I think we could have dark green all over instead of the black, and then gold accents and a gold scarf.
Although, I wanted Yara to have green and yellow/white since I want her to have Jasmine as a name. And Menagerie Witch already has dark green among the people on our team.
@Bitterman By the way I forgot to put my candidate Jensen's neurolgical disease as Charcot- MArie Tooth. Edited it in.
In any case...... Wndering if whoever the accountant is for Ju cries at how much budgets can fluctuate.
Would recommend increasing bases now.
one small question is.... If Leizi has one half sibling could she have more? probably but what are the odds they could get powers?
For Plan Chimera is it possible to include a regeneration element? Also wondering if it culd be like Hiiragi Suune's MAg Mell frm darwin's Game
Mag Mell (常若の国(マグ・メル)) is Hiiragi Suzune's sigil. Mag Mell is a metamorphic sigil that allows Suzune to transform various body parts into that of a beast. She has been shown to transform her arms, such as creating bear arms, and used a horn on her head to sense where her opponent was. Using the...

Keep it at the original level. I want to see things go boom.
Oh yeah as a note, depending on what the third tag for the synergy Wolong has been putting together is, Red Huntress/Memoria/Daggermaw/Millions/Mr. Hunch seems primed to grab that synergy. Red Huntress' marking still feels like it has the best higher end power synergy with Memoria, Hunch helps further Memoria, Millions helps with converting energy and I hope would help with scaling, and Daggermaw provides more strength and senses to the build.
It has Clairvoyance for sure, Strength from Daggermaw, and we've been theorizing the third tag is Energy Manipulation or Enhanced Senses, which this build has both of. This just seems like one of the best options for a more combat oriented teleporter rather than a utility one and seems primed for potentially confirming the synergy at some point if we're too busy with trying to solve for psychics.
honestly i want to see some of the user suggested candidates appear more than i want high tolerance. but then most user seggestued are lik tolerance 7 which is still really good

The fact E-B fits someone with fighting skills is actually why I want noelle for it.
Homer seems nore like ans espionage char since hes surviving under anodyne while not getting even more drugged. Noelle on the other hand has been fightjng ahaisnt the Triad to keep girls under her safe she even has ops to help maintain E-B.
Homer being stuck under anodyne probably isnt conductive to gaining lots of knowledge that ops is about.
Her guerrilla tactics have made me feel it at least a little bit she would be able to push the yeah I gotta win this one to suit to get the most outta it
Great Job on the rolls everyone. Also if we managed to recruit Noelle Id prefer to have E-B online next turn.
As nice as a pyschic build is having Noelle debut as a hero against the mgs is too fitting.
As for giving yara E-B i think its a waste since her age means a cover of having natural powers for her is easy and she needs a passive protection that powers can give.
Its actually why Im willing to go with Metamorph or Chimera for her though I can uderstand wanting our psychic out immediately to guve her a psy synergy.
Isn't Yara already too old? Even if not I'm pretty sure Socialite Butterfly could find it pretty suspicious that Yara acted like she had no powers one week and then the moment she is recruited by JU she suddenly has a Potency 13 bombshell. That's just way too on the nose.
Had you gone loud and won, you would have had the option of having Handyman impersonating someone from the Triad to get the next shipment of goldnine from Monarch. As I said, there are no trap options. Just what you want to guarantee.
I appreciate everyone who gave me some help in ideas for conspiracies; it's now time for me to have more than a single character to my name, and she's all of our problems now.
Also, massive shoutouts to my former GM for not only allowing me this character but for checking my work for character accuracy.
...But Who'd Believe That? An average conversation between a conspiracy theorist and her Devilish acquaintance
You are Michiko Katou, and as of right now, winter break at school has come to a close, meaning it's back to your usual schedule of being awkwardly judged by everyone with a desk next to yours on account of being perceived as "that one kid who likes guns"... and you take a little offense to that, to be honest. They're not even real - they're just airsoft ones! What are they concerned about? You're not an American, and you've only brought them to school once when you were still in middle school! You've learned your lesson already!
But whatever - you've long since let those kinds of things brush past you. You've had to have done a lot of things right in order to make it to somewhere as illustrious as this, and that's not gonna be changing anytime soon. For now, you keep your head down and pay as much attention to class as you can muster to keep your grades nice and acceptable up until the moment it's time for lunch, and you don't have to think about all of that for at least thirty minutes.
You don't hesitate to abandon everyone else for the relative peace of the school's rooftop. It's not exactly a secret that nobody bothers to keep it locked when somebody will just pick it open again, but nobody really bothers to come up here when there's about two benches total.
Nobody except for you and a girl with green hair, fishnet stockings, spiked bracelet and choker completing a certain punk's look that you know all too well.
Name: Kimi Ichi Age: 17 Stats:
HIT 2 (She's Got A Knife!)
