The bigger question is if it's morally ethically to turn someone into a furry.

Because if we so, the justice unlimited forum is going to be inundated with an uncomfortable amount of weirdly buff furry art

alright, it's a synergy we can get for P2.

That means that we can likely rule out:
-Mr. Hunch+Millions Minefield
(Clari+Energy Manip)
-Daggermaw+Soldier X
(Transformation+Fitness+Regen+Enhanced Strength/Senses)

Since those have already been used for DS and Handyman respectively. Which is a shame, because it looks like just Daggermaw and Soldier X should be able to get a synergy just off of those keywords.

So, the remaining P2 combos are:
-Soldier X+Mr. Hunch
-Soldier X+Multiplex
-Soldier X+Millions
-Soldier X+Hydrocity
-Daggermaw+Multiplex
-Daggermaw+Millions
-Daggermaw+Hydrocity
-Daggermaw+Mr. Hunch
-Millions+Hydrocity
-Millions+Multiplex
-Millions+Soldier X
-Multiplex+Mr. Hunch
-Multiplex+Hydrocity
-Hydrocity+Mr. Hunch

Looking at these combos, the ones I've bolded seem the most promising. Energy+Strength/Fitness for some sort of Goku? It would fit in with the "add more to make it better" thing Bitterman hinted at…

Worst case scenario if we decide to use our Wolong question on something else, we just do every P1 except for Multiplex and/or Hydrocity, and then add Steadfast to make the perfect Song build.

(I was half joking but now I'm somewhat interested. Some sort of battle aura from Mr. Hunch+Hydrocity? Battle precognition from Mr. Hunch+Daggermaw?)

Bitterman just keeps looking at us and silently weeps, knowimg we will somehow miss something cool he wants to show us/write about.

Okay we know that we've been given Enhanced Strength + Clairvoyance and Clairvoyance + Energy Manipulation so far. If at raw 2 cost it implies either Hunch/Daggermaw or Hunch/Millions, where we know that Hunch/Millions are not enough to give a synergy (the Clairvoyance/Energy Manipulation one)(unless it got eaten by Force Fields which is possible).

So if we try rocking from a base of Hunch/Daggermaw/Soldier X for the synergy fish and self boosting of his physical state, that seems like a good start?

If the 2 potency is taking into account the -3 option that gets a bit trickier but the Hunch/Daggermaw option would fit with us naming literally every other 1 cost barring Millions when Bitterman bemoaned us getting very close and trying to give us it. :V

Mr. Hunch + Daggermaw would presumably cover Clairvoyance + Enhanced Strength, the synergy that was bugging Wolong.

Not gonna lie, Soldier X + Hunch + Daggermaw + Sewer Rat does sound like a cool Master Splinter build. Otherwise we could just cut the Gordian Knot and just give him every Potency 1 sample.

Would Million Minefield and Hidrocity really add anything though?
Maybe energy redirection?
*energy blast*
*back hand* NOPE!

KNOWN SYNERGIES:
[Energy Manipulation] + [Elemental Manipulation] + [Solar Absorption] = [Fundamental Force Manipulation]

[Transformation] + [Transformation] + [Regeneration] + [Regeneration] + [Fitness] = [Autobiokinesis]
[Clairvoyance] + [Clairvoyance] + [Energy Manipulation] + [Energy Manipulation] + [Ally Empowerment] = [Force Fields]
See?
Also yeah Mr. Song could totally have all 6 potency 1 powers and then lower the potency by 3, to be in the range of his current 3 tolerance...huh.

Edit: You know... early in the quest (as in like when we were making Mona) i did wonder what mixing all the 1/2 potency powers would do...

If rocking those 3 as bases its something like these options? Enhanced Strength + Clairvoyance + Enhanced Senses is the assumption currently, going to hard limit this to 8 cost so we never do more than one Fast Pass due to money. This would leave roughly 6 directions we could take with this imo for trying to strengthen it within that cost range?

Sewer Rat + base (6 total, no boosting needed) = (2x all) Enhanced Senses, Transformation, (1x all) Clairvoyance, Enhanced Strength, Fitness, Regeneration, Self-Enhancement. Building up the Enhanced Senses and seeing if Self-Enhancement pushes it further. If going Fast Pass probably just grab Steadfast or Multiplex/Millions.

