Apropos of nothing, had Valiant Silver won the vote to be the protagonist, she would have died when you gave the EXCEED-BEYOND armor to someone.

Apropos of nothing.
Makes sense. She miscalculated how separate the connection would be, and would have paid for it with her life. I assume said miscalculation was a result of rebound. Rebound seems strangely malicious, for something that is the result of the power not being properly distributed causing an overload.

Ah I see-
She wouldn't have already been 'wet' like in canon, meaning she would have had to hit rebound in order to save whoever put of EXCEED-BEYOND right?

Would that also potentially also sorta kept Silver around, but as like a voice in that successor's head? Since we know she exists in the Stage in canon now, or would she just become exactly like she was in canon?

ngl that kinda makes me glad we went with Lady Leizi "We can be more" edition and not the more morose depressing "gonna die eventually" alternate route that is Valiant Silver. I know there was a roll, and I was actually fine going with either, but now I've changed my mind. I don't care what sweet early lore VS route would've given.

While I am absolutely fine with this route, I am extremely interested in what the Towarri and Yazmin versions would have looked like. Some part of the effectiveness of Crusade relies on Yazmin's video log and Leizi being seen as the shadiest member of the group. In a world where she's alive, that would have made it a lot harder. Slandering Uiara seems to be about as effective as trying to nail Jell-O to a wall. I'm certain they would have tried, and still found a way to make Nora seem like at fault, but it would have also been interesting to see a version where we run Project Prometheus openly (see: Bitterman's discussion about what everyone's perks would have been) because everyone loves us.

And Towarri, I would just love to see the version of the Faust scene and her going "Cut the crap, Crown-Over-Moon. I know what you want, and I know what you're up to."

Yeh we got lucky Knowing what we Know now. Leizi for actually knowing the dangers and rewards of missions is great.

If I was there now I would have voted for Towarri to go for Unga Bunga route that has Ap for all to do missions. Since Opale would join up immediately. Meaning we start with 4AP so can fulfill time limited missions as long as we went recruiting, Though wed have a harder time getting G9 for ambrosia.

Towarri was basically Unga Bunga route of threatening everyone to stand down through intimidation and pure power if we went with Mona as another P13 that supports us. Maybe Chimera as Espionage expert for Mona to support Towarri Hit.

Though Going Black Swan still would have been fun as Pure Unga Bunga while Chatelet rides heard as 2nd in command. Towarri was probably tripping over traps then crushing them with power which is fun in owns way.

Knowing what I know now, I'm definitely interested in knowing what Towarri route could've offered. With Châtelet already available and Automne in coma, and if we really want to, Mona for extra damage maybe. Though honestly I feel like we would've attempted a more ESP/REP character, which could've severely altered Mona's build.

Mona Rep is mainly from Power and personality. So as long as we picked her first shed have decent rep.

Also with chatelet 7 rep I feel like were fine in rep so probably Mona in Espionage which shes actually pretty talented in since she started with 2 on it.

Apart from Chimera maybe Metamorph?

Since we didnt really have an Invisibility or Clairvoyance char.

Edit: I checked Metamoprh would have probably given us Handyman Shapeshifting with Invulnerability, Strenght and Energy Blast which is actually damn manor Hit and espionage

White Hawk (turning to him as though shocked): "What?" (turns back to Seraph) "...Seraph. I don't believe it, how could you? I trusted you. I can't believe you'd do this. For shame! We have high standards to live up to!"
I don't think he'll do that. She's a Horae Guard member and thus both one of his closest allies and extremely powerful, and they need her to screen everyone for their more sensitive projects. She's an asset they might not be able to replace.
Also I wonder if she managed to gather data on the psychic sensibilities of our team. That would be Bad.
Update tomorrow. It would have been done tonight, but then I dipped into 2000's era fanfiction.net romance tropes and I'm not sorry.
2000-era ?
Hmmm.
Also, I wonder if ao3 exists in this timeline, considering how highly conservative the US is. It might not be US based.

I should do a writeup of the various social media websites present, that could be interesting.

Also I'm using Sketchbook on my phone to do the map and can't figure out how to mirror it. 😓

Seraph and Sunlight Knight float down behind him. Black Swan hisses and clutches her head as your armor pings.

Psychic Interference Detected. Counteracting.
Swan grabbing her head right as Seraph arrives on the scene does indicate that she did like, poke at everyone-not necessarily in a modification way maybe just a broad scan for minds to form an area radar.

