[X] Plan: Water the Tree of Liberty
I am too Flemish to not want to try this at the very least.

Taking time to prepare does not completely mean pacifism.
If we know where their canons are stationed we might have higher chance of driving them of.
furthermore we need a Casus beli stand on the right side of the law.
With all due respect, we have been told that the effects of such actions will fire this turn, without having to wait for the next. That includes finding and justifying any casus belli. It also includes actions which would modify any engagement.
Yellow Alert is an order to hold off on starting hostility, while obviously patrolling and preparing other things
Plan Attempt Peace is also likely to fail Yellow Alert. That was the point I was making. We should prepare before doing everything at the same time.
If we fail Yellow Alert then they will probably be the agressor without a Casus beli.
Or failing it results in our people acting violently and giving the nobles a casus belli. Or it means the majority of our forces get wiped out because we failed to organize them, meaning things are pretty much doomed. Or it might have one of dozens more potential negative consequences. It's unlikely that failing anything will actually result in something good for us, so to assume that is kinda silly. If we fail Yellow Alert then they will probably be the agressor without a Casus beli.
The revolution will seem more legitimate starts when the elite start to beat up peaceful protestors instead of the other way around.
You may call that a high pass, I call that a crit. As such the apportioning of rewards must be done.Martial pass, Diplomacy fail, Intrigue pass...
Learning pass...
Stewardship high pass, now...
Can we acquire anymore of these items via actions/money? So we could steal them, purchase them, trade them for favors, ect. Given that we attacked it with peasent militia, they're likely to sell them anyway. An entire mound of silver coinage and other treasures, buried beneath hill. Many of them had been ruined by the explosion, but some were still good - though admittedly, the mad scramble for the treasure by the militia meant that you could only really grab one thing before you got it out.
Choose One.
[] [Loot] Money
Money is always at a premium in your profession, especially money that you can use to help fund your continuing operations.
[] [Loot] Robes
This robe shimmers with a magic, an enchantment weaved upon it that seems like it could be used to help either infiltration or diplomacy. Moreover...it seems to respond to the touch of your own personal magic, somehow.
[] [Loot] Sword
This sword is obviously magical. You couldn't possibly avoid the conclusion if you wanted to, and simply approaching it makes it clear that it draws deeply from the wielder.
[] [Loot] Chest
Of course, that makes this chest jump out to you all the more. What could possibly be so valuable that whoever had set up this hoard had locked it into a box that screamed the contents were more valuable than even the sword and the robes?
Aaaand there's a second crit today! Choose your reward:
