[] [Stewardship] A Rough Count
The number of people living in the White Hills has always been a little hard to keep track of. Maybe you can get a more accurate count, and stay a little bit on the quieter side. DC: 25. Cost: 0 Budget.
Does the Interlocked Abacus Array count towards this action?
Interlocked Abacus Array
When working with documents that require many calculations at once, this array can store every operation you throw at it and then hold those operations aside for when you need them, greatly aiding in your confidence in not making a mistake. Grants +2 Stewardship when working with large numbers of great numeric operations, such as processing financial documents or organizing business expansions.

Hmm, I prefer Official Business though, even if it requires going loud. People who voted for my plan, what are your thoughts?

I'd think that gong loud probably has synergies with Diplomacy: Nobles as well... and that certain intrigue actions may become more difficult once it's happened.

I think if we're going to go loud, we want to do a intrigue action first...

@huhYeahGoodPoint Would it be possible to get a intrigue action to spread rumors of Agueda's potential arrival, then watch and see who reacts and how so we can pounce on people?

Yes, though we might want to hold off on it until later. Or not.

But it would be hilarious if we manage to weaponize Tax Spooder's reputation even though the man fellow himself is far away doing something entirely unrelated. :D

Yes, but that ain't a touchdown action is it :V

(wait for next month, or quite possibly the next area for that one, because this case is going to take you all around the country and it might actually do some good somewhere not in the absolute hillbilly land of the White Hills :V)

Ah! So we'll be able to regain our unexpectedness! In that case I'd say speed is a slightly more important factor than sneakiness.

Good point. Given that we're in hillbilly-land and on a (relatively) tight schedule, we'll want to grab what we can from here and move on ASAP. For that, going loud from the beginning makes the most sense.

Well, Agueda's just a tax collector. (It's in the Quest's name!) It's not like he's some kind of wandering imperial spymaster investigating treason plots or anything like that.

That's what happens when you skimp on your taxes. IRL, out of all the ways, that's how they finally brought down Al Capone.

So remember, Empire citizens. Pay when you owe what you owe, and the Tax Spooder will have no reason to hunt you down! 🕸
