You decide that tomorrow the two of you are going to have to leave. Nice as it is to have the protection of the spirit, you'll feel better when you are on the move again. It always made you antsy to stay in one place for too long, probably something to do with your house-hopping ways. Regardless, you just wanted to keep away from whatever thing was arriving in this area, and you'd already lingered for too long as it was. You'll stay here for the night, then once the sun rises, you'll bid the spirit goodbye and make your way north, closer to the border.
You'd heard that it was supposedly being reinforced, though you didn't know why. Still, it should take them at least a month before they can actually do that, seeing the vast amount of distance that it covers. If you move quickly you should be able to cross without issue.
Plans secured, you look down to where you sister is still burrowing into your warmth. She looks much more comfortable and at peace than she did earlier, you suppose that the talk you'd had went a long way in easing her mind, good thing you caught it early. Still, her insistence on you using magic on her was worrying, especially because you knew how stubborn she could be. You couldn't afford to stop practising with your magic, but you'd have to keep a close eye on Una while you were doing so, let she do something inadvisable.
She was normally an intelligent girl who listened when you told her not to do things, knowing is was for her own good. You really aren't sure why she was being so insistent this time. You should probably get to the bottom of this before it becomes a serious issue, you can't have her ignoring your commands in the middle of an emergency or something like that. It was for her own good.
You poke her until she sleepily opens her eyes from where she was cuddling into your stomach, basking in the heat you radiated at the moment. When you had her attention, you gently bop'd her on the head and started softly.
"Una, why are you so insistent to have me use magic on you?" This is something you really need to work out.
She groans a little as you push her to sit up, off of your warm body. Though she turns to look at your seriously after a moment.
"It was... amazing. You were just there. It felt like you were hugging me and keeping me warm and protecting me from everything." She takes a long breath. "I knew what you were thinking and how you felt. It was... special."
To be honest, when you reflected back at the time. You felt the same. You'd felt her love for you, how safe she felt in your presence and her utter joy at being connected to you in such a way. It was such an innocent thing, her in a way that words didn't properly describe. And truthfully, you had loved that feeling, the connection you'd had in that moment was special in a way beyond words. But, you'd already seen your lack of control and how dangerous it was, you didn't want to see your failure break such a precious thing.
A sigh. "I understand what you mean Una, but it's too dangerous to use right now. Sure, I might have managed it for the moment then, but if something had gone wrong it would have been..." You had thought about a lot of things that could have gone wrong in that moment. You really didn't want to think about that though and just continued staring your sister straight in the eyes.
"Until I gain control of my magic that I feel confident in, you will not interrupt any training I do or get in the way of anything dangerous. You are going to have to wait, and that is only if I manage to do so. Do you understand me?"
You state with utmost seriousness, you need her to understand your position on this. It's not something you are willing to bend on in the slightest.
After several long seconds, she lowers her head a little and nods, looking slightly dejected. "I understand Cerys."
The words took a weight off of your back instantly. Una would never lie to you and she had always kept her word whenever she made it. Seeing that she was looking a little down at your talk, you reached over and grabbed her. She let out a little squeak as you dragged her back into your arms before she started snuggling into your warmth straight away. Seeing that the sun was just about setting and you wanted to get moving tomorrow, you decide to get an early night.
Snuggling back into the sheets beneath you, you smile. Though she was silly at times and very energetic. You were so very proud of how she acted when it was time to be serious. She was quiet, listened carefully and was serious when needed. Really, you couldn't have asked for a better sister, she was just right as she was, you never wanted her to grow up. You could protect her forever this way.
With those thoughts floating around, you slide into sleep, much more relaxed than you had been before.
(Cerys Health: 96 + 15 = 100)
When you wake, the sun still hasn't risen, though after you check the camp slight runners of light are peeking over the horizon. You move around the clearing and try your best to set everything back the way it was. You have some success, you manage to hide the temperature manipulation you'd done but the marks the tent had left wouldn't go away and there was far to many pieces of the branch to hide them all. Still, once you'd gathered as much fruit from the trees around you and moved it into your bags, at least three or fours days worth, longer if she skipped eating for Una.
