Yara does have this side to her that seeks excitement and thrill, so being a bruiser isn't too out there imo. That said, her main feature is being kind-hearted and empathetic really, so giving her empath powers works fine. And of course I'd also want to give her some offensive options as to give her something to stand on her own feet, as she would've likely always wanted.

Something completely off topic.
But if we are making Homer our Bruiser...
What do you guys have in mind for him?
I Think I made a plan waaaaaay earlier that was Steadfast+Anteus+ Lightstep to make the mother of all walls.
My other idea was totally not bowser tm.
Both would fill the Bruiser angle we need.

Plan: Troughout Time and Space...HE Is the Koopa King!
Daggermaw (1) + Hidrocity (1)+ Adamant (3) + Frostbite (3) + Deadman (5) = 13 potency
Key words:
Transformation 2x
Regeneration 2x
Enhanced Strenght 3x
Enhanced Senses 1x
Elemental Manipulation 3x
Invulneravility 1x

[X] Commit

Seems like an easy choice, we already wanted a psychic, so might as well commit them to be Yara in exchange for more information. We have other candidates if another powerset is desperately needed, like if we're attacked by the "Evil Invincible Behemoth That Can Only Be Killed By Celery".

Could get rid of Deadman for something else or get rid of it entirely and have a decent 8 potency power.

The key to a good frontliner tank isn't just ability to eat punishment, but also the ability to force people to engage instead of just ignoring them.

Hence, why I think Seraph + Miss Conception should be core to any Telepathic Tank build. Force opponents into engaging the tank by fooling their ability to target anyone else. Slap Steadfast on there for Invulnerability and she's golden. The last 2 Potency we can use for DNA that does damage.

[X] Don't Commit

I'm prepared to commit to a psychic synergy, but [True Telepathy] seems to lock in Seraph unless the magic d6 lands on that synergy exactly. I'd like some more flexibility within the space of psychic builds.

Though I suppose the vetoing could be taken advantage of when creating builds that are genuinely intended to be psychic but don't have [True Telepathy] to discover its ingredients exactly. That might be really metagamey though?

Yara gazes back into Stockpile's eyes, matching his gaze. She searches him for a long, long time, like a jeweler examining a gem for flaws. She picks him apart, seemingly without words.

And finds him wanting.

"No," she says.

"No?" Stockpile says, rearing back, "Ms. Oliveira, please, reconsidered. You're frightened—"

"I know how I'm feeling, thank you," she says, "I appreciate your concern. I even believe that you believe what you say. But, I'm capable of making my own decisions. I will be joining Lady Leizi at the Apiary."

What Yara did here makes her look like she has Psychic powers and how else could have survived pursuit by Socalite Butterfly with only Belle Sabuerse as company if she didn't have some kind of powers.

I'm biased and openly so, I want the Red Huntress Memoria build as an offensive teleporting duelist. Gives us a combat teleporter and gives us an offensive DPS who can probably slice through some of the invulns in the setup.

Otherwise some Self Enhance synergy Lightstep build if we confirm the synergy there is also pretty appealing for a physical brawler.

I thought that was just part of the 'deal'. If we're required to make a certain synergy, then either we are told the ingredients for the synergy, or we throw out a bunch of our best guesses and Bitterman reveals the most-voted correct one.

Or, alternatively, Bitterman takes the most-voted correct one without telling us what it is. To preserve mystery...

To veto at the close of voting in case the most popular plan is incorrect would leave a very bad taste in my mouth.

And if the chosen plan is hidden we are almost certain to be able to infer the plan from the final state of the keywords after all synergies are resolved. Synergies always give their recipe upon being found.

I would veto outright, and not delay it.

We have a complete True Telepathy, now, so it's hard to argue why we wouldn't just use it. Unless we also know the components anyway when we go to empower Yara and use them instead. Either way I don't think we get to 'guess'.

That, and we know the Mysteries have a bunch of psychics watching us when we're outside the Apiary, so catching them in the act or having a powerful enough psychic to shut that down will go a long way towards keeping our espionage game up.
Well, two. We know Hand is one, because he's a dead ringer for the description of the Third Voice. Lantern is the second, his daughter, and appears to have a super-juiced-up version of Clairvoyance. "[Psychic Clairvoyance]"?

We kinda overlooked it in the rush of the update and how Dynamite is the coolest things since sliced bread, but Lantern is most likely who Speaker refers to as Lilith:

"Lilith has been disobedient, but, for once, that works to our favor. She's looking for her sister too. You spoil that child."
...So I can't help but think that her sister is Eve (Moon River). Lilith and Eve - the first women. Those names can't be coincidence, can they? Is Eve another daughter of Hand, a failed experiment of sorts? Is that why Eve never really wanted to be found?

That would be weird normally (why would you be afraid of being found if you don't even know what you yourself look like?), but it makes sense if she interacted with Hand and Lilith via telepathy and decided to fuck off.

And, now that I think about it, "[Technopathy]" is almost certainly its own form of synergy that involves True Telepathy.
