via a chain or rope after he's shot/thrown it...

But in general there's nothing wrong with using Dio's tricks against other opponents. Not sure how viable just that specific method of using ice spears/etc would be - that's for the QM to decide - but finding "new" and inventive ways to abuse our powers is definitely something to be encouraged.

Wood, liveing things, Certain oils and water are the things that conduct Hamon the best.

Steel by itself will lose a charge pretty much instantly. The clacker volley only works because of the Wool string connecting them.
If we want to use a projectile with hamon it needs something on the list above.

Hm... living things you say? I always thought that after Stardust Crusaders we should keep Hamon training, so I had the suggestion that we carry on ourselves a bottle of water at all times, so that we can use both for our Hamon and for Mizore's ice.

Now here's a crazy idea, how about we take a few strings of hair, conduct Hamon threw them and throw them at an enemy Ayashi? That could world right? While it wouldn't work in time stop, since Stands and Hamon can't be used together in Jotaro's case, about 15-20 Hamon needles made of Jotaro's hair would be scary enough for a monster that isn't fast enough to dodge it.

Now here another thing I thought about. Both DIO and Fairy Tale want to rule over humanity with an iron fist and a pool of blood. What if DIO decides to team up with them until he thinks they're of no use to him? Not gonna happen, but you could definitely see Fairy Tale searching DIO in order to recruit him, but he's too busy in Egypt stroking his Jonathan body. After all, Jonathan was a titan of a man, and DIO felt more natural and comfortable in Jonathan's body than his own. Just look at how he behaved in part 3 (and in the part 6 flashbacks) in comparison to part 1.

So a Hamon taser, then?
Alternatively, a Hamon laser pistol, which could be accomplished fairly easily.

First, you get a Red Stone (there were others besides the 'Super Aja', after all, even if they weren't as potent) to serve as the gain medium[1], which you then place inside a tube with some lenses (and maybe certain gases; this is where you make Speedwagon R&D's decade by giving them clearance to research magical sunlight laser guns, assuming they don't have any projects like that already) to focus the beam of energy from the Red Stone.

Then, you add a pistol grip with a metal cylinder threaded into it at a perpendicular angle, with a wire wrapped around its midsection (inside the grip itself) which then extends up into the tube and touches the back of the Red Stone. This creates a channel that Hamon Users can use to feed energy into it through the hand holding the weapon, thus making the wielder do double duty as the pump source[2].

Now, it's not entirely clear whether the resultant beam of energy would actually conduct Hamon into its target, but it would at least be something worth investigating - especially considering that the bodily component that reacts most readily to the heat of a laser is blood, along with other bodily fluids, which we already have proof are quite capable of conducting Hamon.

And even if it just produces a high-intensity laser, then you can just stick a high-powered flashlight at the back of the barrel and now you have a laser rifle that can be run off of a lithium camera battery. That's a hell of a consolation prize.

[1] The bit of the laser pistol that the energy source applies its energy to in order to make lasers happen.

[2] The bit of the laser that provides energy to the gain medium, so that lasers can happen.

Well thought out and actually might be useful?

Against Mask! Vampires and mask! Zombies it be hilarious overkill as UV flashlights can accomplish the same.

However seeing as Hamon screws over Monsters ( or at least Monster Energy) it could prove to be a powerful weapon against them and seeing as the speedwagon foundation has taken over as humanity defender and ambassador to the moonlit world it's certainly something they'd want.

However the Red stones of appropriate size would be prohibitively expensive.

It'd have to be at least 20 carats in size comparing it to rubies it would range from 6,000 at the low end to 300,000 at the conservative estimate. And that's just Rubies and not something super special like the Redstones which would drive the price to millions at minimum.

Even the speedwagon foundation would blanch at that kind of money on equipment in the field. Especially equipment that could be destroyed quite easily.

Why? Sure, the Super Aja could apparently rupture the Earth's crust, but a thumbnail-sized Red Stone would probably be more than enough for most situations - and there's no reason the gun couldn't have multiple Red Stones rigged up in some sort of array if all else fails.

Seriously, I have no idea where you're pulling the 20-karat size requirement from.

Also, it would probably be worthwhile to see if Red Stones can be made artificially, which could bring down prices astronomically.

It didn't it only pierced the thin crust above the magma. Then caused it to blow.

You'd need a large crystal to act as a focusing array. I'd say roughly the size of the super asia ( or at least the same size as the red stone Kars demonstrates to esidsi )which I'm estimating at around the 20 mark. A smaller stone would result in an even thinner beam and less then useful delivery of energy. Sure it can be smaller but it's still going to be a larger gem then most you can get ahold of. Not to mention the rareity of the red stone, it's unique property's, natural cut ( they all seem to be the same shape) clarity and other features would make it a stupid expensive rock even if all they needed was a 3 caret stone.

That's always an option but makeing gems of that size isn't cheap. But that's far more viable