Everything was as packed as it could be without waking your sister, so once the sun was just peeking over the horizon you did so. She grumpily helped you collect all of the spare clothes in the tent and pack them up, then much more cheerfully the tent itself, having finally woken up. Once you have everything, you check your direction with your compass and move to say goodbye to the spirit. It sends back feelings of enjoyment, perhaps for the company? And it sends you images of you leaving the forest, then setting it on fire? It wants you to set it on fire after you leave?
It sends back feelings of conformation, and when you inquire about any people who are still inside the forest it replied with assurance. You have no reason to doubt that the spirit was capable of keeping anyone who wandered in safe, so you grab your things and start moving north.
On the way you decide to try and practice some of your magic. It was difficult to do so while walking, but you suppose if you are every going to use it in a fight, you'll need to be able to control your magic while moving. Otherwise that would make you far too easy a target.
Since it is the simplest, you try to just expand the reach of your temperature sensing.
(Cerys: 71 + 5 Control = 76)
This goes better than you had expected. There isn't really any difficulty in expanding how far you can sense temperature, though if you go too far then it starts becoming difficult to focus on all of the different temperatures at the same time. It is actually while you are doing this that you notice your first animal. You had forgotten that the spirit had been keeping them away. A hour into the trip gains you the knowledge of just how many animals there were in a forest.
No matter where you were, with your range stretched out to a hundred metres or so, you could always sense at least two or three animals around you. Little bundles of heat that skitter around the forest every which way. With your sense guiding you, it really isn't that difficult to see and point out the various different animals to Una as you pass them by.
You had sensed a big mass of heat in the distance, but it had never approached you, only stayed where it lay. You had guided Una around it, trying to get a look as you kept your distance. All you had managed to see was a glimpse of an enormous brown thing covered in fur before you had taken Una's hand and sprinted away until it left your sense, expanded to at least three hundred metres as you tried to keep track of it specifically.
Still, with the success of using your thermal sense, you decide to try and keep it at about fifty metres while practising a different sort of magic. It was a little hard, but after a while it kind of seemed to... click into place. Then there wasn't any real strain in keeping it extended as it was.
Early warning system gained, you decide to move on to something else that you should be able to do while mobile. You reach out and snag a branch from nearby dying tree. You worry about it for a moment before you remember that the spirit wanted you to burn things, and continue on with your plan.
Last time, you had managed to figure out, barely, how to both ignite something and keep it from burning at the same time. This time, you decide, to make it simpler. You light a leaf on fire and let it leave your control, then reach for another crispy leaf before moving it onto the burning one.
(Cerys: 48 + 5 Control = 53)
It.. doesn't fail. You manage to keep the leaf from burning or lighting on fire, but only with some difficulty. It is much easier than trying to control the fire on both leaves and not let them be effected, but it still wasn't something that came easily. You could probably use this in battle, to keep a fire from burning something, but more advanced use would be pushing it right now.
Still, you let the original leaf burn away to ash as you move onto your next idea, cold instead of heat. You are going to try and compress cold instead of fire, to see what happens. It should be much safer than heat, so you only tell your sister to move ahead several more paces than she is.
(Cerys: 53 + 5 Control = 58)
You create a small sphere of cold, then start compressing it as you did with the fire. It acts... differently to the fire. It doesn't really drastically change temperature, though it does a little. It feels a lot more solid than your ball of plasma and once you get a good look you understand why.
In your hands is a solid ball of ice, though you can't feel the cold coming from it. You are confused as to where the ice came from, seeing as there isn't any water nearby to be frozen. You ask your sister and she rummages through her bag for the encyclopedia. You spend the next ten minutes playing with the ball of ice as you walk, while you sister skips through the book before coming onto an entry that makes her go 'Aha!'
Apparently air has little molecules of water in it, it must have been those that froze when you compressed the air. Still, you aren't quite sure what would happen if you detonated the ball of cold, it doesn't really seem to be combat worthy. Though you might think of some use for it beyond making your enemies suffer a cold breeze. Maybe you could try freezing the air? You don't actually know if air can freeze, though you do know water turns into a gas so maybe?
