Ah, it's Eve, isn't it? The technopath who only communicated with Justice Unlimited through robots and now nobody knows where she actually is. That's why all the satellites and such were beaming energy to Black Swan during her power-up!
 
Eve came to help us so it's great to know that she's ok but it seems like she doesn't want to be found... Hopefully that just means she's in big trouble and not that she doesn't want to reunite (⁠´⁠;⁠︵⁠;⁠`⁠).

Anyways yeah Dominion is probably led by the 3rd voice (deluded and unearned). Uuuuugh they suck making everything out be the Justice Unlimited's fault just because we're the only remaining bastion of actual goodness left. New crack theory they must be the reason why Valkyrie went psycho because they have been trying to carefully dismantle any notion of heroism from the world. That's why most other big 'hero' groups suck ass.

I think, and this is a very broad guess, the problem is whatever the fuck the EXCEED suit is tapping into.

If Not!SEELE is pissed it's because someone learned about the Not!Evangelion bullshit that was outside their purview.

We know about Leviathan, but who knows what else is out there? Nora did, or at least was probably getting there, but she's dead now and she left everything to us to figure out.

The problem with being in a super hero setting, there's always a CADMUS, there's always and ILLUMINATI, there's always a CAULDRON.

We've just been lucky enough to see ours coming.
 
I went back and checked Towarri's posthumous video message.

Her tattoo, mark, was a star.

So, here's my call:

Each of these guys-Faust/Crown-Over-Moon, Lantern, Star, Sun, Key, Hand, Fish, possibly Speaker as well-is a cell leader.

That means that Star was Towarri's trainer, boss, surrogate father, whatever.

Faust is the outward PR guy, the head of Dominion. Lantern is the spymaster. Star was the child soldier mill.

Stockpile's fucked though, he's drinking deep of Rebound so he can apparently mass produce the EXCEED armor, because somehow it's Justice Unlimited''s fault that Justicar is dead I guess? The fact her bosses ordered her--a back line support type--to fistfight a god kaiju doesn't matter.

I guess when one side seems to have a monopoly on all the Psychic Bullshit, memory modification and just general psyops are to be expected.

I still feel bad for the kid. I'm glad we took the path we did, Opale and Maddie are good to have, and Wolong seems like a good guy, but... my heart breaks for him. He's going to die of dementia and wasting away for an imperialist project orchestrated by a cult of some sort.
 
Well, I see what the GM meant when he said that we'd have plenty of long-term issues. Still, I'm happy with the choices we made, all things considered. I think we can handle the problems we'll be facing. We'll just need some help.
 
Nah they use the fact exceed taps into backstage to convince its VS fault leviathan woke up. When it was probably the illuminati with VS learning their play and prepping

Edit: We have 3 high tolerance candidate in the wings to easliy vuff to T10. One is fore Exceed Beyond and 2 more we hopefully we can bring to monas level.

Thankfully wukong means easier way to learn synergies. So we can make sure we dont fuck up.

Im probably going with Yara having Invulnerability though we need to mitigate risk of her death as much as we can.

I think Stockpile thinks we're the reason why the Leviathan started to wake up. He probably thinks it's cause of Nora's EXCEED armor messing things up with the Stage. He blames us for Justiciar and Global Justice's downfall.
 
What an update, it's one of those that leave me wide-eyed and unsure because that is a lot to absorb in one read.

Very glad Hypernovae won the initial vote. Much as I love the idea of Mona as a dragon sitting atop a hoarde of superhero merch, I don't think a dragon could have won against Scarlet Maturity.

Regarding Stockpile, don't be too harsh on him. He's a desperate, impressionable teen being fed lies by people who want to use him. There's a lot we'll need to fix and a avalanche of problems slowly rolling towards us, but that's what being a superhero is like! We'll just have to take it one step at a time.
 
Two absolutely minor notes:

1. Is Scarlet Maturity's full civilian name known, or was learning that his given is "Christian" new info for Leizi?

2. I checked our DNA and while I know that accidental name reusage happens, there's another Christian in there-it was Daggermaw's name, too.

It's more "We are still in week two, we had an awesome fistbump moment... But it didn't really do much aside from extricate ourselves from a trap (One we knew was one and that we walked into knowingly at least), and then having the parade of People We Failed To Help at the end kind of put a damper on things.

His full civilian name is common knowledge: Christian Marlow.

And I don't subscribe to the one Steve Limit!
 
Yeah we just gotta think positive and see all these poor deluded people being thrown at us as RECRUITMENT OPPORTUNITIES. Once we fix their problems ala shonen style and show ourselves to be actual good guys they will gladly point themselves to the real bad guys.

So Towarri had Dominion subplot and Nora had the Leviathan subplot, what subplot did Yazmin have?

This update was really a blast to read, but. If what we've seen in only week two is normal than I think we pretty much have to munchkin this. We need more Potency 13 heroes yesterday, and if time travel is possible in this setting I mean that literally.
