I feel like we should discuss everything, really. It's not like there's a time limit, and we have to resolve these things eventually.

[X] Ask about her feelings toward the three girls first
[X] Ask what she thinks about yesterday's events.
-[X] And if she still blames herself
--[X] Deploy hugs, obviously.

Ehh, it's breakfast, let's keep it simple.

[X] Ask about her feelings toward the three girls first

Well I specifically want to ask about girls first because they are the lighter topic, then proceed to the heavier one.

Question: in Yuma's experience, does Kyoko get very annoyed when someone tries to discuss anything serious during breakfast? Cause OOC I know I do.

[X] Ask about her feelings toward the three girls first

I also kind of want to have us tease her about kissing Homura and how maybe that's not the best way to go about wooing Sayaka, but I don't know how to best word that into a post. Does anyone else want to take a crack at it?

[X] Just make idle chitchat.

I see I'll be writing the Dissenting Opinion, so to speak. I really don't see much fundamental value in hitting the same topics again; I really doubt that Kyouko's opinion on the others has changed over the course of sleeping, to be honest, and I feel like the previous day's events are just going to be an emotional mess that I really don't think that she needs to deal with when she wakes up.

Sometimes it's good to just let people chill.

Kyoko sits down at the table, awaiting your impeccable service with a sleepy smile. You put the plate down in front of her, and the two of you lick your lips as you prepare to dig in.
For some reason I instantly read this as:
Kyoko sits down at the table, awaiting your impeccable service with a sleepy smile. You put the plate down in front of her, and the two of you lick your plates clean as you finish devouring breakfast.
My brain just figured there was gonna be an ommited scene there, a black spot in Yuma's and Kyouko's personal memories during which something happened to the sandwiches, but whatever it was, happened so fast, the moments in time that were "before eating" and "after eating" joined together, leaving the girls confused as to how the food had teleported to their stomachs, and feeling sorrow that the only taste they'd get of it was whatever they could lick off the empty dishes.

Then I read that again, which was the work of two seconds, but I totally imagined all that first.

Yeah, it is simple, just cheese and egg sandwich. :V

Shipping. Shipping must continue on.

As an adult, I wholeheartedly agree with your line of reasoning, and were this Serious Adult Relationships Quest I'd be inclined to change my vote.
But Yuma is not a serious adult. Yuma wants to get Big Sis a girlfriend, and as someone voting from the perspective of a small child I think asking her about the other girls, especially after her disastrous attempt to woo Sayaka by kissing another girl, is well-warranted in her mind.

Like it's ironic because I sometimes cry at how rare IC votes can be (though to be fair plenty of non-IC votes on both ends :V), but at the same time I kind of flip-flop in Madoka quests due to their nature, and I really think that the best thing to do is give Kyouko a little space to think things out; a lot of stuff happened yesterday that she really needs to digest, and I think that Yuma asking her about it will be counter-productive to her figuring anything out. In terms of characterization moving forward it seems like the best option, in terms of avoiding Kyouko having to redeal with things she isn't ready to do yet, it's the best option.

I could justify it ICly I think but I'd be working backwards and that doesn't lead to sound logic. I think we'll just be agreeing to disagree on this one.

[Q] Grill Big Sis Kyouko
-[Q] Sooooo. Did she like kissing that weird girl attached to Homura's Hair? How was it?

Reordered tapkomet 's vote, since I prefer to end on a more lighthearted note.

You read it right the first time, they just eat breakfast that fast. :V

You know, seeing it now I almost think that
[Q] Grill Big Sis Kyouko

would be more in-character for Yuma than what either of us want. It's silly, lighthearted, and seems like exactly the sort of thing our Yuma would say to keep things not-serious.

You might want to change the "first" in the girls vote to "afterwards" then. Or just remove it.

You're welcome. :V

I'm sure Lord Chungus will come up with something at least as funny, tho.

On some level I think consistently choosing completely proper IC choices for Yuma would make the quest go even weirder places. :V

That having been said, I'll let the Shoulder Angel win I guess.

Don't tempt me with a good time. I'd be 100% down for Yuma's Bizarre Adventure, just so long as Walpurgisnacht doesn't do anything to Homura's fabulous hair when she affixes her head atop its owner's body.

Drop the smilie, the idea sounds very appealing with how the quest has been so far

I mean the tone and general content have been great, the thing is that if anything the choices have basically been a moderating influence on her, given how she is typically depicted. And the level of high-energy zaniness I'm thinking of is fun for a while, but does tend to run thin after a few updates without some degree of balance for me.

I'd be more concerned about Homura's hair witching out and becoming The Witch of Dramatic Flips.
