@Bitterman, what happens if we try using someone who we know Socialite Butterfly currently has an active clone of, like Justicar?

Apparently JU pissed someone--or multiple people--off enough that they got shoved into the Minus Zone or something instead of just killed, so even their Superpower is inaccessible--even if we had a sample I guess.
Realistically, I guess unlocking the other members of the JU starter set requires Plot Advancement--maybe by completing what would have been their Plot if they were the starting character?

It was just narrative, but I guess giving them Algernon via line of sight transference?
I dunno, I just thought of the first three people I'd think of (aside from Nora) if I was Ellie.
Seems that way to me. Or just "people who were options in the first vote".
Why? Perhaps the dead metahumans are in some sort of afterlife that Nora, who knew about it from her own armor, kept her friends from going to.

I agree that Shutdown is absolutely a necessary component. The ability to turn off Justicar's power is vital to this engagement, and if we're lucky we can use it to shut down Butterfly's power as well long enough to crush her skull into paste.

if it's any consolation, White Hawk will now have absolutely all the reason in the world to hate Socialite Butterfly himself when this passes. He heard the Edicts, felt this pain, and Silvio will undoubtedly explain what happened later on. He's not going to take this lying down, probably.

hh. yeah what if we added that power copier we know died's power to Justiciar and Heavenly Astrologian.
We use Heavenly Astrologian's power of controlling Fundamental Force Manipulation combine it with JUsticiar's ability to puut down Edicts THen add the Power Copier. to allow the power to be inhernetly .... I think his name was Copycat.
The power would be 3 shots of a power in the vicinity acting on the wrld to cause something to happen. Im agine ironically enough based on Socialite Butterfly commanding the World to twist itself to accomplish something Ellie wants. Like say she commands that Socialite Butterfly will die. For the duration of the power circumstance itself leading to Socialite Butterfly dying. Her power turns on her . Debris faslls from space to kill her. For the duration of the power all possible vectors that will lead to Socialite Butterfly's death will happen.

We probably need Shutdown as the first power for Justicar and one of HA or Zeno for battlefield control. Make the third either Red Huntress for scaling and hope it can DPS enough off the insane ceiling it should have here (and that the sheer amount will keep the start from being too slow) or go for a raw DPS power like Novalight just so we can try to cut things off at the knees here.

Why, I think the obvious and thematic answer is Red Huntress. The tracking mark will help with targeting and long-distance applications. It'll work as a lock-on.

I mean, even if she could, what would it do for her?
She doesn't copy someone's experience, which is why her Scarlet Maturity is a spammable power battery rather than an invincible war god.
Algernons are "Gain Super Skill in something in exchange for eventually going mad in some specific, ironic way that probably defeats the purpose of you gaining that skill in the first place, and then you die after that." That's not actually a useful power for Butterfly.
