Well, she's lying, but is it because she doesn't want to reveal her time stop, or her knowledge of the loops?

We might be able to stun the Familiars, then back off to let the witch eat them?

Thought: Depending on how tight the corridor is, Kyouko's lattice barrier could be super useful.

Could force the familiars to group up so Yuma can smash them?

If it's tight enough, she could just block off the entire corridor, and let the witch catch up to them and eat them. Of course, we don't know for sure if the witch will attack the familiars or not.

Edit:
Also, holding the familiars back so Kyouko can stab them. I'm pretty sure her barriers have holes in them, so she could probably stab through the gaps.

If we are surrounded, that just means we can attack in any direction!

But seriously, I realize it's a somewhat risky plan. The idea that familiars are running away is a bit of a long shot. But hey, at least if they attack us as we're hugging the wall, it will naturally concentrate them for our AoE abilities. And anyway, far-fetched ideas is what you get when you let an 8-year-old plan your tactics.

Yuma is no mere eight years old.

She's had to grow up really quick, what with having to babysit Kyouko. :V

So what you're trying to say is that Yuma is tired of responsibility, and her primary reason for shipping Koko with Seykuu is an overt desire to shift responsibility of caring for Kyouko on some poor sucker?

What if we can find a way to sublet their care to another? Can we dupe some youngin' into wishing to revive Mami, then offload our responsibilities onto her?

Problem! Madoka likes Homura's hair; it's the reason she takes such good care of it. If we turn Homura and her hair against one another, then sooner or later Madoka is going to be caught in the crossfire, and thus made an exploitable target for Kyubey. This, in turn, will only cause Homura and her hair to reunify for the cause of preventing Madoka from contracting.

And then we're back to the original problem.
