And with that much of a lead and no real discussion or debate as far as one dialogue vs another, I'm probably going to go ahead and lock it.

-[x] "But I do worry that I honestly don't know how to properly do it. I don't know how a good father is supposed to act, what they are supposed to say or do. So as much as I love you, I know I won't be perfect."
[X]...I'll be honest Mizore, I do love you, and you have no idea how grateful I am that your giving me this extra time to get my shit together, but...I just don't know how to BE a father. My mother raised me all by herself, and once I hit my teens, I was taking care of her just as much as she was taking care of me. I don't have any father figures to base myself off of, I don't know what a father should do for his sons, and definitely not any daughters. I want to be happy with you, for the rest of my life, but I'm not sure if I'll ever manage to even be a decent father, let alone a great one like one our kids should have.
[X] *inhale, exhale* "Mizore, I love you and I want to do right by you"
-[X] "Fatherhood scares me since I don't know how a good father is supposed to act, it makes me afraid to let you down"
-[X] "Having that in mind, I am willing to go as fast or as slow as you feel like"

-[x] "We've got an ass-ton of other problems that keep cropping up at school, but I'm going to be trying to learn some shit about how to raise a kid. By the time you graduate, I plan to know enough not to screw up too bad."
-[x] "This is important, and this school is pretty messed up. It'll be safer for you and our kids to wait until I've either beat the stupid out of this place or we're leaving."
[x] Mizore POV: Even as situation became more oppresing, I'm waiting. And I keep waiting, even as his brows furrowed into concentration, and his face turned into 'stone-faced delinquent ready to demolish your face and your house and your parents and your little dog, too'. He's not angry, that's just the how Kujo-Senpai looked like thinking things overly hard. Which is good, because Kujo-Senpai actually thinking and considering his answer.

STANDO POWA! Awaken my masters!

Sorry, I just love those quotes sometimes. However, for me no To Be Continued card is complete without "Roundabout" in the background. It's an excellent prog-rock song and is by far the best Jojo ending.

Okay, after reading most of Rosario + Vampire Season 2 (at chapter 57 right now), I've gotta say: someone told me before that post-DIO Jotaro will be one of the strongest in the setting. I'm calling BULLSHIT! After reading most of Season 2, I can't see him doing shit against people like Kahlua and Aqua, much less the upper level vampires. I don't think even DIO can do shit against any adult of the Shuzen family, and he has The World to stop time!

Speaking of which, Jotaro learn the Yojutsu? Can the Yojutsu even be used in conjuncture with Hamon or Star Platinum? If the answer to both is yes, then we will need to learn it to become stronger, otherwise Jotaro is completely outclassed and must rely on time stop at all times just to fight, or he would end up dead in every boss fight, except for the siren fight, since San is doing most of the fighting.

Yes theryve got the whole space time chop thing but keep in mind the only thing that can harm stands is other stands and you can only see stands if you yourself are a stand user. And considering a population of 7 billion Humans can create at most a few hundred stand users at most I don't think most of the season 2 villains will get Stands.

Moreover you've completely underestimated the speed and power Of SP. a single punch from it can shatter Boulders as hard as diamonds and it can catch bullets after they've been fired an inch away from Jotaro's head. In terms of speed and power SP is more than a match for even the biggest heavyweights even without the ability to stop time. Hell it can phase thouge their bodies and punch their internal organs directly!

Not to mention post DIO jotaro can stop time for 5 seconds allowing him 5 seconds of uninterrupted Ora Ora Ora which is more than enough to take down anyone not a kaiju

Also Hamon is the biggest middle finger to monster energy imaginable. Geting hit with enough of it will drop any vampire.

Honestly even part 1 JOJO is competitive Jonathan for example could probably toss around most vampires like nothing and a clean hit from his Hamon would be a clean kill. Seriously dude's stronger than a guy who lifted and destroyed a hundred tons of stone with a single finger and has a counter to all monsters.

Let us also not forget this maxim: Power does not matter if you can't hit with it. And to hit with it you must first be capable of USING it.

I mean, let's say someone has a sword that has the property "literally nothing in existence can block it." Jotaro's the kind of guy to bypass that by grabbing, not the sword, but the wielder's wrist, on the logic of "you can't hurt me if you can't swing your sword." Only reason he never did that in canon JoJo is probably the fact that the only sword wielder he fought (to my admittedly limited knowledge) was Silver Chariot, which is one of the few Stands explicitly shown to be on par with Splat in speed. And, of course, there is also the frequently-mentioned time stop, which allows him to bypass any speed advantages opponents may have over him by giving him several seconds to do things to them in which they can't even react, let alone retaliate.

Point is: You are thoroughly underestimating both Star Platinum and the ingenuity of JoJo.

