The disguise doesn't prevent you from acting OOC and exposing yourself.
I was thinking more along the lines of Tattletale seeing us and realizing that she can only get one piece of information out of us and that we literally have no past, although now that I think about it the charm probably fills in details we leave blank. On a different note could we confuse Coil or other Precogs we encounter by creating an identity that will do the exact opposite of what we are planning on doing. Also does our power affect Postcogs for example our disguise includes the phrase he killed "Colonel Mustard" will the event (and possibly Colonel Mustard) appear in everyone's attempts to scry us, because if so we are going to prank the Simurgh so hard once we are sure she won't retaliate by destroying a city.

Cause it would allow us to take advantage of the mechanism to give case53s new ID, while we can rejoin our old life using the Loom snarling charm...
We would have to wait to call Danny, but after a week, a few hours won't make my difference...
If people want to this could allow us to join the protectorate instead of the wards if we can pass us off as adults.
The only ones who would know different are coil and Lisa given that they are involved with the moving of the chrysalid.

Unless you write in 'and then i took Adorjan charms and ran the fuck way' as a option of course. Even that probably won't last long once they search for possible triggers to the fashionable radiative green sun demon heroine princess (if you don't do charms mind control shenanigans again, which competent thinkers might see through).

So, which Yozi did we go with in the end? Cecelyne won with one vote, but there was some discussion that Cece wouldn't be a good choice? So do we roll with Cece or may that still be subject to change?
 
Some people showed willingness to change vote - at least i believe it was a change. I think whatever the QM feels more able and prepared to write is fine with me (and I voted adorjan anyway).

A question for the thread, if we use Loom Snarling Deception to become Drunky McDrunklson who's backstory consists solely of the phrase "He's always drunk" how long would it take Precogs or other Thinkers to notice something was wrong. On a more practical note could we send coded messages to Precogs or other Thinkers using Loom Snarling Deception
Several might assume we were under a Stranger effect based on their basic deduction skills. Their powers, however, would insist Drunky McDrunkerson was always drunk.

Is there any chance you could use a different colour for your "GM voice" and whatnot? I'm using the dark background version of SV, and it makes reading stuff like the voting options, or what the Coadjutor says an utter pain.

I can brighten the shades a bit, if it helps.

Alternatively, allow a non voting period to discuss and promote each Yozi option. Pretty big if you want anyone not of the Five to have a chance.

I ran into Glory Girl, and she said Panacea would check me to see if everything's okay." She winced at his reaction. "I said I wasn't hurt, but... something happened to me... "

The rewrite. So both.
I'm going to be working in bits of the canonical charmset into it and making a few alterations. I'll post those up as they become relevant (first example is a modification to Mind Hand Manipulation: only two purchases, E3 required for the second purchase, which allows telekinetic attacks and clinches. Still toying with the balance on the attack stats, as the core version of the charm is outright brokenly nasty, but the Revlid version is far too weak to be E4.)

So that leaves Facing the Music and ET Phone Home. Most Taylor quests that I've seen nowadays seem to gravitate towards the Protectorate/Wards. Calling Danny has more branches, with us later joining the Protectorate/Wards (in which case the option is just plain old player indecisiveness) or some variant of going solo and/or teaming up with New Wave/Undersiders. There's always the possibility of going the social Exalt route with Danny (which would be fucking fantastic because I don't think anyone's done that before) where we fulfill our Urge via Jobs Jobs Jobs and Infrastructure, really push the Dock Workers angle, but that's...probably not going to happen.

Okay, been thinking about what a SWLIHN + Isidoros character might looks like, and one of the concepts I've got would work perfectly with this:
From SWLIHN , take
- Every Last Detail (lets us plan instead of sleeping, improves planning rolls)
- Just As Planned (lets us regain Willpower by pulling off plans)
- Pattern Protecting Prana (lets us protect our organization)
- Unfaltering Management Style (lets us complete macro projects quickly, so long as we don't change course)
- Unshattered Tongue Perfection (Lets you share languages)
- Final Ultimatum Shintai (Become a massively powerful C&C element for a group you are a part of/allows you to improve teamwork)
These turn you into a terrifyingly effective organizer/manager

From Isidoros (Revlid's version):
- Indomitable Hedonism Drive (lets us use our desires (special form of intimacy, takes form of action+target) as our Motivation for stunts. Need to complete at least 3 desires a day to regain Willpower from rest)
- Arousing Indelicate Passions (lets us share/inflict our desires with/on others)
- Raw Whimsey Indulgence (lets us change the targets of our desires)
- Pleasure is Buisiness (lets us find a target for a desire that will help us advance our short term goals) (potential synergy with Just As Planned. JAP regains willpower for completing steps, PIB costs willpower, but PIB can help prevent us from gaining limit when a step is failed)
- Toil by Proxy (lets us spin off a black hole clone to accomplish our desires, regains willpower when that desire has been satisfied)
These turn you into a terrifyingly effective headonist. Now, if you take, say, organizing people, rebuilding things and motivating people as desires, you become an awesome motivational speaker/getter of stuff done.

I also have an idea for a Heretical charm building off of Mind-Hand Manipulation and Black Vitality Rubble Rousing (end of a chain that lets you smash stuff, absorb the stuff you smashed for extra health levels, then explode those health levels for motes and blowing stuff up) that would allow you to use the extra health levels as crafting materials/autosux on crafting rolls with Mind-Hand Manipulation. Maybe have a second purchase allow you to use the extra health levels for autosux when using World-Shaping Cosmogony. Smash the world to remake it in your image sort of thing.

Admittedly, you're probably right about this not being the way this quest will go. Still was a fun exercise.

Revlid MHM is like that because of the anti-variance deletion beam. Which is the attack charm of the set- and anyway, you can attack with essence 3. You just need to grab stuff to hit people with, instead of using pure tk.
Or taking the utility engine and making your tk fodder with that.

I'm aware. But tacking on another repurchase for a sub-par melee option is just excessive inefficient. And that doesn't fit her themes.

The repurchase is more for getting tk at all- without it you only get the workshop tools, but can't move things. That it afterwards gets you an attack option at no further cost, is a happy side effect, no? :p
