Gonna be at my nieces basketball game today, with that in mind gonna do a QnA. Same rules as last time and the time before.

If the Directorate could be a tree, what tree would they be and why?

What are the most popular vegetables on Teklia?

This might be answered in the upcoming updates for the shrine keeper simulator, but to what extent have the environmental sciences been transformed by the ability to communicate readily with Wyld-spirits? How has this changed how research is done? Do you have to run research proposals past the Parliament of Root before going out to do botanical sampling?

What has been the most interesting tech tree that you have developed so far?

What is the Directorate/Tekkit opinion on the Emperor considering how he was depicted during the organization of the Star Child testament?

How different are those on the Frontier/Void Townships from those on Teklia and the other planet dwelling Tekkit.

We've seen how the Emperor-worship has synchronized with Directorate values, and you mentioned how we also have a small number of Chaos-worshipers that have also taken on Directorate values; how does that synchronization look now? And how do they view non-Directorate Chaos-worshipers?

Just found this quest. Loved Arkham Lounge so far. I plan to read this one until Lounge is next posted. The only question is whether you have a recommendation on quests you enjoyed/inspired you to run your own.

Honestly I enjoy most quests I read (I don't have as much time to read them otherwise I'd still offer reccs. DurinQuest is pretty neat even if I have trouble following along sometimes), but they aren't usually sources of inspiration. As far as things that inspired my quests, those are typically books, movies, select cartoons and comics, etc, mixed with a gigantic batch of political theory and my own knowledge of history.

what been your favorite faction or sub faction to world build for? and why?

I'm pretty fond of the Autons because of the psuedo-murder mystery aspect, but tbh so far my biggest favorite is the House of Devils just because of how supremely interesting the concept of renegade daemons is to me, the fact it gives me more tools to explore themes of redemption and morality, and the fact that its existence is more or less entirely because of the players deciding to actively recruit them.

Mahogany, the finest wood.

Hmm. This is an interesting one but my gut reaction is that they probably like stuff high in carbs and sugars like potatoes and carrots (not those specifically just using them as examples). Likely they also enjoy a lot of stuff we'd consider pretty pungent, like onions and durian.

Good question that will Likely be covered in the minimums.

And past this point its all phoneposting so awnsers are gonna either be shorter or take longer to type lol.

Theatriurgy (which fun fact is only called theatritheurgy when involving gods) is my favorite so far.

Broadly speaking they aren't favorable. Like it should probably be noted that in universe the nova testaments theology look a lot like cope to non novas.

Not super different: keep in mind that the ones in the home system are still in a few days to weeks travel to reach Teklia and have internet access. They're more likely to attract introverts and hermits and such.

Will be covered in the miniquest: benefit of taking the devil origin, I get to explore some of the chaosy stuff the Directorate has going on in its orbit.

Was there any confusion about the Emperor being the Omnissiah or an embodiment of it when they were writing the Nova Testament?

What is the Warp/Magic phenomenon that is most appreciated/taken advantage of on Teklia?

That's about what I figured for the Testament.

What are the most common ways the Huntmaster is represented? I know they're not realized yet, but I figure their worshipers have to have some images of them.

How are Auton social structures ? NuFrames were mentioned. Do they have schools and families ?

What are the Dreamlands like in mythology ? Can some NecroTek communicate with the dead ? Do our dead get eaten by demons or do they hang around.

Have we completely phased out animal testing in favor of simulations, or is it still occasionally used ?

What is the name of the regiment we fought on Yr Albain?

And since you're a fan of the House of Devils concept, I have to ask what is your opinion in genres that use such concepts like Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss and Chainsaw Man?

I love that faction as well, Since they're able to do a turnaround on chaos's betrayal game. I'm pretty sure Tzeentch alone would be able to notice and no-sell any attempts to start a mass Rebellion among the daemons, though. Maybe if we invested in some of the other madness-aligned gods like the Old One or Outer Dark, we could sow chaos among the ranks of Chaos.

anyways, I've tallied it out, and if we don't get the Teknum sarkophogi, then there's room to get all of the current nekrotek projects and devilpacts. (assuming every project from last turn that gave faith gave a bonus of 1 or more faith.)