Adamant + base (6 total, no boosting needed) = (2x all) Transformation, Enhanced Strength, Regeneration, (1x all) Enhanced Senses, Clairvoyance, Fitness. Building the Enhanced Strength and seeing if ABO helps it defensively. If going Fast Pass, probably just Steadfast?

Frostbite + base (6 total, no boosting needed) = (2x all) Enhanced Strength, (1x all) Elemental Manipulation, Regeneration, Enhanced Senses, Clairvoyance, Transformation, Fitness. Building the Enhanced Strength and Invuln, likely goes Fast Pass to get Hydrocity + 1 (Multiplex or Millions) unless going for Steadfast.

Golem + base (8 total, needs Fast Pass) = (2x all) Enhanced Strength, (1x all) Elemental Manipulation, Regeneration, Enhanced Senses, Clairvoyance, Transformation, Fitness. Building the Enhanced Strength and some Invuln, lacking Hydrocity sucks but capping at 8 here so.

Memoria + base (7 total, needs +1, realistically just Fast Pass) = (2x all) Clairvoyance, (1x all) Teleportation, Enhanced Senses, Enhanced Strength, Transformation, Regeneration, Fitness. Building the Clairvoyance and hoping battle senses + Teleportation + Enhanced strength allows for a combat teleporter. Frankly unless Fast Pass costs extra its probably better to add on a 1 cost as well and I'd go Millions for trying to get more combat Teleporter Memoria synergy?

Fast Track + Steadfast + base (8 total, needs Fast Pass) = (1x all) Enhanced Senses, Enhanced Strength, Self-Enhancement, Ally Enhancement, Enhanced Speed, Invulnerability, Transformation, Fitness, Regeneration, Clairvoyance. This is basically trying to see if we can enhance this build off of going for every enhance synergy boost on top of the baseline Senses/Strength, where Steadfast is required just to fix the Fast Track issue.

What I'm getting most out of this discussion is that we as a thread seem to have missed something in our power discussions, and that's mixing the purposes of powers.

Like, y'know what I mean? Whenever synergy talk came up before, it usually fell into one or the other group— utility or combat ability. And I think that we all grouped together the DNA samples that we had into one set on the other, and didn't mix them.

Combat
Steadfast
Daggermaw
Soldier X
Sewer Rat
Steadfast

Utility/Psychic
Wild Speaker
Mr. Hunch
Solferina
All the 4-cost Clarivoyance people

See? With the exception of the Wolong hint, we never even considered mixing together DNA samples from these two separate groups. Because we considered them DNA samples for separate types of powers. But as Bitterman told us, in the end our build's intended purpose will be seen— so we should be able to use almost whatever we want instead of being bound by these restrictions.
There is no guarantee of the power that will be granted by a dose of Ambrosia, but I will take the thread's rationale for making a particular dose into consideration. In other words, if you're trying to make a stealthy hero and include powers for that purpose, I won't give the candidate a power that makes them glow really bright.

Am I making sense right now?

Id be down for Song getting

Mr Hunch
Daggermaw
Frostbite
Steadfast
Soldier X

Double down on Strenght and Invulnerability which fits a martial artist with fitness and regen working well for it too

Frostbites powers was more elemental weapons so id be easy for him to add to his style

... would that make him Sub Zero lite? We making Mortal Kombat charachters now..

I think daggermaw + mister Funch is our base this time round
Well yeh though since we want to stack the potency and have powers for a martial artist. Needs a fast pass but

Mr Hunch
Daggermaw
Adamant
Sewer Rat

X2 Enhanced Senses
X2 Enhanced Strenght
X2 Transformation
Regeneration
Self Enhanemet
Clairvoyance

Stacks on 2 of the synergies hopefully gives regen and Slef Enhancemetn to buff body.

Adamant Transformation should let for Non Biopogical transformation so of we get a toigh material makes almost invulnerable and being a shrinker is pretty useful as well.

In building metahuman powers for combat we are naturally attracted to combat powers considering it's much easier to imagine how the abilities of the sample might be expressed in the final result. Not saying you're wrong, but could you give an example of mixing this utility/combat dichotomy that has not been proposed?

I do think Soldier X should be distinctly part of it even without it being likely part of the synergy. He's old and going for a melee build most likely, getting him back closer to his prime physically seems distinctly relevant for making him do his best here.
