Magical Girl Quest - The Fire That Burns

Aside from that, special melee skills go under Spells as well; they are just not ranged.

Okay then can we work on special melee skills?
It would be helpful in close quarter combat since our sword can be less effective plus Aura is no good with allies close by in their own struggle.

I think that the things Cerys does when just swinging the sword is impressive enough. Aside from that, we can probably only do a Falcon Punch or something... like...
*makes note*

Additionally, I just had this idea of actually weaponising sword spam. Make the sword and have it shoot off with Levitate; it only works on a few metres, but should be pretty ugly when a storm of superheated blades come cutting at the enemy.

Flame Sliding Dash would be great since it would trip our opponent while burning them.
Pokemon moves like Fire punch, Blaze kick and Flare Blitz would be good.

About Levitate sword we could use it like Yondu's arrow, imagine a huge superheated blade going through load of enemies.
Also we could stick the sword in hard and make it explode instead of trying to take it out which leaves her vulnerable for a few min or just leaving in there like a Burn status condition from Pokémon as a way to distract and weaken the enemy with pain.

I think we are doing something wrong when we have to rely on hand to hand overly much; besides, why be fancy when we can just say "wrap fist in plasma, hit enemy"?
Cerys is... quite frankly, the kind of opponent that is bad in an open field and worse in a closed space. She can just set everything around you on fire, trap you in the inferno and walk out of it without a care. Her fists alone are capable enough to break through weak walls, Infinity Edge would probably be even more devastating.

As for the exploding, I would rather not. People theorised before that the sword is directly connected to our soul and has Infinity as its Affinity... having it blow up might be really bad.
As for the Burn, that is inflicted anyway on hit.

Our sword constantly breaks. If it was directly connected to our soul we'd be a soulless husk by now.

Oh. Good. Maybe Rukia will actually survive running this.

(Balancing for exponential growth rates is hell.)

Yes, that it is.
On the other hand... if everything is OP, nothing is.

And on top of that, large numbers mean little when the bullshit starts... unless you are Goddess Gold, then you do not care for such things.

I was just doing the math, when I suddenly noticed this: -[X] Knight's Aria lv7 (305 EXP)
Shouldn't this be 315xp?
Or have I done something wrong on my end of the calculations?

[Current Level] * 15
1 = 15
2 = 30
3 = 45
4 = 60
5 = 75
6 = 90
15 + 30 + 45 + 60 + 75 + 90 = 315xp

[X] Take a day off to recuperate
-[X] Spending time with Una is a given... what about Morgan, Daiyu, Cuifen?
-[X] Have some fun together; have them bring winter clothes and then transform your training area into a winter wonderland
--[X] Time for snowmen, snow angels and snowball fights
-[X] Have something warm and filling for dinner
I don't really care about which direction goes the vote, but what was your argument for relaxing instead of the following options?
[] Investigate Dragon(?) Mountain
[] Hunt Powerful Magical Creatures
-[] Unto Heaven and Earth - There have long been tales of some truly ancient creature living deep in the mountains of Switzerland
-[] A French Legend - Kill the Peluda once and for all.
And do we actually have the time to relax? We spent multiple days training with Daiyu.
Actually, does Cerys know how to make snow? :???:

Plan and XP plan locked in.

Because attacking that camp was tiring and other people seemed in favour of doing so? No one mentioned wanting to go out exploring right this instant again, so I went with that.
Plus, Cerys can make ice. So she can make snow.

And... uh... I kind of want to go hunting down all the nests next; doing that is kind of our job.

Additionally, I like all those things we just got. A ton of HP, an Upgrade on Armoured Soul, Knight's Aria is now a monster of an Ability...
@Rukia, why do we have 900 Health when Regeneration pushed it up to 1,000?

Let me see, what did Daiyu get for herself...
Weapon lv10, now has Primordia... nice. She can intercept Spells.
She pushed her shield up a level, which is also good...
And she pushed up all her Abilities, as expected. A lot of tankiness and other nice things.

A thought has just come to mind and I realised that I should clarify.
The Angels do kind of know what's going on within the barrier, because a good deal of them are birthed from peoples belief.

Which answers that.
One more question... kind of. Armoured Soul still says that Health is increased by 50 per Level, although it was now pushed up to 100; maybe add a note about that?

The main question, however... what I am asking myself... is what these question marks do. We got the regular ??? when Armoured Soul reached lv5 and interacted with Will to Survive... now the ??? interacted with both of our auras (which we know are bound directly to our soul) and became a ??? bolded set.
Will we ever find out what it does, I wonder?

Armoured Soul Level 5 + Will To Survive = Add ??? to Armoured Soul
The willpower to survive a fatal injury + The reinforcement of the soul = ???
Sounds like something that would help against soul suicide.
Alpha and Omega Level 10 + Ignition Aura Level 10 + Armoured Soul ??? = Armoured Soul ???
Both our auras which were more or less plugged into our soul by Gaia + ??? = ???
I'd hazard a guess that our soul either assimilated our auras or adaptated to our affinities (if they were artificial).
Maybe it's the rumored infinite soul? :p

Fixed, I missed that.

Doing massive character sheet updates like this takes several hours and it's easy to miss things.
(Am quietly regretting using [Level] * 15 because fucking 15 times table.)

Ah, yes... I will keep my eyes open, then.
Additionally, I like how Daiyu's presence alone raises our Base Damage and Magic Modifier by 70%.

Let me take a look...
With all our bonuses in action, a normal hit with Infinity Edge is...
Base Damage: 63,
+70% Knight's Aria: 44
+45% Reinforcement: 28
= 135 damage

MM: 90 +63 (KA) = 153

So without adding Ignition Aura to the mix, we deal 136-288 x3 (Crush) = 408-864 damage in one hit.
If we can buff the blade with our aura, then this adds another 155 x 3 = 465 damage to the End Damage... and brings us up to 873-1,329 per hit.
So... uh... we should still push it a bit, but this is pretty good already.

Incidentally, we still need to investigate into the method which we used to hide our magic.
Aside from Rukia not-so-cryptic hint that it has to do with Gaia, I have that on my list.
Only... there are so many other things to also do...