One thing I thought of in dealing with the vampires would be carrying a bottle of water at all time on us, and when we fight someone like Kahlua and Aqua, we stop time, spill the water on the one we're fighting against (since Jotaro is smart enough to memorize the weaknesses of the monsters) and when time resumes, Aqua/Kahlua will get wet and will not understand how. Remember, if Aqua is attacking she can't faze through dimensions and she can't faze through dimensions if she's frozen in time. Then we can use Hamon and by just touching her (if we can), she will suffer a lot, considering how good water conducts Hamon.

Yeah, I know that despite how well Star Platinum can see with its eyes (probably well enough to follow the speed of the vampires, after all remember how precise its eyes are? It caught The Lovers for god's sake right before it entered his fucking ear!), or how fast it can hit, if the opponent is faster, Jotaro is fucked (just look at that fucking gay priest who killed him!). This is why, despite Jotaro holding back his punches [remember, when he was blood lusted, he broke through DIO's fucking skull like it was butter and made Swiss Cheese out of that bastard with the doughnut punches he gave him, and DIO is a fucking vampire with regeneration using the body of a fucking human titan! (sorry, big fan of Jonathan Joestar)] and start ripping our opponents in half, King Crimson style. Or we can just Ora Ora like usual while adding some Hamon and hope our foes decide not to fuck with us again.

The OP clearly stated that it's impossible to use both the a stand and Hamon at the same time it's one or the other so no Time stop Hamon beatdowns.

Also liveing flesh conducts Hamon far better then water so it's not really nessasary to increase the power of the Hamon. Really if a Hamon user can deliver a full powered clean hit then it's lights out for most vampires. However the big name vampire could use their monster energy to protect themselves from the Hamon using it a lot like a force sheild . This will burn up a shit ton of their energy but allow them to survive. So dial it back to a full powered clean hit and the Vampire does not have time to prepare for the strike.

That's part 6 Jotaro. Ie a Jotaro who's a ton weaker ( hell SP's durability was E for fucks sake) and said priest also shut down his stop time ability, and he was at the same time forced to protect his worthless daughter ( whom I consider an embarrassment to the joestar line) and dealing with the environmental hazards of the world on fast forward.Literally the worst case scenario . Hell he only died because he protected her and puchi even calls out that Jotaro scared him but because he was protecting her he was too weak to stop him.

I know we can't use SP and Hamon at the same time. My idea was to spill water on the vampire while time is frozen and move out of their line of sight (my idea is behind) and when time resumes they can't react fast enough and get wet, weakening them and giving us an opening to strike with an overdrive ORA. I think we should use this against Aqua for several reasons:
  1. Her name means "water", so beating her with water and Hamon is completely ironic, because she'll be to shocked and wet that it will lower her reaction and fazing time, allowing us to score a good hit.
  2. SHE IS THE FUCKING STRONG! So if we manage to defeat her, it can help a lot.
Now part 6 Jotaro is older and weaker, but Star Platinum: The World isn't any weaker or slower physically, the only stats that were lowered were durability and potential growth. Also, Jotaro would have died earlier in the fight against Made In Heaven if it wasn't for his "worthless daughter" and her friends, one of which used his/her stand to transfer a fatal wound from Jotaro's throat to his/her hand, saving his life.
Yes, Jotaro lost because his greatest weakness was Jolyne. Yes, that bastard priest crippled his time stop ability, but it was made pretty clear to me that Jotaro could have killed Pucci, but decided to save Jolyne, and that's why he died.
Yes, there were also so many factors to calculate, so I don't look down on Jotaro, but it was clear that MIH was so fast that it could have killed him whenever it wanted.

The same goes for vampires. Yes, Star Platinum is insanely fast and could keep with the vampire, but when it's active, Jotaro has a normal human's durability, despite the fact that only stands hurt other stands. Even without a stand, most of Fairy Tale's leader are fucking OP and are really dangerous, even for post-DIO Jotaro.

For example, if Jotaro doesn't deduce Raika's pattern quickly enough, he could die very quickly to the electrical attacks unless he stops time to evade. Now stopping time also costs a lot of stamina, so even if Hamon can negate the heart damage, Jotaro will still get tired really fast.

Question for Q&A: JoJo, how much do you know about your great-great Grandfather, and have you ever heard of the Sunlight Yellow Overdrive?

Update 156 - Issues VIII
"...my father never really played a major part in my life," you begin. Mizore was already focused on you, but she still visibly perks up in response to what you just said. And why wouldn't she? The sore subject that is your father hasn't ever come up in discussion. You've never spoken of him, and you strongly doubt that Holly ever told Mizore about him either.

Being that Mizore is your girlfriend, it's only natural that her interest would be piqued even further than it had already been.

"As I went into elementary school, my father got more and more wrapped up in his music career, and mom basically took up raising me by herself."

Mizore becomes quiet for a moment. "...ever since then?"

"Yeah. I'd never even spoken with the old man," referring to your grandfather, "until I after I started attending school here. Much less met him until this summer."

It goes without saying that even that's more contact with a supposed 'male role model' than you've had from your father in the last... decade, basically.

