Nooooo! THADDDEUUUUSSSSS!!! :cry::cry::cry:

My favorite blood raven, and probably he was done in by Avitus, that damn traitor. God I miss the fact that Brink is almost dead.

Well, at least chapter wise, we got our buckets worth on dealing with that whole piracy issue now, and made it even more powerful and impressive near the end with Cadia, which seems to be something of a end point for the quest.

These guys are wonderful! Honestly I didn't really like the first chapter in the quest, but you've really made the forever knights quite fun!

I think the best part is that no one, fucking No One, would ever guess they're night lords. This is despite the fact that their chivalrous disposition is really just a far more productive way of dealing with the future sight of their father.

A Strike Cruiser? Not a Battle Barge?

At first I forgot that Battle Barges were still attainable in the modern day, then I decided that a Strike Cruiser fit the reference better anyways.

That and I like the idea that they value something that is tremendously reliable more then it's more impressive peers.

Huh. So, generally not all that remarkable but good solid astartes.

Honestly they're a bit like budget Ultrmarines. They don't have the numbers, or the amount of named characters, but the Fated Champions mean they can punch above their weight class.

To the best of my knowledge Thaddeus is never mentioned in DoW3 (and who knows about any books), so I left the details ambiguous.

...Honestly had forgotten about Brink...now I am very sad.

Honestly, this has sort of made this the more fun quest of the two chapter builders now, partly because of my love of Blood Ravens getting brought up, but also because I just realized that every planet we have as a chapter homeworld, now actively changes! I missed it the first time round, but that just sells a lot of detail that sets in whenever we make a new chapter after the succes of the last one, with the exception of the mission choices per turn, but this little add on about the worlds and the people within them changing, just feels all the more special in spite of how insignificant it kind of is. Also helps that we actually get to choose and learn about one or more characters that we would like to lead our chapter(s) and how they will change and lead them after we set the ground work to help set them on to do our work proud.

I say we should probably pick an option that deals with one of the chimera's next turn now, since we more then did our part to deal with the biggest of the 4, and dealt at least partly, with that whole thing about "ten thousand fires across the imperium" bit. I'm thinking Tzeentch to help deal with the fact that the alpha legion and the fallen are getting involved, and that is never something you want to leave unguarded by just anyone, especially those three groups of marines or chaos god worshippers.

True, he doesn't get brought up, but so does not a lot of other characters like I think Tarkus or, as mentioned, Aramus and Thaddeus. But I always kinda pictured him making it to the end along with Hair gel commander, his optimism about being a space marine in a terrible galaxy always got to me, especially whenever their was a conversation between him and Avetis.

The Infinite: Unfortunately a Teacher and Squire caught the eye of one Trazyn the Infinite who swiftly locked them within a stasis field. Thankfully the treacherous Necron had second thoughts about doing so when a group of Fated Champions swiftly teleported to his location bearing a letter written by their Chapter Master. While the contents of said letter are unknown it proved dire enough to dissuade the ancient and broker something approaching an apology from him.
Lol they got him with a strongly worded letter of all things.

so, here's a thought. the Burning Hands were gathering reinforcements from the mechanicus to try and help on Cadia, but the battle was over before they could arrive. meanwhile the Forever Knights managed to delay the end of the battle, so if we delay it enough could we make it so the mechanicus is actually able to show up and help?

I really don't like the Primaris Marines for a variety of petty reasons so I'm going to leave it ambiguous whether they exist here. If the thread has strong opinions feel free to speak up.

I agree. Primaris are stupid idea, personally, I would change it and said that after Guilliman awakening, if you want to have this event, it was revealed that he planned for Imperium being at the brink of destruction and in secret, he demanded from unorthodox group of Tech-Priests to innovate new war machines and weapons for Space Marines and Imperial Forces in general, including new, superior Power Armour models, and also to preserve gene-vault full of geneseed that was directly taken from every Primarch before Rangdan Xenocides, so the 2nd and 11th Primarchs are included, allowing for immediate founding of large number of new Chapters.

This way, Imperium still gets a boost but it's somehow more reasonable than a single Tech-Priest doing this all in secret and making even bigger Space Marines than Emperor.

So what's the next set of crisis are we going to deal with next turn and which gene-seed groups are we going to use next turn: Loyalist or Traitors?

I personally would like Traitors. I just find the Traitor Legions more interesting, the only Loyalist that I like are the Salamanders.

We could make Alpha Legion geneseed Chapter to work with The Dark Angels against the Outis and the Alpha Legion itself. Their infilitration abilities could be useful to stop Outis from getting anything useful and also combat fire with fire.

Another I thought about, would be Death Guard for the "Waaagh and Prejudice" request. They tough and master of mass scale biological warfare, they would be able to kill Orks and Bronze Midir warriors en mass before the proper fight even starts and in case of those who survive, they would probably still be weakened from the biological weaponry, and with Death Guard endurance, the Chapter would have physical advance in close combat, which will be useful against Khornates and Orks.

Really want to see what we can do with War Hound geneseed now.

Wait wait wait

People get gifts from the Blood Ravens?

Usually it's the other way around, or they're trying to dispose of evidence.

I'm always bummed that people forget that The Blood Ravens actually love gifting things to other Chapters. It's actually really cute (and why the Salamanders like them). Unfortunately most chapters are less then receptive to such actions.

Seriously though, they really like the Knights

And the seven imperial virtues Are?

Hatred (Chainsword), Duty (Power Sword), Patience (Power Fist), Vigilance (Power Lance), Sacrifice (Thunder Hammer), Humility (Lightning Claw) and Zeal (Power Maul).

I personally have no issue with the concept of Primaris marines aka more gene seed organs and new gear.

Cawl having a legion worth of kidnap children turn marines in his basement was stupid tho.