Seraph finding out Mona weakness to pyschic is likely yeh which sucks.

Then again its possible she might just think she managed to caught her offguard since succeding once isnt enough to make it clear Monas weakness.

Well, if we're talking about finding out weakness, there's a possibility they may suspect Doctor Silver's reaction, though chances are it's still at a level of suspicion and not a certainty for them, likely mitigated by the fact we succeeded two of the rep rolls in his and Châtelet's section.

I do find it interesting that they went with inflaming anger for John and Mona, guilt with Maddie, and... grief? but also anger? with Opale. I wonder how much of it was planned vs on the fly.

Then she has made a mistake
As now we know she's likely to target mona meaning she's not likely to see who we send at her

I suspect it was more "amplify their emotions", which they paired with provocative questions. Depending on the feedback Seraph gets, they might not realize that BS and DS have a weakness to psychic interference, so much as the questions were particularly effective. I imagine Mona's reaction particularly surprised them, but if Seraph doesn't get the right feedback, they may just assume they got lucky and hit a hot button issue with her.

Things we need to know for next turn

Long Shadows of the Night (AP 2, HIT 5, ESPIONAGE 9, OPERATIONS 4)

Grand Theft Person (AP 2, HIT 9, OPERATIONS 7)

The Fellowship (AP 2, HIT 11, ESPIONAGE 16, REPUTATION 9, OPERATIONS 9)

We have two turns to do the following quests. We promised Wolong we would do Long Shadow of Night and Grand Theft Person quests meanwhile the Fellowship could land us an alliance with Triology that may lead to us intergrating them. Additionaly get an old legenday hero like Maverlous Shine on team could help our rep.

Train Kept a Rollin' (AP 2, HIT 6, REPUTATION 8, OPERATIONS 9)

We promised Ellie, we would do this quest to help those magical girls

Pest Control (AP 1, HIT 3, REPUTATION 2):

This quest might help with Train Kept a Rollin and killing Behemoths might help our rep

Smoke on the Water (AP 1, ESPIONAGE 4, OPERATIONS 4):

The last chance to fufill this quest is coming and it might be a good one to take, it invloves: Le Petit Prince (who Menagrie Witch wants to kill) Demon Flamez (who Doctor Silver wants to destroy) and the potential to get some new recuits (even if they aren't squeaky clean)

You're only obligated to do Long Shadows on the Night and Grand Theft Person. If you don't do them Issue 4, you'll be forced to do both Issue 5.

I forgot, we don't have to do Air in Valley, I will correct my list.

Edit: Wait a moment @Bitterman, those Wolong missions were said to cost 1AP when we pleged to help Wolong but now they are apparently 2AP, why is that?

The AP got increased when Crusade showed up and started mucking things up.

But yeah we have 3 AP locked in for Demon Flamez + the Train. We need to do minimum 1 Monarch mission {YQ/Third Person/Shroud} for publicity reasons and to get ahead on things, maybe two? It mostly depends on how important pushing to do Reality Check is, time left on YQ/Reality Check's new throughlines, and if they cost 1 or 2 AP.

Then maybe squeeze in one of the 1 AP filler missions depending on how things go cost wise? We save Fellowship for as long as possible so we can ideally have at least one extra hero and time to grow stats for it.

Smoke on the Water and Grand Theft Person will clear some obligations and land us some control in the OID. However Long Shadows of the Night may get Sponsorship from an important Corparation, which may solve our financal issues.

I'm inclined to go:

Train Kept A Rollin' (AP 2, HIT 6, REPUTATION 8, OPERATIONS 9)
Grand Theft Person (AP 2, HIT 9, OPERATIONS 7)
Long Shadows of the Night (AP 2, HIT 5, ESPIONAGE 9, OPERATIONS 4)
Smoke on the Water (AP 1, ESPIONAGE 4, OPERATIONS 4)
Pest Control (AP 1, HIT 3, REPUTATION 2)

It's very likely that new time-limited actions will become available on the next two turn. I'd rather finish our obligations ASAP; and leave the Fellowship and the Air in the Valley for another turn.

If we had another time-limited 1-AP mission I'd be inclined to put that in place of Pest Control, but we don't, and at any rate, it might not just be helpful to hunt down Behemoths to possibly help with the Train Kept A Rollin' mission, we also really need money.

...Also also, part of me wonders how many Behemoths Mona can take down without having to worry about collateral damage.