Mizore glances down at the floor, her expression turning solemn. "I can't imagine what that's like, growing up with only one parent."

You heave a bitter sigh, and.... this isn't about him, or his absence, it's about you and Mizore.

"I always thought it should've been pretty obvious, but if you want me to say it, then I will."

But even so, how are you supposed to do that? You're just a guy who's ill at ease, and is most comfortable in a fight. How are you supposed to narrow down and clarify what's already patently obvious?

"I want... I want to make you happy," you tell her. "And if that means having a family, then I'm okay with that. But I also want to do right by you, because..."

You haven't spoken this string of words to anyone since you were a little kid. Not since you started to get an idea of how important they are, of the gravity they carry. Words so heavy, that if they carried physical weight you don't even know if Star Platinum would be strong enough to shift it.
She's always had attractive features, but all of a sudden there's something... more, in play.
Mizore turns to face you slightly, the rest of her body still turned slightly away. "Because...?"
She's more beautiful now, somehow, even though nothing about her has changed.
And yet now, you must say those words anyway! Not only that you must, but you want to. And when you open your mouth, they come surprisingly easily to you, and there's a distant part of you that's confounded by the idea that it should ever have been difficult at all.

"Because I love you."

There's a brief pause, as it takes a moment for Mizore to cross the barrier from 'hearing' what you said to 'registering' it.

Her eyes widen, and tears start welling up and cascading down her cheeks. For a moment you're paralyzed, wondering if you somehow fucked up, before she steps forward and buries her face in your chest, clinging to you with all her not-inconsiderable strength.

"Jotaro!"

Is this good?! Bad?! You're not sure, you don't have any experience with this kind of crap!

"I waited so long for you to say those words to me, and it finally happened...!"

Okay, there's that question answered at least.

Before you can even move to say or do anything else, Mizore jumps and...!

....

Her lips are cold.... but not as much as you might have thought. Whether she's doing that consciously, or if you're sensing the feelings behind them, you're not sure.

But you are sure that they're soft, and you can almost taste a mint-like in her breath. It's inexplicably fresh.

You don't know how to apply a qualitative assessment beyond merely stating the facts, because there is something special about what's going that simply fails description. But you're pretty sure you like it.
Everywhere in the universe, for what a subjective observer would call two seconds, time stopped.
It seems somehow to go on forever, and you're reluctant to acknowledge that it will end. But you know that this golden moment frozen in time will always be in your memory.
And then time resumed its usual flow.
Mizore, held securely in your arms, breaks away to wipe the tears from her eyes. "I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have rushed you like that but-"

You feel like holding her close -- and conveniently, it shuts up her needless blubbering too. "You don't have to apologize for that. And... there's something else I need to say."

If you have to honestly voice your feelings, then...

"I'm afraid," you admit. "I want to do what's right for you and the kids we'll have someday, but I don't know what to do. I don't have any kind of a basis for what a good father should be, and I'm afraid of fucking it up."

Mizore pulls back enough to make eye contact, and even as she's still crying, she smiles. "You've.... we've got time," she tells you softly. "And you don't have to be perfect. As long as you care, that's all I need."

___________

You wake up feeling refreshed. "Hell of an end to a hell of a day," you mutter.

*tak*

...someone just threw a pebble at your window. Getting up to investigate, you look out and see a third-year female student. She looks a little familiar, but you can't place where you've met her before...

She bends down to reach for another pebble, but her arm spasms before she can properly throw it, and it drops back to the ground.

Zombie Chick, then. The one who whipped your ass yesterday at the Wrestling Club.

Abruptly, she seems to notice that you've noticed her, and points at you, before then pointing at the ground in front of her. She wants you to come down and meet her.

It's a Sunday, so you've got the day off from classes....

[]Shoo her off and go back to bed.
[]Open the window and tell her to fuck off, you have no further business with the wrestling club.
[]....she gave the impression of an honorable adversary and a decent person, so it may just be worth hearing her out.

Heart-meltingly sweet romantic fluff? In my Jojo quest?! It's more likely than you'd think..

In all seriousness, I loved the update. There's just something...cathartic about seeing someone like Jotaro (even our distinctly altered Jotaro) actually outright profess his love.
Well done.
:D

Thanks mate, you have no fucking clue how anxious I was about whether I managed to pull that off or not.

Jotaro being a Punk of noble lineage demands we treat those who treat us with respect with at least some respect.

She'll probably want a rematch thinking we threw our fight with her. Which we should refuse by honestly starting he has no clue what happened ( Dio useing his time stop power and Jotaro only registering it a bit) and that he was not holding back she won fair and square.

What's more he's not interested in a rematch (internally worrying a bit about if they did fight and he won that they'd be punished for no reason) as he doesn't fight for no reason.

Also looking back... huh he never did say those 3 words.... woops?

Did...did jotaro stop time so his kiss with his girlfriend could be more romantic?
On accident?
Best accidental power use.