Anyway, after checking out a warmth you felt in the distance, only to find it be a small woodland critter, you decide to move on to your next idea. Seeing that you had managed to freeze the water in the air, you had an idea about doing something similar with your fire. Is it possible to freeze fire and have it still be hot?
You gather a little fire in your hands, making sure to keep it confined. You let it grow until it is a fair sized flame, then you try and freeze it? You just kind of try to make it solid whilst still being fire, even though that makes no sense.
(Cerys: 73 + 5 Control = 78)
You certainly do something to the fire. You just aren't sure what. It's... like you have created semi-solid fire. You can touch it, but it still acts like fire? Letting your hand move through it without issue, though still touching. To be honest, it feels like you are moving your hand through very hot water, or maybe custard, or something. You aren't sure what use you have for this right now beyond having fun shaping fire with your bare hands instead of your powers. Maybe it needs more work?
When you let your grip on the fire go, it kind of flows out of your hands. Like water would. It escapes through your hand and onto the ground faster than you can react, though you manage to snuff it out before anything else catches alight. Shaking your head at your strange fire, you exchange an amused look with your sister and move onto your next idea.
This time, you are going to be using your magic directly. You remember that you used your magic to push yours around, and wonder if you can actually use your magic directly to touch things or push them.
(Cerys: 55 + 5 Control = 60)
When you focus your magic and push it out in a wave it acts something like an invisible wind, things get buffeted a little and you lose control of that magic completely. Though you do discover that you can recover your magic if you use your own to reach out and grab it before dragging it back. It helps alleviate the tiredness you had felt from playing around with your magic all day a little. You guess you do have a limited amount of magic, though it seems to return fairly fast even if you don't recover your magic.
You are going to work more on this for certain, it feels very promising. For the moment though, you decide that now would be a good time to take a break. Una has been looking steadily more tired as time passed, and you are feeling a little tired after expelling so much magic, so lunch sounds great. When you find a fallen tree to use as a bench, you stretch your sense to it maximum, a slowly increasing four hundred metres or so and feel nothing. Well, not so much 'nothing' as you don't feel anything remotely human or larger than a small dog.
Location secured for now, you retract your sense and let it rest at it's customary fifty. It's a little strange actually, it almost feels wrong when you try to draw it back completely, so you don't. The two of you eat your lunch while chatting about the different thing you had noticed about your magic and different ideas you had. Una is practically a wellspring of them, something you attribute to her constant reading of Manga, the little addict.
Still, while the two of you are stationary, you decide that now would be a good idea to try something you had noticed earlier. You felt like you had created some sort of barrier or screen which you felt protected behind. You aren't sure how to repeat it or what it was , but now seems to be as good a time as any. So with Una watching attentively from a decent distance, you grab your magic and try to re-create that barrier.
You feel a sudden rush of energy, massive amounts of magic leaving you and rushing into the area around you. It creates a sort of, well you'd call it a dome, if it hadn't also reached into the ground. So a bubble? The bubble wavered a couple of times before seeming to lock into place when you pushed at it, actually becoming somewhat visible to the naked eye. Your sister ooh'd and aaah'd at it, but refrained from moving from her spot, much to your relief. From where you are sitting, the massive amounts of magic you used leave you breathless, though not for as long as you had expected.
It doesn't take all that long, perhaps five minute or so before you start feeling energy start trickling back in, energy that doesn't come from you. Your own energy was replenishing normally, the bubble wasn't taking any more or leaking any, still letting that feeling of safety permeate the air around you. You puzzle over this for a while, but don't manage to figure anything out. It just seems to come from nowhere. The energy isn't entering your limbs or coming from the air or ground, and it's not coming from you. It's just kind of.. appearing inside you.
The longer you keep this up, the faster the energy starts appearing, not in greater amounts, just faster. You try and prod this energy, but it just kind of slips through your grasp. You can use it as you would your magic, indeed it is your magic. But when you try to reach up the stream, you only get so far beyond everything seems to break down. There is just nothing there to make sense of. Still, after about half an hour, time passed chatting with your sister about this. You start noticing that the magic returning is starting to exceed what you normally have as a 'maximum'.
