I was thinking about that, but... we would need to watch over them again, especially when we startle a group that is bigger than one.
Additionally...
Last time, Cerys was the bait to draw out the ghosts for the enforcers.
This time, Daiyu is the bait and Cerys is the enforcers.
I had them called in last time because Cerys is not good enough to lure them out and kill them before something happens, but we do not have that problem this time.
Still, the healing guy would be really nice to have... on the other hand, we are doing something wrong if Cerys actually gets hit. She is supposed to hang back and out of danger, with her last encounter probably making her keep a keen eye on her surroundings anyway... and Daiyu regenerates back to full in less than a minute anyway.
I... think I will add a line about making sure there is someone with healing powers nearby, but to only call them in when one of the girls actually gets injured.
Please note that this will usually only count during Magical Girl-on-Magical Girl combat, though it can also come up when fighting specific enemies that have the correct affinities.
Nepgears Purity affinity makes her existence bonsues proc a lot more often than they otherwise would, since it works by what she views as her enemy. It has appeared before

Oh, for fuck sake. There are better ways to lure them out.
They killed every single heat sources, so why don't we just create a fireball close to the wall?
Or we could start a fire inside the building while making sure it doesn't spread

You know... fine. I will do it your way.
But honestly? They probably killed all the living things; which were incidentally all sources of heat in the place.

That would imply they we're able to track down every single living beings in the camp.
And I apologize if I was insulting, I was just really annoyed we didn't even bother trying different ways to lure them out before using our partner as bait against those creatures.

that may or may not be true, but we can easily and without risk to us test it.
by simply trying to lure them with heat from a safe range.
even though it may not work, it'll only cost us a little time at no risk.
which makes it worth trying

We... can? Thermal Control gives us 1.6km of range in a circle of 800m in all directions... and everything that lives (save some magical creatures) has a body temperature. So if there was anything alive in this place, we would sense it.
Cerys even commented that there was nothing, not even rats.
I kind of had this discussion before. This plan is not to take the optimal solution, but to present those with the highest chance of success and hear what our partner has to say about them.
Yes, but fire is not a living being is all I am saying.
Anyway, I added a note about trying the fire. Although I am telling you now that I am not at all confident it will work.

I am still averse to burning everything down as our go-to solution... and no, just burning it a little before putting the fire out is not really better to me.
Hm...
Okay then. If this is the case now, change of plans.

-[X] Explain in detail what you learned last time; stress that these things are dangerous
-[X] There are two different ways you can do this
--[X] Plan 1 is to just level the whole place from above and destroy any stragglers
--[X] Plan 2 is to lure them out, Halt them and then kill them with spells
---[X] They are immune to physical attacks, though... and you can barely take one hit from them at best
---[X] Basically, you have to lure them out somehow, then freeze and destroy; the only method you know works is for someone to go near the walls and prompt them to attack, but there might be other ways
-[X] Whichever Plan you go for, see if some of the available enforcers have healing magic
--[X] Tell those to carry on with what they are doing; you might call them in, but only if someone gets injured
-[X] Have her decide if she wants to take the risk; it would preserve the site, but be more dangerous
--[X] See if any ideas of her own are viable
--[X] If she goes with Plan 1, discuss how to level the place effectively and what to do in case it startles the creatures into attacking
--[X] If she prefers Plan 2, see about luring them with small bouts of flame moving near the walls or flashing your magic light; do not go near the camp just yet, observe the place from a distance and see if any of that works. And check that.
I filed the strategies away for the following update; this one is strategy and reconnaissance now.

Fair enough, added that to the vote. Literally.
It is nice that the SV-inbuilt tally reproduces links; I do not need to make the vote even more bloated or risk misplacing some important verbs.
Speaking of, did we ever make that list of things we can assume are automatic actions? Because I am not sure about adding another line about being careful.

If you try an action that requires you to enter their attack range, Cerys will expect to get attacked.
I am also considering having her reject ideas that are too dangerous or haven't been thought through properly.
Example: If you wanted to check if you could stand on the roof of the building safetly. She would reject doing so because it would likely put her within easy reach of the Ghosts.
I'm not sure on what QM/Voter ettiquete is on this matter?
I wasn't specifying.
If you float within their attack range for any reason, Cerys will expect to be attacked, even if she isnt.
Somewhat expectedly, she very much doesn't want to get cut in half again.
