Honestly who knows what the red tags are. Some say it means a EXTINCTION level power, some say its the 9 keyword power sinergy and some think its something dangerous (which it totally is), Honestly at this point Rosemarys baby may be the best way to find out (and i benefit from said action) ... or... hmm... do you think SM did something to Apiary before killing her? Those two being our only examples really does not help with speculation.
 
Although if we meet a third potency 13-14 with a red keyword we might reverse engineer a connection/patern. (Im assumin SM is also a potency 13-14 because if he isnt what the hell).
 
. . .do we know how Scarlet Maturity killed Rosemary? I'd been assuming he cant empower someone without their consent based on his vibe, aesthetic, and a general sense of balance, but we dont ahave any hard proof of that
 
...yeah now that I think about it, with her whole hive-mind-backup-bodies deal, she must have come at him with everything she had in order for her to have died.

That or he did something Weird.
 
True, true. Having back up bodies does make you hard to kill if your careful (just have a body somewhere safe "in case of emergencies")
But it honestly depends.
Was it really just that much of cluster fuck that she had to use every single body?
Was that part of her power known and whatever behimd the scenes guy (its possible) told her "if you dont fight SM with ALL your bodies, well go for your much frailer friends".
Some other third thing?

Actually would a sufficently powerful psychic make killing someone with multiple minds easy? If they somehow connect to all the minds and win that would take them all out, or just cripple the mind of one of them so badly all others go braindead....

I think I could see SM having done something like punched a single body hard enough that Apiary's hive mind died from sheer pain, or there being some sort of psychic feedback that hurt them all... Or maybe that's what everyone could have assumed at the time?

Knowing what we know now, it's quite likely that SM did something funky. That man is literally the devil.

What if she tried to eat Scarlet Maturity, it killed him, he came back stronger, and punched his way out from inside her gut?

Or maybe his power includes his body? Either he revived himself and Apiary was his "latest" vicitim or maybe if he did had any part of his body inside in some form could he control his own flesh if its disconnected?
Man the more we discuss SM, the more questions come out.
 
I dunno, I'm still really interested in the Uiara one. The Interlocutor is relevant to the Ghost Dragons, Yara might be relevant to it or at least find the information in it cathartic, assuming we get another psychometric flashback, and Osayin looms large over the world.

Of course, Towarri's would finally let our characters put a name to the face of the group harassing them.

Like Black Swan's Sensitivity that let her time travel through PSI shenanigans?

Or in this case her and Ellie doing it together because of their shared sensitivity and having to deal with sorting out their crushes while watching SM murder Rosemary?

All the while John Henry is third wheeling because he got dragged in too and really just doesn't want to be there?

Damn, I hope it's a different color than Ellie's, or that her final symbol ends up integrating the sun part of the prompt.

Also I wonder if Tumblr exists in Project Prometheus's universe. Probably not, PoD was 2001 and I don't think it would live long under christofascist America, but it's funny imagining Mona having a big superhero blog and Maddie running one of those niche horror blogs (and getting into a bunch of callout posts).