It doesn't stop, in fact, as it was before it continues increasing how quickly it is feeding you magic. Your reserves continue to expand faster and faster, and you don't notice any problems, at all. It disturbs you, you are fairly sure that the more of something, the harder to control it should be, but you have no issue in the slightest corralling your magic into doing what you tell it to.
You are gazing around absently, pushing and pulling your magic and the bubble, to try to make sense of it when you see something that catches your eye. It's just a leaf that is hanging about a metre in front of you, but the colouration seems wrong somehow. The longer you look at it, the more sure of that you are. You cast your gaze around and start seeing that strange hue on everything within your barrier. Your eyes dart over to your sister, but she is as normal as ever, though she seems to be confusedly playing with a pebble she had found.
You aren't quite sure what she's doing until you see her squeeze her hands with effort, and the pebble is torn in two by her bare hands. You both stare at the rock for a while in shock before you tell her to throw it to you. Once she does so, you poke the rock in your hands a little. It squishes, as if it was made of mud instead of solid stone. You look around at everything around you, all in the same shade as the rock. A quick reach nets you a branch, which disconnects from the tree it is attached too without difficulty. Once you try bending it in your hands it doesn't so much snap as it sheers in half. It looks like you had tied both ends to a different tank and had them drive away from each other.
Oh... It suddenly makes sense to you. The dots connecting rapidly. The more your barrier degrades your surroundings, the faster the magic is filtered to you. Your sister seems to be entirely unaffected, though you feel the urge to cut it entirely as soon as possible. You just don't know how.
The barrier seems to just exist now. It doesn't take any more energy from you and you are worried about just grabbing it and tearing it open, what if the breakdown started spilling out if you did that? You immediately tell your sister to get out, and she takes off running without question, passing through the inside of the bubble without the slightest sigh of resistance. You are glad you'd had that conversation with her earlier now, deeply glad. You spend a while longer poking and prodding the barrier before you notice something. A feelings seems to be transmitted from the barrier to you at one side, you take a look over to find your sister lobbing little stones at the barrier, only to have them rapidly degrade into nothing on contact.
You are seriously glad you'd had that conversion about being careful around your magic with her earlier. You don't want to know what would have happened if she'd touched it with her bare hands, or god knows run into it.
The thought makes your breath shaky, though you calm down quickly. You decide to try and move, to see if it disrupts the barrier. All it does is move with you. A set left moves it a step left, the same right. You are starting to get worried now. You try and compress the barrier back into you, and it does collapse back into you, though it is still running. It's stopped feeding you magic, thought your bloated reserves remain as steady as they were before.
Now that the barrier is inside of you, you try to collapse it or tear it apart. It doesn't seem to really collapse as it does get smaller, but when you take your magic and set to just destroying it, it finally fades back into spare magic inside your body. You breath a sigh of relief when you look around you and no longer see things seemingly melting rapidly. The tree you were sitting on is now soft enough that when you push your hand, it presses straight through the trunk and all the way through to the other side. The little pieces of wood that broke off just slough off of your hand like treacle and fall to the floor.
You look up from your inspection and look to your sister, still standing outside your barrier's former area and looking concerned and worried at the same time. You carefully make your way over to her, your feet sinking into the dirt as if it was wet mud and pulling free from it without the slightest issue. When you reach her, you give her the biggest hug you can manage around the bags on her shoulders. Thankfully it seems that since she was wearing them, much like your clothing it was considered a part of you and they were left alone.
The two of you take off further north moving significantly faster than you had been before. Both of you feeling the need to press on faster. Though the sun is starting to dip in the sky now...

However, I am heading to bed in a moment. No plan from me, just a few thoughts I had while reading.
First of all, we could try to use Thermokinesis remotely; maybe use it to cool down one of the animals we can sense, see if we can hunt for meat that way.
Secondly, we just got a large boost in energy; maybe try going for flight next?
Thirdly, this 'liquid' fire we have... it is intriguing, I think. We can change the properties of our flames; maybe see about making a solid spear of fire to throw at enemies? (The same would go with our ice.)
Fourthly... um... well, "I am the Beginning, I am the End"... I start to see why this would be descriptive of Cerys. If we level up Alpha and Omega, we will be like the Grim Reaper.
