the prosecution of the family that started this
Why exactly? The fact that they started trying to use debt as a way to raise capital in order to make investments intended to compound the capital is a standard entrepreneurial practice called leveraging. The real problem is somewhere along the way the noble families went hog wild into a debt speculation bubble, trying to imitate the base idea.

If anything, the real core of the problem is that the debt system allows arbitrarily calling in debts instead of contractually timed payments, combined with everybody overleveraging themselves

I don't think I allowed that last time, but is there something you would like to do?

I don't think it has come up before for that to be a last time, but I don't want to go for a option that costs money or carries a risk of backlash if we fail.

Bah, I will just put in investigating that dragon. I want to see what that question mark on the DC means.

I really think you should throw in some boons @Oshha, but since I don't have time to make a plan I will vote for this because otherwise it is good.

[X] Plan Placeholder Name

I really think you should throw in some boons @Oshha

As I said in my reasoning, I don't consider this case and these actions to be important enough to expend our limited Minor Boons on. That said, if you have a compelling case for why we should spend them here and now, I am open to being convinced.

THE ORIGIN OF SPECIE MONTH 5 ROLL CALL
Eh, good place to call it, should be a fairly straightforward update with limited items and highly synergistic items. Plan Placeholder Name wins 5-2-1.

Well...damn just a bit too late to roll. That said I am thrilled to see the results of these rolls.

Interesting times lay ahead I do believe.

May we live in interesting times. Or so goes the ancient Chinese curse.

The Martial roll was never going to succeed without additional modifiers (such as from new dance partners) hense why my plan delayed it. Now all that's left is seeing just how painful our failure is.

It was the least bad option. I didn't want to risk any backlash from failing Getting Some Real Answers nor to pay the costs of the other two actions. I would have skipped it, but the QM said we couldn't do that.

Would the cost of new dance partners really have been too much? The QM has always given us options to raise capital whenever we start running low. Plus, completing it would've given us better odds on the other options.

It is when I want to minimise expenses for a chance at getting another couple of shinies. I want to keep as close to 50 budget as we can as I am hoping we will get some rewards at the end of all this to push us over it when the case closes.