ESPIONAGE 5 (No Conspiracy Will Escape Her)
REPUTATION 0 (Bordering on Expulsion)
OPERATIONS 3 (Lower Grades than Michiko) Potency: N/A (Metahuman, Powers Unidentified)
Michiko's Thoughts: Kimi has... a couple of problems, if I'm being completely honest. From what she's complained to me about, she very much does not like her mom on account of her making, quoting her words directly, "Buzzfeed-level trash". She's shown me some of her articles, and I can kind of see where she's coming from. What I can't understand is how her quest to become a real investigative journalist has caused her to fall into looking into some conspiracy theories... okay, a lot of conspiracy theories. You ever see a girl set up cameras and microphones across an entire school because she thinks a 'Skinwalker' is on the loose? Because I have, and with how feisty she can end up getting sometimes regarding them, I can't help but feel she's going to end up in trouble sooner than later...
Pitchouli's Notes: Kimi Ichi was a Social Link in the same game that I played Michiko in (she was the Tower Arcana, if you need to know). Don't worry, I already got explicit permission from my GM to use her in this, as mentioned at the top. Her incarnation here remains mostly faithful to how she was within the campaign, with the relationship between her and Michiko being that Michiko is worried about Kimi getting herself into active danger as somewhat demonstrated in her thoughts above. Within the campaign, their relationship manifested as Kimi witnessed the supernatural and forced Michiko to stop her from causing a masquerade violation. Of course, Michiko knew that she wasn't just gonna let this go, and thus her worry began their "enemies to partners" arc through the course of the campaign.
...It was only as I was planning this omake that I realized Michiko is kind of a tsundere.
"Hello there, Kimi." You say as you lay your back on the lone bench next to the stairwell and fish out your cold sandwich for lunch. If you were in a good mood, Kimi is someone you'd call one of your few 'friends' here in Horizon...
"You shoot up anyone recently?"
...And if you were in a bad mood, like the one you're already starting to have, you'd say she's so wrapped up in conspiracy theories that her brain functions at half efficiency.
"I've been keeping out of trouble so far this year." You respond, ready for whatever she's going to end up throwing at you today. "What brings you up here now? Don't wanna get bothered?"
Kimi nods to you. "Better than the classroom, so long as no birds show up. You never know who's controlling them." And there we go. You roll your eyes, knowing that nobody would bother spying on either of you anyway.
"Alright... so. I think saying it's been a busy few weeks is an understatement..." You start off, unsure of how best to approach the bombshells that have been rocking Horizon in casual conversation.
"I'll say. You hear about what's going on with MAGICAL?"
"What, that offshoot of Justice Unlimited?" You lean up from your position laying down on the bench. "I'd have checked it out, but I don't think they want somebody who shoots bullets, and blue ain't my color."
"They're just fangirls, and I'm pretty sure they're not even superheroes! Nobody's seen Leizi or Black Swan ever interacting with them!"
You raise your eyebrow. "...And how does that prove anything? Why can't they just call each other?"
"Think for one second! If they were part of JU, why didn't they go to the Apiary? Why didn't they help fight Scarlet Maturity?"
...Huh. For some reason, it does seem like she's making a valid point here. "Alright... then what are they really?"
"It's all a false flag! A distraction to keep us from paying attention that the Frozen Throne is aware, and now that the Movement's killed everyone off, it's gonna start expanding for real and consume the planet! It was always faking its true power!"
Okay, now she's losing you. Who would benefit from that false flag anyway that isn't the Frozen Throne?
...But didn't the news say the Throne grew six inches overnight a few days ago? The thought sends a shiver down your spine, and for a moment, you're sitting up completely straight.
"Putting that aside for a moment..." You quickly decide to shift the subject. "...Fuck, what is happening with Justice Unlimited? First there's the magical girls, then they manage to knock down Scarlet Maturity himself, then immediately after they get accused of having messed with the Leviathan itself..."
"Obviously they're doing something shady behind the scenes when they brought up that Project Prometheus."
"I'm pretty sure they only did that because they were butthurt Scarlet Maturity got doxxed." You tease, and Kimi does appear to at least smile.
"Yeah, no doubt about that... but I think I already know what Project Prometheus is."
She's definitely bullshitting you right now, but you're morbidly curious where this train of thought is going to end. You lean forwards a little.
"...Well, goddamn. Care to share with the class?"
"Child soldiers."
It takes you a solid few seconds to process how she could've come to that conclusion, and another few to refute her point.
"Kimi... I've been trying to keep up with the scene despite everything, and I'm pretty sure that witch girl was a metahuman before joining them."
"Yeah, of course she isn't! I'm talking about Black Swan!"
"What about her? She's been a pretty typical hero-"
"Her internship was a ruse designed to train her into one! They admitted that Uiara trained her for years, remember?!"
"Kimi, that's..." You pull yourself off of the bench. You can't help but begin to rub your temples, too. "Are you literally describing a normal training program as creating child soldiers?"
"No, because they knew she would develop powers even before they inducted her into Justice Unlimited!"
"...What."
"Every scientist says that whether or not you become a metahuman is by birth, but they're clearly hiding how they know that! They can tell before you actually turn, just like Justice Unlimited did to Black Swan-"
Goddamnit, you know where she's going with this.
