Loyalty is its own Reward (A Traitor Legion Chapter Master Quest)

Problem is that Night Lords weren't doing things that "modern" Space Marine would praise

Most probably, even Iron Warriors's stories about their "unmentioned victories" (because other Legions got praise) would be better
Severus tended towards moderation, and he forced the brothers he was in command of to do the same, so it's not quite that bad... but on the other hand, Severus and co. never did anything of note besides maybe being present at a major compliance every now and then. And he doesn't seem the type to exaggerate his accomplishments beyond what they actually were.

It's cold, but I imagine the founders would just make written or voiced records of their past and allow approved personnel to look through them at their leisure. Or the Chapter in general, if it is decided that the secret should be shared more. It'd also help the wisdom survive beyond them. The sort of things that get forgotten over generations of spoken word.

I was thinking of sugesting that the founders should make written chronicals, about the crusade, for when they die.

So what setting a oral tradition and telling tales? I am up for that but severus being from the GC and UW is a bit of a secret
So's their geneseed secret that's let out to the veterans who would get the stories.

They did what other legions did besides their special duty of enforcing compliance with terror. Taking on xenos and mutant warlords.

I wonder
If we find a cure to the geneseed flaws killing us
Could we take spatha out of the dreadnaught
Since he's not like other dreadnaughts in that he's intact

Man I hope we meet the space sharks at some point
Since it's possible they are a chimeric geneseed of raven guard night lord and world eaters

Its most likely the sharks are loyalist nightlords or a chimeric of them and ravens

Other then the sharks the lamenters or any first founding chapters which space marine chapters are any of you most exited to meet

For me its the minotaurs the black dragons the howling gryphons and the crimson fist

Source on that
The space sharks actually belive themselves to have a chineric geneseed
For all intent and purposes their looks and everything else matches with the Raven guard elements and there is a large amount of Forces that the Raven is not unaccounted for after everything settled down, and the title of Shade lord(Carcharodon CM name) was also used by Arkhos fal the leader of the Terran elements that Corax exiled, Plus their World eater traits can be attributed to their changed doctrine, adaptation to the Ghoul stars or Gene seed mutation that resembles the World eaters, and the reference of them being Brothers to the World eaters in the context of who said it, Ashen claw leader Nehat Nev (Not any Carcharodon's to my knowledge) could have used the words in a more insulting form to imply that the Carcharodon's are no better than beasts seeking blood, or it could be their disdain viewing them as a long surviving World eaters gene line

Another thing knocking the Chimeric Carcharodon's down would be that the World eaters have no history of approaching the

The only real Chimeric gene seed Astartes would be the Minotaur's (Cursed founding version)

Its most likely the sharks are loyalist nightlords or a chimeric of them and ravens
Way more possible than World eaters if Chimeric, Nostramo was at the edge of the Ghoul stars and the Stomping grounds of the Space sharks are near the Ghoul stars and if they are the from the GC era then totally possible

Also having world eater geneseed doesn't turn a marine into a rampaging killing machine

The Storm Wardens are heavily implied to be loyalist world eaters and they're just melee focused strategists (and also scotish)

To me The Carcharodon are likely the descendants of the Ashen claw who decided to remain loyal to the imperium/Emperor and as to not immediately antagonize their former brothers took the night lords gene seed we know the Ashen Claw looted from the night lords when they attacked Tenebor the fortress moon of Nostramo and any other outpost they attacked in the Nostramo sector.

Guys I'm pretty sure ThunderOwl already confirmed that the Carcharodons had a chimeric hybrid gene seed of Raven Guard and Night Lords

Depends they need to build up new geneseeds in storage and if there is a major drastic need the highlords do a new founding

If everything goes normal they wont do that for a 1000 years

And if we can butterfly away some events like cadia that would help