For my QNA question, it's probably if we're starting to emerge on the radars of the Chaos Gods due to our poaching of their followers and daemons?

Also, will our Lifeforce technology be disrupted by an active hivefleet's shadow in the warp, or is it more stable since it's established in physical objects (metal, gem, stone, fire, bones...) rather than emotions? (Anger, Hope, Despair/Acceptance, and Lust/Pleasure)

The former's been answered in a way, we've had some attempted daemonic incursions that got taken care off by the wildlife, but atm the god with the most attention on us is Tzeentch given we're a sorcerous race always changing, full of hope and innovation.

And as for the latter, Bird has said he doesn't want spoiler questions, more lore and worldbuilding ones

How are Auton social structures ? NuFrames were mentioned. Do they have schools and families ?

Autons don't really do families in the traditional sense: they're constructed with baseline enough information to function as robotic servants right off the assembly line with an extremely basic competency in whatever they were made for (as intended by the Watchmakers), meaning they don't require a social structure designed to perform that process while ensuring they reach adulthood.

However, there's ultimately an upper limit on how much info they can have pre-programmed, and while they don't have social and psychological adaptations related to child-rearing, they otherwise do learn pretty broadly similar to an organic brain, meaning things like education are still useful for increasing the population of AutoScientists, AutoEngineers, etc etc or if a NuFrame (which is basically slang for "freshly printed auton": they're the closest equivalent to auton childhood, though mentally they map closer to, like, older teenager almost out of high school in terms of emotional maturity and intelligence) wants to learn a skill they weren't preprogrammed for.

What is the Warp/Magic phenomenon that is most appreciated/taken advantage of on Teklia?

Because the Nova Mechanicus and Testament don't require the political fiction that the Mechanicus and Ecclesiarchy worship the same god like the Imperium does to function, they don't really bother with it: the Omnissiah is the Omnissiah and the Emperor is the Emperor and so forth.

By and large the spiritheurgies used for making Muses, Bond Spirits, and so forth.

That's about what I figured for the Testament.

What are the most common ways the Huntmaster is represented? I know they're not realized yet, but I figure their worshipers have to have some images of them.

Crosshairs is their most common symbol attributed to them. Beyond that, the Huntstemples probably don't really like overt depictions: they'll probably utilize in art silloettes, only showing the Huntsmasters shadow, brief hints of his form hidden in the background, and so forth. It's not a full on Mohammed style thing where it's banned, but its probably taboo-ish, at least.

What are the Dreamlands like in mythology ? Can some NecroTek communicate with the dead ? Do our dead get eaten by demons or do they hang around.

The dreamlands are supposedly an infinite dimension unbound by the rules of time and space ruled by the gods, named so because it's where dreams originate from.

Seance Engines.

Why would I answer this?

And since you're a fan of the House of Devils concept, I have to ask what is your opinion in genres that use such concepts like Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss and Chainsaw Man?

It's not super important so I'm gonna let that be one of those details left to omake authors.

I think the Hellaverse is neat, and I've heard nice things about chainsaw man but tbh I have trouble getting into most anime yeah.

Do any of our Devils sing or is it all strings and ivories with them?

Probably!

We know that various types of gems can have different mystical effects, but are these consistent across the Directorate? Like, would a Trove-sourced Ruby carry the same effects as a Teklia-sourced ruby, or would the difference between the two planets lead to any major differences in the gems?

I'm a big fan of Faeries; I think every the chance to boost them at full power would be great, and while there aren't enough related projects to fill up every category, that does leave plenty of space to address sudden issues and developments when the turn comes around. I've also added boosters to Pyreflies and festivals, since those are somewhat related to Faeries as well.

What are the different colors for our Fleet uniforms ?
Green is for medical, yellow is for mystek, purple is security, but what are the colors for command, cadets, communication, navigation, helm, mental health, engineering, science and probably some other stuff I've missed ?

In Lower Decks both security and engineering were the same color, and science and medical were also the same color.
Edit: Rereading the Forbidden Archive event, security is black and white, and Discord informs me command is purple.
