Well, maybe we should tell Madoka the best way to deal with the awkward is to just go through the awkward.

Maybe it has less to do with Homura and more with any long haired girl? Like, someone Wished that long hair will be considered the epitome of beauty. :thonk:

Somehow this got me thinking of the Hero from The Property Of Hate. I'm not sure why.

I don't 100% feel like "dress" would be the best descriptor for it. It's got long sleeves with cuffs and a buttoned collar. I've seen dresses with sleeves before, but never ones with a buttoned collar or cuffs. I think "blouse" would be more appropriate than "dress".

Having compared 'Blouse' to 'whatever Yuma's thing is that she wears': Yeah, that looks roughly blouse-ish to me. But I could very well be wrong, for I am a man and women's fashion has ever remained a mystery to me.

For the purpose of avoiding misunderstandings, perhaps we shouldn't be so fixated on Madoka being cute? Does anyone have a reason to rule out Madoka suspecting Kyoko has a crush on her if we go that route? We're trying to ship Madoka with Homura, not Kyoko.

We're trying to ship everyone with everyone, and don't you forget it.

Besides, Madoka thinking Kyouko is attracted to her can only be a good thing in my book. The girl has self-esteem of a doormat. Or even Shinji Ikari.
 
Hey everyone. In the interest of not getting your hopes up too much when you get the alert, Imma try to keep this as short as possible.

In a sentence, Mami Said Knock You Out is going on hiatus. For the past while, my motivation for writing this has just been… well, not usually non-existent, but hard to conjure up. I didn't suddenly lose motivation, like I did with PMSF, but I haven't really been wanting to write MSKYO. More and more, it's been feeling like something I have to do, not something I want to do. I don't have any ideas for MSKYO anymore, no scenes that I want to write out.

So, MSKYO is going on hiatus. It's not dead, I don't think, but for the foreseeable future I'm not going to be updating it. I may very well come back to it in the future, but I'm not sure.

Honestly, I can safely say that deciding to sit down and write this quest was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Hearing people's reactions, reading the wonderful omakes (seriously, @Onmur, @Raiseth, @Broken Base, and @Anann, you're all amazing), and just the idea that people are debating and laughing because of something I wrote has been amazing. MSKYO was the first major writing project I did, and, at around 59k words, it's the most I've ever written for one story.

Overall, I'd say that MSKYO has been a success, and I'd like to thank everyone who read and voted and commented and even just dropped a like. You've been my motivation to continue for a while now, so just remember that, as a reader, you are automatically a writer's favorite person.


Now that that's said, I've got another announcement to make. I haven't just given up on writing, of course, so I'd like to announce my new quest!

Throne Quest, Or It's Not Usurping If You Usurp A Usurper, is starting now. It's got original characters and everything, though it's set in a fantasy setting I'm rather fond of. I plan on finishing it, this time, so remember to drop by and check it out!
