This. Also, I have yet to find non-stupid shonen. My Hero Academia looks promising, but I can't tell yet.

Tsukune is the only one there who can definitely learn Hamon (Moka's a vampire, Kurumu's a succubus, and Mizore's a yuki-onna), and probably not to any great extent. Yukari and Ruby might be able to learn it, but...

It is well established that Jotaro is tough as nails and cares about his friends and family. That he's willing to rely on them to take care of business, less so. Character development, whee.

Actually, that's far from definite. Not everybody has the talent for ripple. Tsukune is is just the only one not locked out of it.

All humans can learn Hamon, but only a few can do more than minor things with it. The Joestar line all have strong talent for using Hamon, which is why I'm sad we never see it again after Stardust Crusaders. Jotaro, Josuke, Giorno and Jolyne REALLY should have learned it; even when not fighting the undead, Hamon is too useful not to learn.
