I think I remember reading somewhere that Madoka's parents don't let her own pets.

Otherwise I would totally be in favor of just stopping time, putting the cat in Madoka's room and leaving.

Reasonable to give Kyouko and Mami a little distraction. And a cat would be a nice sub for Mami's usual interactions with Kyubey.

I'd would rather get rid of a grief sink before spending more grief acquiring weapons. It's 7:30 AM; we can be done before noon, and finally deal with the heart issue. Then we can go weapon shopping. Or go talk to Yuuko. Whatever.

No promises we're not going to keep her in future loops when we're staying in our own apartment.

I just think it would be sort of awkward to go with Mikimom and say 'So you know how you're letting me stay here out of the kindness of your heart? I've decided to test the limits of your compassion by also randomly adopting a stray cat. Literally a stray cat." Whereas with Mami and Kyouko we can spin it as trying to cheer them up.

Well, I said that I hate them, not that I have a 'burning rage' and/or 'barely restrained desire to kill' towards them. The fact that it's a fictional cat surely helps too. As long as it's just a part of a background and doesn't get any significant focus in the narrative(or preferably any focus at all), I'll be happy with it.

And having IC logic/reasoning to support a decision is always good. It has a good chances to actually help too, which is even more important.

Or the actual reason of preventing a contract and credit Oriko for the information. Since everyone has been witch bombed as I recall all will be onboard and understanding of preventing further contracts. If only to keep the number of magical girls the territory has to support low.

We should try to get the heart problem dealt with. Any progress made is good progress.
 
Wait a minute, on the whole checking in with Mami vote: there's a decent chance she's already left for school. Since Sayaka has already left and Madoka was 'almost late' and still caught up with her on her way to school.

Kyoko would still be there if she didnt went to hobo it up.

Because. If Amy dies then Madoka contracts and while thats not an insta-bad end its a huge detriment to our goals and a great hit to homura's psyche.
