Now I wonder if Nora had lvied could we have gotten a Zord..... No LAdy Leizi is more important.

Although.... NowI really want an Algernon?
Yeah, who knows what we could do with Algernons. I was conteplating them, consequences and all. But if theren is a way to outright remove the rebound effect/lessen the effects? Better wait till that point I think. *looks at luck roll like Timmy turners dad* bitterdice......

...

Wait a sec.

Rosemary's the only Potency 14 person we've seen.

She also, is the only one who had a Red Power... Except the only person we've confirmed as one of Scarlet Maturity's debtors, and the only thing we know that they have in common was, in fact. "That both died at Scarlet Maturity's hands"

Is she someone with a Potency 13 Power who got further juiced by Scarlet Maturity? And that's how he killed her? He died using some method, and he just insta-killed her through all of her spare bodies by Cashing In?

Actually, did we even witness him killing her? Or was it more "She died and the investigation revealed "Scarlet Maturity did it?"

I say wait until we get an updated profile on Printemps DNA sample before further speculation on this. See if the red colour disappears from the keyword and/or potency.

It's still red and potency 6. It won't change.
Neat. So, with regards to Alectai's theory, I'll note that Apiary's Potency 14 is not coloured red. Which suggests it's partially to completely wrong, as it implies Apiary's potency is natural.

From there, there's two possibilities I see: Scarlet Maturity did boost then collect Apiary, but since her Potency was already do high, it wasn't affected, or he didn't and the Red is something else.

The first indicates a limit/weakness of the power: he can't boost someone past a certain threshold of power. That leaves the question of where that limit is. Could be that only Apiary is too strong for boost and it's therefore irrelevant, or it could terminate much lower.

Well that's good to know. But, I'm iffy of adding it to anything, dint want to be sucker punched and find out it makes you the next victim in SM's revive. I know you don't do trap options, but its a safe assumption to make until we research it a bit more.

If Scarlet Maturity can boost and kill someone without consent wouldn't he just use that as a straightforward destiny bond power? Initially I thought he was going to try that during his fight with Black Swan. It would buff the opponent to help contribute to getting a "good fight". But if it goes against his ideology to kill off peer opponents that way then I doubt he did it to Apiary since he didn't do it to Black Swan.

Guys, gals, gays, gamers, the Corkboard's been updated. Here's the new info below, if you only care about that.
EXCEED-BEYOND
  • The sequel to EXCEED. Created by Nora as a version of EXCEED that wouldn't kill the user within a few minutes.
  • Found in the Apiary, along with Nora's second-to-last message.
  • Has all the powers of the first one. Just like EXCEED at base, the powers are separated into three modules, plus an extra one that allows for Opening The Stage (read: likely reality warping)
  • To be used, someone has to take a modified version of Nora's DNA (which is 13 Potency, so we need a max Tolerance candidate), which will guarantee them the side effect Psychic Field Senstivity. However, unlike Mona, the user will only suffer the side effect out of the protective suit.
  • Almost certainly broken as fuck, and likely necessary to deal with certain Leviathan things.
  • NEW ISSUE EDIT: Piloted by Noelle "Ellie" Han, the daughter of Heavenly Astrologian. AKA Valiant Gold.
  • Nora mixed up the instruction manual for it with… her VS/Uiara lesbian fanfic. Yay.
  • Transported Ellie to the Stage, but we didn't get much info on how.
  • Protects against psychic attacks while the user is inside it.
The Woman In Blue
  • A mysterious woman, who lies Backstage. She runs a bar filled not just with food, but with experiences. Comes in such flavors as "your father's bedtime stories" and "your first kiss". Scrumptious.
  • Doesn't do too much, because she doesn't want Augur to find her.
  • She gave Nora instructions to find two of the Four Voices. Nora never did, but we don't know. After all, we still haven't seen what lies in the deepest part of the Apiary.
  • Also, is apparently Nora Kim?!?! Or at the very least, has her face. Weird…
  • NEW ISSUE EDIT: oh god so much.
  • Nora's "counterpart", whatever that means. It has been theorized that Algernon types need a partner to safely use their power, similar to Pacific Rim's Jaegers… but take that with a grain of salt!
  • Was part of a team that awoke the Leviathan???
  • Also referred to herself as the "mother of psytech" despite the fact that Nora invented psitech.
  • Alternate Universe Nora, Zero Escape Style? Time Traveler???
  • A complete enigma.
The Stage
  • The "collective consciousness" of all sentient beings.
  • It's likely that the Susurration affected it somehow, but we don't know enough to confirm.
  • Just like Backstage, which is where the Woman in Blue resides, it runs on non-linear time. Mona was pulled back in time to when EXCEED activated, which helped Nora beat the Catch-22, which in turn likely inspired Project Prometheus.
  • NEW ISSUE EDIT: currently very fucked up thanks to the Leviathan's awakening.
Augur
  • Augur may be one of the four voices.
  • Augur may be Faust. (DECONFIRMED: HE'S ACTUALLY AGAINST FAUST)
  • Don't ask what dots I'm connecting, but in general, I'm pretty sure that Augur is suspicious. We should go find him when possible.
  • Augur's power is almost certainly not just some future sight. That's one thing we can be sure about.
  • Augur may also be the mysterious "Interlocutor".
  • NEW ISSUE EDIT: still unconfirmed whether he's the interlocutor, but the Woman In Blue seems to be opposed to him.
  • Also a time traveler/AU refugee??? Assuming that he's "Oscar", who took "a device" and "ran away". Whatever that means.

Might be that the Potency is natural, and it couldn't be raised higher, but it could still expand the scope of one of her powers?

What I'm curious about is if whatever the result of Rosemary's Baby is has to be used on a 10 Candidate or if we'll be able to slot it into something more low-key.
My guess is that we'll deconstruct it into multiple medium tolerance samples, and putting it all together gets us the magical 9-keyword synergy.

Oh that's sounds like a cool way to spread Rosemary's power while still having the big F U button in case of emergencies (or madmen with their power ideas).

Cadence of the Powerpuff Girls opening:

"Cool power combination system...
Lots of lore...
And badass fights.

These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect Quest.

But Professor Bitterman accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction: ANGST.

Thus, Project Prometheus was born!"
