[X] . . . go through. You have a hyper-dense core. You have enough juice for one light speed dash. Can he survive a direct hit at relativistic speeds? Let's find out.

I'm just curiousand want to see what happens.

More importantly, we're not actually... Hitting him with a metahuman power.

Specifically, we're using Physics on him. "Heavy object going Really Fast does Big Damage".

That also minimizes his ability to deduce anything, which is already frightening given how he somehow determined that she was Novalight+ from a few seconds to minutes of battle.

The thing is, I don't want to test against his most iconic superpower (The fact nothing ever sticks to him), and I don't want to spend any more time locking horns with him in case he's actually a power vampire (Which would explain why he keeps going for her core). Full impact kinetic burst, we either go Through him and learn something, or he tanks it and gets punted through the universe.

He's good, but if he's "Can tank a relativistic supermassive black hole" good, we might as well give up right now.

But yeah, this is a point that's been seeded several times in the narrative already that Black Swan's flight speed is insanely cracked, this feels like the right thing to lean into, rather than leaning into our opponent's baliwick.

[X] . . . go up. You will regenerate faster outside of the Earth's atmosphere. You can survive the vacuum of space. Can he?

If Scarlet Maturity could die to suffocation or vacuum, he'd probably be dead already. But even with his super-strength, enough to literally propel himself through space, being stranded in space will not be fun. Maybe Mona can chuck him at the Moon and hope he doesn't chuck the Moon back at her.

The problem is, with nobody observing him, Shell Game can just bring him back.

It was mentioned back in 1.3 that Mona started copying Novalight's battle tactics. Scarlet Maturity fought her enough to recognize them.

Shell Game has to have a rough idea where they are.

If he's able to propel himself through space, it's not Super Strength, it's Tactile Telekinesis.

You need a significant amount of matter to interact with to move in space. If he's still basically punching the vacuum and moving, then it's just showmanship, he doesn't need it at all.

Now, for the choice at the end of this update... both of them are tempting, I'll admit. Ultimately, I'm agreeing that enhancing our Flight is probably the better option here. If Scarlet Maturity can survive King's Nuclear Forces manipulation, then just choking him out probably isn't going to be enough to get rid of him. So trying to knock him out of the battlefield far FAR away seems like the better option. Plus, staying in close contact with the guy who has tactile telekinesis doesn't seem like the best idea. At least this way we're just as likely to get Black Swan away from him.

yeah butdoesn't Dominion have access to satellites o rspace telescopes? it wuld might take a week t a month and a few favors to some space capable metahumans but he would be back in a matter of time.

But you're more concerned with collateral damage. Scared of hurting anyone. That alone has lost you this battle." He rears back one arm and makes a fist. "That won't do. Let's change the venue.
in Powers' territory
I see he Just Wants A Good Fight and could care less about Powers?

Is that the real you I see?" His eyes glitter with a greedy light that makes you want to hide under your covers and not come out until your mom makes you.
Experience or something more esoteric?

And given The Stage exists, we should be more concerned about this so...

Surely if suffocation worked on him we've have gotten rumours of that by now - Hiver + some kind of vacuum power would be good enough to kill him.
And as for Shell Game, we don't actually know if it has a range limit / requires Shell Game to know where the other party is?

The point is putting him in time out for a while. There's probably a lot of people they've pissed off who'll be glad to take advantage of Scarlet Maturity being punted into space for a week.

Didn't Bitterman already say it wasn't going to get meta after my blunder with the doll flashback where I forgot Nora was named in it? Someone floated that the dolls were us manipulating the heroes, and he was like "No, it's not going to be anything like that"?

I mean, he was throwing 50-megaton haymakers at Black Swan without annihilating the city or the air, and the very fact that he can throw those kind of punches from a human body is proof enough that Metahumans don't really obey the laws of physics. Heck, where the hell did Mona gain all that weight in the first place? Which galaxy did she eat to make her core so heavy?

In the end, Metahumans trump, well, reality. Which is why Silver Valkyrie's specialization was so terrifying. And considering Scarlet Maturity wanted access to her labs and equipment, he probably had a good idea of her focus.

Even if it's just (physics defying) Super Strength, he could probably spit hard enough to make it back to Earth as long as he knew where to aim (or just break his arm and then use that for Newton's Third Law?

Wait sorry might just be really dumb here but I just want to clarify (^~^;)ゞ. Going through is an attack right? It seems like a type of attack that's going to split him in half type of thing while the go up thing is to specifically bring him to space to put him into to time-out as it were (and hopefully starve or suffocate him)?
