Yeah that's the problem with the idea.

You can do one of two things, have your character be so smart that it's unbelievable, or have the stands/users be so shit it's understandable they would lose to someone without a stand.

Also I find it hard to believe even Joseph could defeat a strong stand user in battle, and here's why.
Pillar men, as strong as they are, are confined by possibilities and rules, namely the rules of physics and the rules of life. That's why you can beat ultimate life-form Kars, life can't survive in space. (Thought, does Kars have the abilities of Rods in the JoJoverse?).

However stands really don't have hard rules, and don't follow physics, how can you plan around something you can't see, understand or plan around.
Que? Stands totally have rules, quite frequently dependent on physics. Aerosmith tracks you by the CO2 you exhale, so light some fires and it won't be able to find you. Magnets attract each other, so get two people affected by Bast on either side of Mariah and you crush her between them. Red Hot Chili Pepper is formed of electricity, so get far enough away from anything electrical and it can't find you. Stuff like that. Figuring out the rules they abide by and exploiting the living shit out of them is how Stands usually get defeated. And Stand users need to figure out these rules on the fly - or get them explained because the other guy thinks they're fucked regardless - same as non-users would.

And being able to see the Stand quite frequently doesn't impact whether or not you can defeat it. Some of them are dangerous because they can shoot you with invisible-to-normals bullets or smash you with invisible-to-normals fists, others are dangerous because they take your life/soul/kidneys when you lose a bet or age you if your body temperature's too high or sic cryptids on you. And then there's the occasional Stand like Love Deluxe or Super Fly that as far as I'm aware do not actually look different to Stand users and normal folks. Unless most people who see Yukako wonder why that young lady's bald.

I can count on one hand the Stand Users in part 3 who don't conceal themselves to plan an ambush or protect themselves by remaining anonymous or seemingly innocent.

Hol Horse just walks right up to Polnareff and announces his intention to kill him for the bounty, but even he had a second stand user backing him up unseen, whose stand itself is almost entirely invisible.
Anubis also just walks right up to Polnareff, but he wasn't worried about dying since the stand could just possess a new wielder.
Devo the Cursed deliberately picked a dumb hiding spot to attract Polnareff's attention, but he hid himself far better after that to let his stand go to work.
Telence T.Darby does just waltz up to the heroes at the front door to DIO's mansion, but he's actually being backed up by a second unseen Stand user who was responsible for warping the mansion interior and could warp him out if things go south.
And Alessi does ambush Polnareff in person if only because his stand was tied directly to him and he could not just fuck off and let his stand work alone.

Everyone else makes an attempt to remain above suspicion or unseen while their stands try to kill the heroes. Even DIO, as bullshit as he is was angling for a sneak attack before the heroes panicked and jumped out of the building.

I also noticed that the less tactical stand users attack Polenareff alot.
Brainwashed Polnareff decided to waltz up when he was introduced, setting the trend, and ironically on himself.

Steely Dan revealed himself quite quickly when he showed up, although that may have just been because Enya had already pointed him out and he didn't bother trying to divert suspicion.

Then there was Daniel J. D'Arby sitting in plain sight and tempting the Crusaders with info on DIO's hideout since he can't use his Stand's ability any differently. And of course Polnareff falls to it first.

After that there was Murder Bird carrying out Araki's vendetta against all dogs.

Near the end, Vanilla Ice just charged in, although that's just because of Cream's OP Void.

I legit forgot about Pet Shop. The rest I didn't count.

I didn't count Polnareff, and the two Dans because they attempted to divert suspicion before their initial attack by appearing non-hostile.

And I didn't count Vanilla Ice because his Stand almost entirely conceals his body, so he's technically hiding inside his stand to avoid harm. It's basically the same tactic.

imagine he fight where the guy is going "My stand ability makes me truly invincible!" and then he gets shot.
Isn't that pretty much exactly how the Yellow Temperance fight went down? Not the getting shot part, but whashisface was untouchable while inside his stand, so Jotaro just punched him in the face when he popped out to taunt?

Not quite. The guy was able to bring Yellow Temperance up fast enough to block Jotaro's first attacks, so Jotaro knocked him into the water so he'd have to deactivate his Stand to breathe.

...and, no, we haven't had a Moka Gaiden yet. Which is kinda odd, since we're coming up on 100 updates...

Outer Moka is a) annoying and b) unable to do anything but scream in terror when in the presence of Joseph Joestar.

Inner Moka is unable to act - even to communicate with Outer Moka - so long as the rosary remains in place.

Oh, don't worry - I've got plans for Moka on down the line.

I've done the impossible before (or at least, what a certain individual or two thought to be impossible), and I damned well intend to do it again.
Character Development that heavily diverges from canon?! With OUR Outer Moka?! It's more likely than you think!

Someone hasn't watched Vampire Knight. :V
Is it the one where she's his sister, but neither know it, and she's kinda-sorta in love both with him and with the other guy, and later she finds out that he's a vampire, and she's actually (either is or becomes) a vampire princess herself? With the Day Class and the Night Class? Because I might have... Not watched, but observed that one.

That's the one.

A thought occurs:
R+V is pretty much Animu Twilight.
Twilight came out in 2005. The first Rosario chapter came out in 2004. If anything, Twilight is Western novel Rosario.

Which is a moot point, since of course they're both ripoffs of the Dresden Files, which had werewolves and a vampire love interest back in '01.

What date of 2001 specifically? Because Southern Vampire Mysteries had a vampire and were-collie (technically he could become other animals too, but details) on May 1st of that year.