"-and who else would benefit from this? None other than Scarlet Maturity! He hasn't just been eating his lackeys at Powers, oh no! He's been marking and eating babies to keep himself alive, and he always has been!" Yep, exactly what you thought. She's been very attached to the idea that Scarlet Maturity eats babies ever since his real powers got leaked, which... you don't even want to think about, honestly. Just consuming normal metahumans is plenty horrifying enough, to be honest.
You can't help but sigh as you move a step closer to her. "That's… No. No, I don't think I have anything I can say to that. Honestly, it still feels like people are just out to get Justice Unlimited in my opinion. What, you make an accusation of messing with the Leviathan and your goal is just to audit them? What do they even have that isn't Project Prometheus to look at?"
"The New World Order's gotta be real scared of them to pull these many strings, that's for sure. They need Justice Unlimited gone before they can enact their master plan!"
…Huh? You haven't heard this playbook before, even though there's about eight hundred variations she could realistically pivot to here.
"Alright. What are they trying to do?"
"They know how to control everyone's minds, and Justice Unlimited are the only people they can't get under their thumb!"
Well, obviously there are mind controllers out there, so that clearly can't be the extent of the conspiracy. Better press this for details as you lean a little closer in.
"Everyone everyone?"
"Exactly! And they can do it because everything is connected!"
"...That's about the vaguest explanation I've heard from you yet. How do you mind control an entire planet?"
"They don't need to control everyone - they just need to control the source."
"The… source? Of what?"
"Everyone's connected to… something out there." Kimi continues, her fervor starting to die down a little as it becomes replaced with… concern. "I don't know it, but I can just… feel that something isn't right. That something knows about us. All of us."
You start paying attention to her. This… doesn't sound like some story that she's been pursuing after hearing it from somebody else. This sounds like Kimi is actually coming up with this story by herself… and more importantly, that she believes every single letter of it.
You look up toward the clouds. You are… not the person that should be trying to talk down people, but it's not exactly like you know of anyone else who's gonna do it up here. Especially to a girl like Kimi.
"Kimi… breathe." You ask her. She doesn't change her breathing patterns at all. So much for that attempt. "We've been through worse. We both remember Catch-22. Everyone on the fucking planet believed they were going to die when they started joining together and that pillar of energy appeared. I saw my brother's hands shaking as he called our mom to tell her how much she meant to him…"
You start to lean on the wall of the stairwell's exterior, remembering that day. Remembering one of the few times you've seen tears in your brother's eyes. "And we're still alive, Kimi. Somebody rose up and saved us. They did it with Catch-22, they did it with the Movement… and whatever it is those people behind the scenes are going to do, it'll be the same thing. One way or another, Kimi, we're gonna be fine."
For what feels like the longest time, you watch her face.
"...Tch." And that one sound makes you worried that you haven't gotten through to her. "You think that they can do something about it?"
You stare her down directly as one of your hands grips the corner of the wall. "I think everyone would want to stop something they think they can avoid… like my brother. He goes to Roswell, and every day now, I've gotta worry about that fucking GAMER-"
SLAM.
You hit the wall with your other hand, the creaking of the stairwell door and the sharp pain of punching concrete both helping to keep you grounded as just thinking about what could happen to him is evidently making your blood boil.
"...You alright there?"
"I'll be fine." You stumble a little closer to the door of the stairwell. "Besides, lunch is almost over. If you wanna talk after school's over, go hang around the hobby shop on Twelfth Street. I'm basically always there, you'll catch me sooner or later…"
And you're gone, already down the stairwell, clutching your hand with your other hand.
You've always been concerned about your brother. Why wouldn't you be? Horizon isn't exactly the safest place on earth, even before the Movement. And now, you've gotta start worrying about whatever Kimi's going to do next. It's like the girl is a ticking clock sometimes… But what isn't a ticking clock nowadays, really?
And what's the next big apocalypse gonna be that you'll need to worry about? Is the Frozen Throne finally gonna demand attention like Kimi was going on about at one point?
…Shit, maybe the real apocalypse you need to be concerned with right now is your math homework. It sounds a lot more productive to worry about those.
Well, as unfortunate as that nat 1 was, I'll just think of that as the price for our earlier nat 20. Hopefully it'd be offsetted by that 18. I also suspected that YQ was gonna be prepared for us next time we take the mission.
Speaking of, @Bitterman since we're not getting rid of them for now, does that mean we're not getting +1 OID?

You know what they say. The best lies always have a kernel of truth in them... It just happens that the actual truth can ne shifted into a Technically telling the truth.
I think I just mixed up Demon Flamez reward a bit with Major Shoujo. Well, it's good that we're now moving to get +2 OID next turn, with Demon Flamez and Third Person. While I don't have any concrete plan on how to defeat him, having someone with high OP would definitely help, I'd imagine.
Anyone know what our next big mission to fill in the slot. I don't mind inserting R-Train in there, or poach Yara/Noelle right away. Alternatively, we could also get that Abarimon mission for that additional OID control.