Fire scythe, anyone?
Fifthly, maybe we should start thinking about a way to increase our Health, Base Resilience or Base Damage? I am currently out of ideas, but maybe I will have something in the morning.
Sixthly, are we still scarred and, if yes, do we need to vote for healing the scars? Or will they heal away over time?
Addendum for the base stats: maybe we can increase them by focussing our magic into a layer right above our skin or something like that.

I was reading the sheet; this was why I asked, because I can not know if you already updated it and whether you just forgot to take it out or left it in deliberately. The heavens know I tend to forget some smaller details here and there all the time.
Which brings us to the question of whether we want those scars to heal. They might help us get sympathy from other people, but may also lead to trouble when someone asks where we got them. "I fell on glass while running away from hellspawn" might not be the most believable story.

Noo... Not sure what you've been reading, but Forest Bro pointed us North after giving the impression that the people there were like... magical cops or something. Or that's what Cerys interpreted it as. And that they would be showing up in a few days.
At the moment, once you reach the edge of the forest, there will be a vote as to set the forest on fire or not.
If it is a tie or no-one votes, then she will default to setting the forest on fire.
Treat it as a way to experiment with using your full power for a short while.
Hm @Rukia could I get an awnser as to that castle question? As far as I know our plan was to go there and become a planateer? Shrine maiden? Earth defense lady?
Currently, IC your plans are to leave the forest to the north and cross the Canadian border.
You don't actually know where the castle is.
I have no idea where your last three ideas come from...
The shrine maid is possible, if you guys decide you want to become one.
But first, you'll need to find someone or some way to be taught/become a shrine maiden, then you'd need to find a shrine/set one up.
Also, Cerys will need to have a reason to become a shrine maiden. (Food, stability, safety. This isn't the hard sticking point)
Spaghetti Pasta Bolognaise with grated cheese and tomato ketchup. (She really likes ketchup)
Una pretends she has the same favourite as her sister to make cooking easier, though Cerys knows her actual favourite and slips it to her whenever she can. Her actual favourite food is plain Lasagne. Her sisters love of ketchup has infected her too.
@Rukia, it is possible for Cerys to form magical contract with others and grant them magic power? Not infusion them with magic but rather established an active connection which the one she contracted so they could draw upon her magic power for magic?
Is possible for Cerys to perform magic fusion with others like the one from Vividred Operation or Dragon Ball Fusion techniques?

Yes, it is possible for her to do so.
It will be difficult and dangerous, but if you do it properly this is well within your reach.
It is possible that Cerys would be able to merge with another, but extremely unlikely because of her nature.
Also, do you really want to see what happens when you merge The Beginning and The End together...

Merging The Beginning and The End was something I definitely don't want to see as well but merging with others entity like others magical girl to get a boast of power when needed would be nice. Or when there not other options she needed to focus on battle in front of her and Una was nearby and can't get away, she could perform a magic fusion with Una and become one entity with her to focus on the battle without worrying about her.

She's read a lot of fantasy right? Ask her for magical power ideas. She might not have any good ones, but she'll like talking about it and she might stumble across something amazing.
Una's first Manga was actually Codename: Sailor V. Which then got her into Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura. They were living in a American-Japansese household and they found a lot of Manga in storage in the basement.
Her favourite is probably Berserk though. It's one of the Manga that Cerys was 'unsure' of.
She's also read little snippets of Jojo, though she couldn't actually find an entire volume, she enjoyed what little she found.
Cerys occasionally reads some of Una's Manga, if she has spare time. So she isn't unknowledgeable, but Una has read much more than her. Incidentally she also knows a little Kanji, more than Cerys does at any rate.
They've managed to watch a couple of Magical Girl Anime Episodes, but they haven't ever finished an entire season of anything due to time constraints and a need to hide. Can't leave the TV on for too long.

Good idea; I generally go with explaining the wellspring of ideas we already have going due to being a hivemind here as coming from Una, but... it might be worth a shot.
Additionally, I am incredibly happy that we chose the early setting.
Imagine Una getting her hands on Puella Magi Madoka Magica and then crying herself to sleep in Cerys' arms for days.
This can not happen here.
