Our Karate Master or so on, as I've said once already, is basically the perfect person to turn the right kind of power (one that synergizes with his skills) into something that hits like a solid-A while being only a 'solid B' or whatnot.

Dude, you can just refer to it by potency of ambrosia (P13 is a good term that's been in use in the thread for awhile)

And yeah, it's balanced by two factors: money (self explanatory) and time (lots of deadlines)

Avenues for LL improvement:
  • More usage out of that [Fitness] keyword (bioelectricity? You could do a lot with that, maybe regen)
  • More practice with upper limits of punches. (Even if it's only for a few milliseconds, lightning bolts are really fucking hot)
  • Getting that weapon (big stick lmao)
I was thinking of a weapon that can use LL's contact based electricity as fuel to allow her to use them at long distances. A thunder gun.

But she definetly needs something like a barrier or something.

Making a cover story for it is going to be really difficult, that is the problem with him. For some people is a bit easier than for others.

I do agree that maybe make actual B tier powers or C tiers should be done, at least to maintain apperances.

Because since we are already on the edge with Doctor Silver, if we attempt for others to try to punch below their grade, there will be a high chance (depending of their power) that they will mess up.

If we give him a power based on that one where it only starts/activates once he dies, we could literally just go, "He never died."

It could work yeah.
But it would cost a lot.
He is Potency 3, Deadman's DNA is Potency 5.
It costs a Fast Pass and that's it though? Boosts Song to 5 and leaves space for Hunch/Daggermaw/Soldier X without going out of the minor side effects range off the -3 Potency reduction. The only issue is the question of needing more relatively more normal power level powers in the C-B range but this possibly would fall in that area?

A tol 3 character can reach up to 6 potency if we lower it. With a fast pass, theybwould get 5 tol and can go all tje way to 8 potency. It juat the higher thenpotency of tbe ambrosia the more potent are the side effects.

A lot of different combos for song huh?
Theres the just shove every potency 1 power and see what happens.

The Master Splinter reference.

The deadman excuse (after a fast pass)

Yeah, and that'd only have a minor side-effect, so it should work out.

Fitness, Regeneration x2 (one Deadman), Clairvoyance, Transformation, Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Senses, Elemental Manipulation

Enhanced Senses+Clairvoyance feels like it could just be fucking Spidey Sense, honestly?

Enhanced Strength, Fitness, and Regenerationx2 also seems pretty fitting.

It's also faster than two tolerance boosts! :V

Just look at what's happened so far… this quest is dense! A lot happens every issue! Missions are hard, and rarely is success anywhere close to guaranteed! We're going up against some major players, immediately!

The sooner we get more heroes, the better.

Honestly it's a good thing we figured it out, because there would absolutely be egotistical billionaires willing to spend the time and money (even at a profit if someone unscrupulous figured out out) to go from T1 to T10 over the better part of a year if it meant they got to be a world-class super. Hell, if they wanted to minimize the risk of big drawbacks, they could stay "merely" an A-class and reduce the potency so that they're only rolling for moderate side-effects.

I advocate saving money and not doing any Tolerance boosting.

Incidentally, maybe we should just give Song Harper's sample? With luck, it'd grant the "scales to match enemy" aspect, and we can explain it as him having never properly faced an enemy strong enough to trigger it.

We honestly for Shelley we're probably fine-ish as is? Potency 9 (9-3, to hit the 6) is more than enough to do some real damage. I think that's solidly A-class?
As much as I genuinely want to see her hit P13 just for the sheer spectacle, you might be genuinely right. (Damn.) Rhys is P9 and A-class, though he is very specialized.

Assuming that we use the Nox/Millions/Eastwood combo, "Nox Esurientem but more sneaky" would already register as a HUGE threat for most people, if not most of Horizon. She might even have extra enhanced regen and speed, just to start, and that's no even going into what her constructs could be. A Vampire Stand?

Still advocating to push her to T10, but that's mostly because of creator bias.

To be fair, I am left deeply unsure how the hell we're going to get two more T10 candidates in the next seven Issues, since that's apparently the, like, bare minimum required to stand a chance at "Wider Than A Mile."
