It's done. The longest chapter of this story is finally done.

This is one of the trickiest thing's I've ever written. Both because of subject matter and the complexity of the fights.

There's a lot more to say, but my brain is fried. Special thanks to @Derpmind for her help with parts of this update.

This update brought to you by wild dice.

Anyway should we attack SM with our speed or match hes regen by going to space?

I fee like fighting SM in space could actually let us win by trapping him for a type there, but i can see a realivistic attack working as well

Also that was an awesome chapter. Opale is a goddess, MW is awesome (and need terapy), HM is going to give us a heart attack one of these days, LL is a badass as always and Mona just took several levels of badass.
Now the most important decision is upon us.... which choice is the pie?

Speed sounds great. Black holes are all about relativistic effects.
Yeah I like the lightspeed choice as well. Call it the sonic fan in me but I want a Light Speed Attack / Arrow of light moment.
Edit: And hey speed is a part of time anyways and with Monas Psychic time travel I think she qualifies for a bit of spacetime shenanegry.

... Yeah, there's something weird going on. Scarlet Maturity is attacking the only part of Black Swan that matters, and he shouldn't know that.

But it's also the one spot he can't do any damage to whatsoever, because while he's absurdly, ludicrously strong... He's not "Can split a supermassive black hole" strong.

So why's he going for it?

Also, we confirmed too. "It's some tactile telekinesis type thing", his pants aren't being shredded.

Actually, good question, has Scarlet Maturity's clothes been damaged at all despite the fact that Black Swan's been hitting him with some frankly ridiculous hits? @Bitterman ?

It does mean BS is tapped out though and we need to hope its enough to atleast incapacitate SM.

Though we know SM has regen but is it storong enough to keep him going without air?

God, I am so amped up for calling it.

And I was going to make a joke about getting bonuses to relevant Operations/Espionage checks for good detective work/being correct in theorizing!

Ok, so this choice has been described as us choosing between cake and pie. My guess is that either way, Scarlet Maturity's out of this fight. But, only of them has the potential to actually kill him. The question is, which one is it?

His shirt is gone. And that failed OPS check means Mona doesn't know what's up. -_-

I Homestly think he can survive both technically... no way were taking him out this early... a fly to space moment or a light speed moment, both are cool but I cant tell whats the pie here. Im leening towards light speed.

Hmm, shame. I do think that's a hint though.

This guy survived King, didn't he? Mister "I can just turn off the Nuclear Forces, both of them, and your atoms lose cohesion anf fly apart". Is that correct @Bitterman ? He fought the guy and didn't die, when King actually tried to do something back at him?

Joking aside though... As I said, it's some tactile telekinesis thing he's doing apparently, rather than him physically being that strong. I Think the key then is going to be "We can't kill you, but we can definitely put you in time out for a while."

It'd be swell if we could figure out which one is the one Bitterman said would be cooler :(

Something about SM's comment about Mona being a 'faster novalight' makes me want to vote for fighting above the atmosphere.

Yes. King eventually quit the fight when he realized what was going on. Depending on your choices, you might get a hint at that.

Welp, as much as I would love to contimue speculatijg its 11:50 pm for me amd I have assigments to do so see ya tomorrow if I dont feel like a zombie!

Hmm we know Steadfast can survibe in outerspace/underwater so it kinda feels like not needing to Breath is an Invulnerability power.

Now mechanically Invulnerability is about being incapacitated instead of death. While regen is about recovering HP.

Considering SM strenght Im pretty sire no one has managed to send hin to space yet. And while strong regen to move can work, thats usually at the cost of spending power to make up for it.

Which gives me the feeling that Old plan of Trapping sm in space where he cant breath or really move is better
