Oh we just outright Rep bombed one of the main downsides of the option out of existence. The income and potential way it looks could be problems still but that's very good.
Had you gone loud and won, you would have had the option of having Handyman impersonating someone from the Triad to get the next shipment of goldnine from Monarch. As I said, there are no trap options. Just what you want to guarantee.

But now, YQ has time to plan.

Well, it's good to hear that we still would have had the potential to get goldnine if Going Loud won. As for YQ having time to plan...unfortunate, but tolerable. We've got more another new member coming in this turn, and can make more next turn, plus we'll actually have Black Swan available for the confrontation. This won't be easy I think, but we've got time to prepare as well.

*Deep Breath* Im actually ok with this. As some others have said we now have time to plan as well. We get more heroes and BS as well. Time to see how everything goes.

RNG favors us this day!

If we're lucky, we can get a Tolerance 9 Candidate we can soup up next turn and bring the hammer down on YQ. She can prepare all she wants, but 2 Potency 13 Metas, one she'll never heard of before, dropping on her head? There's very little in the way of preparing for that.

That said, I'm with the people who prefer having a high tolerance psychic of our own over EB. We really could use a psychic right now, especially since we plan on hitting 3rd Person eventually.

As an aside, this also means our entire team is going to Hero Worship completely fresh with their consumables available to them.

Her having time to plan now is expected, it'll be annoying but having John and Black Swan here while being prepped for Hero Worship makes things feel more comfortable.

Just means we probably end up with committing 5 AP to Train Kept a Rollin', Smoke on the Water, and Grand Theft Person so we prep for as easy of a turn as possible for the Fellowship. Grand Theft Person here since it'd need to be done the turn after anyway and Shroud's mission is a lot easier for us in theory, the order could swap if we have a Psychic build ready and available then to try and hard counter.

For the remaining three options (Shroud/PMMM/Reality Check), it depends on the AP costs of the followups. But PMMM is always being done, just a question of if it can pair with Shroud or Reality Check vs needing to do one of the confirmed 1 AP options instead. Or even dropping Grand Theft Person for Reality Check depending on AP cost and what the ending situation is there.

In the interest of fairness, there are a number of psychic synergies you don't know about yet, so if that's the way to go you might want to keep your powder dry on that for now.

So, regarding Noelle, obviously we'll need to tell her about our intentions to take down YQ, that should go without saying. Unfortunately, we don't know if we'll actually recruit her this turn or not. I could see it going either way, really. Regardless, once she does join us, she'll need a Spoonful of Sugar to boost her Tolerance to 10 so we can give her the E-B armor. That should all take one or two turns.

It might depend on exactly how long this quest chain is, though, so we should probably assume that Noelle won't join us until next turn at the earliest for planning purposes.

No more megucas is very good, however I absolutely want to smash her face in next turn, no excuses; we got a direct warning she will prepare for us and as a crafter the longer we wait the worse it will get.

Damn it, I was going to suggest this exact plan earlier but when it came to me I was too sleepy to post. Still, good to know I was barking up the right tree with stealing Monarch's shit. In fact why can't we do that anyway?

In terms of psychics I really want the Emotion Man build I suggested earlier. With Mental Manipulationx3 and Energy Manipulationx3 there's no way it won't be a psychic of some sort, plus Nox has a ton of tags so we might hit some good synergies by accident, and even if not I prefer a powerful psychic now over a more powerful psychic later and this combination has serious support potential.

Just saw the rolls... we've been done good this time. You rollers are heroes.

Now I assume the dice gods will punish us next time for good luck. Let us prepare for suffering.
