Into that Vast and Unrelenting Darkness (40K Xeno Civilization Quest)

Well, more insane.

The Tekket appear to have mastered the technique of just already being functional crazies, so things like dealing with nonsensical shenanigans and worshipping Great Old Ones just don't drive them insane like they do other people, because they were already insane to begin with.

It's probably all the playing with nukes and particle accelerators as children. This is the true secret to ultimate power. I already hypothesized that early exposure to radiation is critical to Tekket development!
That or having been exposed to such potent and primordial forces at an impressionable age, and never having been told that fish and rocks can't learn to talk or be friends with you, they maintain a childlike sense of wonder and lack of disbelief even as adults, and become able to just accept the weirdness, give it some pats and treats to make friends with it, and move on to the next piece of reckless disregard for personal safety.

Well here is a thought are our Tekket turning into furry adorable abominations.

//Edit:
Unfortunately, the discord cabal have convinced me to gamble on an immediate Great Water Drop.

It's a real shame, when one doesn't use one's own plan, but at least you're getting use out of it.
Okay but umm, don't we want to keep them from starving.

I'd like to get the gene editing kits for kits thing done one of these decades, just to watch people panic like that one red robe when we did the baby's first fusion cubes.

[X] Plan: Great Aid
Because, dangit. BioTek is lagging. BioTek and DigiTek has been my pet Teks.

Also, are those for the auction?

A lot of things might synergize, I don't care enough about theoretical mystery boxes to worry about it when we're at the stage just about any full expenditure of our total point pools will hit a synergy or two just on pure statistics.

It occurs to me that Dhia'Albain, the Witch of the Wyld seems a lot like a daughter of Kurnous, God of the Hunt and Lileath Goddess of Magic, which could lead to a lot of interesting mythologizing since both those gods are married in traditional Eldar mythology, the first to Isha (who might be understanding about the whole thing) and the second to Asuryan (who definitely would not be). So what does that look like?

Lo and there came a day in the deep woods of Yr Albain when Kurnous happened upon Lileath dancing, and so fair was that dance that he was at once besotted and she with him for he was lordly as he was wild, their passions sweeping them away. From that day and that tempestuous union was born Dhia'Albain, but her parents knew that she could not be brought to light for great would be the wrath of the Emperor of Heaven and harsh would be his justice. So instead Lileath set about her daughter a mist of slumber that she would dream until such a time as the judgement of Asuryan would not be upon her.

The dreams of a goddess, even a new-born one stretch far so in the waning days of the dominion many heard then and were entranced, they passed out of the Shadow of the Fall and into the Maiden Worlds where the World-Spirits kept them safe as the Gods went onto the final battle and thence they fell. But Slumbering Dhia'Albain the Prince of Pleasure could not find for her mother had cast off the memory of whence she had left her daughter swaddled in mists.

So She slept still and so She grew until the pain and suffering of those She had called forth to her side awoke her and Dhia'Albain rode forth at the head of her Wyld Hunt as her father did of old, but the wise Lorekeepers know there is something of her mother in her also, in times of peace a teacher of magics, of wards and the gift of safer dreaming to those who heed her well.

I've been reading Everqueen and this image is as weird as fuck.
Lileath is Isha and Kurnous's daughter in there.
Well, the Greek and Egyptian pantheons wouldn't bat an eye.
Also, @Citrakayah, I don't think getting Familiars will lock us out of Beast Spirits. It just translates them into a form that allows them to communicate better.
Does the Eldar Rep boost apply to Dark Eldar (and thus the Kabal of Winterspite) ?
Because I was kind of anxious about leaving them at 0 Rep.
[X] Plan: Great Aid

Which aspect of what? Because arguably we have several gods up and running already.
Eldar Aspect warrior Aspects like swooping hawk the god of sky, revenge and retribution.
I mean they have shrines and beliefs based on these aspects believed by millions of Elda.
Given life-force I think they would make great (great as in a good framework the new god could grow off not a good god that's up to what goes into the making of them) foci to channel life-force though weaking Slaanesh's hold on the Elda spirit.

huh, we probably should have expected the holy song resonance to resonate with slanessh when the aeldari used it, not like theres many other gods left for it to latch on to- mabye cegorgacth, if the harlquins get a hold of it?
I wonder if they'll be able to develop Empyrean Resonances for their free gods once we crack that tech. Hell, maybe even for Isha, though we'd definitely want to be careful testing that.

No one else is worried about preventing starvation, or, at least, malnutrition?
Not the first time for them, I bet; and they are calling it "a lean decade", not a serious risk to life.
So, no, not really; or at least, giving them functional biosphere and industry to feed themselves takes priority, given there is no actual starvation risk.

given there is no actual starvation risk.

Donate Food: A great deal of the protein stocks and food vats had been wrecked. The Khimer would have a lean decade until the vats had been brought back online unless the Directorate stepped in: they weren't picky about what the Directorate provided, as they could apparently digest just about everything. -1 EXP per Food. 5 Food produces 1 Reputation. Prevents Khimer from starving.

Are we absolutely certain?

This is literally just copy pasted from the last negotiations and we were told they fixed these problems a century ago.
