I'm actually not even sure if Joseph knows about it. Most of what he taught Jotaro was an echo of what Lisa Lisa taught him and Caesar 50 years ago.

So, no. Jotaro doesn't know about it, and I don't see any reasonable way that you could have him "stumble upon it" in this situation.

Seriously, that fight would have been MUCH different if Avdol had Hamon, or if Joseph was there instead of Avdol.

Wasn't that a weird wine thing to detect vampires I'm not sure how that would work for Jotaro. Plus a wendigo is very different than a Vampire/zombie

If he boobytrapped the caves, sending in the party rogue ice clone to deliberately trip the traps isn't a bad idea. Probably not a spammable one either though, if he lays enough traps.

In chapters 12 and 13 of season II, part of the Snow Queen arc, Mizore made one of herself and then a whole group of four in short succession, without being notably impaired. Based on your average, we can conclude that the girl is absolutely bananas at this whole ice clone thing.
