... This is pretty obvious a detail, but I think St. John's father put out a hit on his son. Question is, how did Johnathan get a hold of someone who can block magic?

Happy to see a new chapter. A bit confused as to how Bullseye managed to secure the courthouse so completely. It seems really out of character/scope. Some kind of cell phone blocker, sure, and cutting landlines is vaguely reasonable but the fire alarms and blocking even magical communication really doesn't make sense to me.

I can see Noa getting lessons on the Teleportation spell.
if it would have worked before, it would have been a Lot easier to get away.

I personally suspect that the man who appears to be Jonathan is actually someone with a sufficiently sophisticated disguise.
Maybe. But here's the question that poses: If Jonathan isn't who he says he is, then why did they still kill the ADA? There was clearly a body double selected, without the double being aware of it*, and put into that position so an assassin would be drawn out. But with a man on the inside signaling to his colleague(s), why did they still fall for the trick?

*Unless we're going full-bore Marvel Madness and the ADA was never actually a person and just a realistic robot. Or a magic disguise. Or a clone.

Honestly my question is what the hell is his motive supposed to be? I mean I get that he looks suspicious but there's no sane reason that comes to mind for him to do that.

There are parts of the United States where there's... an old-fashioned expectation. Of the man of the house not letting the people he's supposed to be in charge of ruin the family reputation. Sometimes this is done by disowning and running the kid out of town with nothing but a suitcase and the clothes on their back. Sometimes the kid can be beaten into publicly conforming. And at times, it has escalated into being resolved by a gun.

Gay teens have a very good reason to fear coming out to their parents: It can and has ended in them being murdered by their own family. And since being Gay and being a Mutant are intertwined in both Marvel and this story, I think that during the time St. John was in hiding, his dad was contacted by a mutant-genocide extremist group who wanted his son dead, and he came around to their way of thinking.

Okay so just to be clear. People suspect him because Conservation of Narrative Detail/ Some Chekov's Gun kinda thing around his tapping?

Thats not bad, I agree its probably going to be something.
I'm just making sure theres no Marvel lore/storyline you all know about that I don't, or a clue from a previous chapter that I forgot? Some kind of concrete or less meta evidence.

Maybe SHIELD was on the ball and chose a LMD as the double

Bullseye makes complete sense. He's an assassin and this is all political. Not sure if Matt can no-sell projectiles yet but at least they guy's in Daredevil's radar.

Man the tension and shock were very well done.

For those who hadn't been paying attention, though – I got a HUGE veterinary scare regarding my dog, and was absolutely convinced that she had weeks left to live, maybe a month.

Then a second opinion told me that no, she would probably be fine, but she DID have a nasty infection and needed surgery to remove a rotten tooth. That surgery was two weeks ago and... whoa. My god. My. God. Holy hell. She's basically a whole new dog.
Threats to your domesticated beast are well known to give insanity points, so it's 100% understandable. Glad to hear she's okay, though!
