He can't lie about it; that's part of his power. He would have disclosed information . . . what it would have been is unknown now.

Possible, but I wouldn't bet on it. Earthen Owl was there to gather more manpower, or monsterpower in this case, for Powers.I think it's safe to assume that Faust talked with Earthen Owl right after we whooped his ass and got the info from him. Earthen Owl is on the list of "Known contractors", after all.
...do you think they were snooping around a known Ibis base in the hopes that some of his research could further their goals?
I would guess Noelle at 9, because currently she is hostile to Justice Unlimited and will have to be persuaded to join. Yara we are naturally going to help as part of Uiara's questline, and so she will be easier to convince.Assuming that the 10 is the boy, and his drawback is helping him with his addiction, do you think Noelle is the 8 and Yara the 9 or vice-versa?
I just realized if we're dong Petit Prince, that's an argument to have a mass teleporter.
Oh, there would have been a way [to defeat Scarlet Maturity]. Potency 13 is potency 13 in any form.
All are signs that using that combo would probably be very useful down the line, especially for situations like the Petit Prince thing that you mentioned and also escapes from bigger enemies back over to the Apiary. (Leviathan, SM, Frozen Throne)Memoria's main ability is teleportation; his clairvoyance is mostly to assist that. His power is more likely to focus on movement than remote knowledge.
Going over things a bitFeel free to tell me if I missed anything. Speaking generally, I think it will be most useful if we go for builds that bring exotic powers or unique team roles to the table (e.g. aiming for something distinct from pure big hit hero when Black Swan exists).
- All-in Clairvoyance: A plan for a homegrown Augur with some kind of substantial precognition. Failing that we get an oracle for operations and preferably a potent sensor for scrying enemy movements. Maybe we can get back at Lantern for spying on us.
- Zeno builds: Spacetime powers almost always fall into the lap of final boss characters, and now we have the unique opportunity to have one on our side. In general lockdown powers are very strong if they can disable the enemy's trump cards and give us time to divide and conquer the remaining opponents.
- Red Huntress builds: Specifically built around the mark target ability, the idea is specialize in hunting down quarries and being the ultimate 1v1 duelist.
- Defy Together: All Defiance Unit heroes beside Zeno and Soldier X, plus an extra. The goal is a power copier, and failing that we combine combat powers with some teleportation and clairvoyance and whatever synergies arise.
- Chimera: The form that Mona might've taken in a parallel world. The ultimate shapeshifter with all the utility that brings, plus the option to turn into a giant dragon.
I'm still a fan of getting John to 6 so he can be on his mission and giving him Chatroom/Bulwark/+1 {Millions or Soldier X} for our main Bulwark option. It gives good synergy with Chatroom, gives John and our heroes extra methods of defending themselves early besides just Opale, and should lean into his top stat in Ops. Millions would be for trying to feed energy to the shields while Soldier X would be about getting John's body itself to peak human condition for the +1 power. For me I want to give a Yara Power with Bulwark and Steadfast in it. Should give us Powerful barriers at Potency 13 and make sure yara cant be killed easily and keep all our Heroes safe.
That just means having our shields ready before the Chaos appears again. Potency 13 still need to grind and gain exp to use their powers at their fullest as shown by BS hell even SM needed to grind to reach his level ambrosia is a bit of cheat in Fully mature powers but still need to hone them. The thing is, we've been told that Scarlet Maturity or things on his level are not going to be on the table for the near future. We're in a calm, expanding and rebuilding, sandbox-y phase presumably before Stockpile and PREVAIL roll up for the midgame.
Huh? Bulwark could shroud any person or object he could hit with a beam in a forcefield that would disperse after enough impact damage or over a period of time, while having Energy Manipulation and Ally Empowerment. Chatroom could telepathically connect people within hundreds of yards, while having Clairvoyance and Ally Empowerment.Eh my problem with that is apart from ally enpowerment Bulwark and Chatroom powers dont really mix to me.
Also I prefer to have our shileder belong to an S class cause QM has shown the sheer difference between A class and Potency 13.
If we dont want anyone to die we need the shields at the max possible power.
Knowing what we now know, and putting aside that Apiary was the only Potency 14 metahuman we know about, that must mean that, she probably either forced him to collect or came extremely close."Despite what you may think of me," Scarlet Maturity rumbles, "I do have my regrets about Apiray's death. She was something of a kindred spirit."
Fair enough but I still prerfer a teleporter since thats another way to keep people safe and give us additional option.Huh? Chatroom could telepathically connect people within hundreds of yards, while having Clairvoyance and Ally Empowerment.
The only other power we have that has Ally Empowerment is Nephthys, so there is already a synergy there with frankly not that many alternatives tag wise. And otherwise, even if there isn't any ability to not need line of sight to beam someone anymore due to Chatroom (shielding through the connection instead) or even Millions (by using one of the mines to imbue it instead), it would be possible to get someone to move positions to be quietly shieldable rather than having to yell for them to get into position.
Even without the tag there is a solid synergy here in my eyes, it gives us another protection source besides Opale so the protection can be spread around between missions, and it fits with John's stat spread well. Plus like has been said, we're in a startup period right now before we can make a lot of the main powerhouses. This build would help with protecting our investments while getting up to steam.
I suppose my question is, with John's expected tolerance being 6 when setting him up if trying to have a teleporter for the Yara mission, what do you pair it with for John's build here. You'd have 5 points to work with and I struggle seeing what a good build with 6 tolerance involving Memoria looks like. In many ways it feels like a power that needs more to stand on its own directly in a battlefield than Bulwark or Chatroom, despite them all being support oriented powers.Fair enough but I still prerfer a teleporter since thats another way to keep people safe and give us additional option.
While I want to us to have a S class shielder to lower risk of death as much possibel what we need right now is the tactical options that Teleportation gives us I feel. Since while Bs fighting SM was cool as hell and got her lots of gains she wouldnt have needed to fight him if we could have just ported away from Balthazar.
Nox can get auto biokinesis with 8PNox and Red Huntress are in this zone where they have enough tags to justify how high their Potency is, but because of it, they need to be guided towards a specific end by smaller samples, and it's guaranteed that not everything will make the cut.
It was factored into character creation. It's where ESPIONAGE 9 came from.BTW QM I did a retead of the thread and Handymans espionage Stat already has his +1 bonus from being already plugged in to Leizi networrk right?
I can't quite make this canon, but I loved it! +1!
