Duke William of, when should we expect a sequel?
Guys, we're six turns into this quest, why are you already asking for a sequel? :V

In all seriousness, I'm not even going to consider a sequel until you guys finish this one. I might do a different quest or a sequel, I don't know, but that's for the future.

Also, vote's gone on for long enough so I'll close it now.

Ahem, I guess I misspoke. When can we expect the next part of this quest? I'd like to think about how we're going to move forward.

Apologies if the translation isn't clear...

I found images that in theory would fit Vexes and Allays as receptacles.
They could pass for regular cats if needed and it wouldn't surprise anyone that they have some sort of bags or clothes. Is this the first time? True, our ally in this case would have to explain the resemblance to his pets, but that's not our problem. And let's be frank, it should in theory bring them closer to the "catastrophe team".

And yes, it would be interesting to create them human bodies for the future as well. For many reasons. Both as an aid and as a lot of interesting and amusing moments. For example, a black cat could become a local seductress, and a white one could become our helper thief with his own bag of expanded space.

It was interesting to see both their interaction with the "catastrophe team" and the "puppy patrol."

Hmm, Duke William of, maybe a little off topic, but I'm still wondering, what's the deal with education here? Does Johanna go to school? Or is she a genius girl who at 15 has already received a full education and despite her relatively ordinary appearance is still that prodigy and workaholic?

But what about the rest of us? Are they on vacation or is Ryder also a genius who's already been educated and is now just idling around?

In general, I want realism and justification! And what profession does Johanna have if she's already trained for it?

By the way, since Johanna has been with us for 15 years, here are the appropriate images for her.

Edit: I just realized that our heroine has all the makings of a future yandere and to be honest it scares me a little. Seriously, she's already shown that she can scare her opponents into pissing their pants, but what's next?

I don't think Johanna goes to school, not because she's a prodigy, but because well, why would she? She's a supervillain. Why would she want to waste time writing a five page paper on How to Kill a Mockingbird when she could be out there robbing banks? Also, if she was to enroll in school, there would probably be a lot of paperwork involved and the school might want to actually see her parents in person, which would just complicate things.

Decided to find all the pros and cons we have accumulated for this move. It turned out... decent:

Result of the preparation of the last move.
1. The Paw Patrol have once again been distracted and tired out by your minions' shenanigans.
The Paw Patrol suffer a -10 malus during the Rumor Mill as well as during the next SUPERVILLAIN Scheme if done next Turn.

2. +20 to all Rolls during the next Supervillain Scheme if done next Turn. SHOULD YOU ACTUALLY STICK TO THE PLAN THIS TIME.

3. +5 to all Personal Rolls next Turn.
Johanna's mood has improved.

4. The Neighborhood Watch Malus has been completely negated.

Omake awards.
5 Ironconsulate
Opportunity: People see what's happening in Adventure Bay with... opinions. (Unknown Effect)

6. Themarineguy
Paw Patrol MERCHANDISING quest
Negaverse - Merchandising Quest Supervillain Intro Event React.

Hmmm... Since these are both practically the same thing, I think I know just the reward.

You'll get an exclusive action next turn related to this, but it can only be taken that turn or all will be lost. :D

7. New Levels: Alikard310
Animagu-Wait, Wrong Franchise: Gain access to some new... magical ideas next turn.

8. Humdinger Meets the Puppeteer: digital2
Growing Fame: Other evil-doers have taken notice of your skill.

9. Puppet for Puppeteer: Alikard310
Gain access to a new action next turn.

10. Puppetmaster's Pending Plans: FalloutCow
Gain access to several new possible SUPERVILLAIN Schemes.

11. Merlin: Xsplora
+10 to all Magic-involved Rolls next Turn.

12. Crossing The Line: Silversun17
+5 to Performance Rolls next SUPERVILLAIN Scheme.

13. (Canon) Scent Talisman: Ancient One
+20 to Artifact Enchantment.

14. Nothing Left To Lose: Silversun17
+5 to Performances Rolls during next SUPERVILLAIN Scheme.

15. The Other Side: Silversun17
+5 to Performances Rolls during next SUPERVILLAIN Scheme.

16. (Hilariously Canon) Puppeteer Pitch Meeting: Panory (awaiting Decision)
Escalating Stakes: Other powers have noticed the situsaion in Adventure Bay. (Unknown Effect)

17. Leaked Song: Greatgodofallpot
+5 to Performance Rolls during the next SUPERVILLAIN Scheme.

18. Master of Puppets: digital2
+5 to Performance Rolls during the next SUPERVILLAIN Scheme.

19. Cracked cards: Alikard310
+15 to the next Artifact Enchantment Roll if taken next Turn.

20. Muscle Wizard: Ironconsulate
+10 to Physical Fighting Rolls against the Paw Patrol during the next SUPERVILLAIN Scheme.

21. Smile: Alikard310
+10 to Performance Rolls during the next Supervillain Scheme.
Omake. Calling a friend: Alikard310
Mayor Humdinger gains +15 to his next Rumor Mill Roll, and you gain extra Notoriety and VP Popularity based on the level of success he has.

22. Lancer: Alikard310
I'll add a +5 bonus to the Spear Trait.

23. Screensgrab: Xsplora
+10 to Hideout Actions next Turn.

24. Casper: Xsplora
+10 to all Actions next Turn that involve Allays and Vexes.

25. (Canon) Local Ladybird Loses To The Paw: Ironconsulate
Unlocks two new Actions next turn, though they are not exclusively to that Turn only.

26. (Canon) Passive Aggressive: Panory
Canon! Non-Hostile Actions towards the Paw Patrol next Turn gain a +15 bonus.

27. Lair of Evil: Alikard310
+10 to Lair Actions next Turn.

28. New Villian Resume summarized: Themarineguy
+5 to actions pertaining to N.E.M.E.S.I.S. League next turn.

There is ACTUALLY MORE. However, considering that these are all the rewards we have received since the last turn, it is logical. Although the fact that most of them are in fact the opening of new actions and opportunities is not so bad.

Write if you missed something or took something that we have already been rewarded for.

We're trying to bring some realism to this quest, so let's not leave a 15-year-old rich girl hikimori without an education.

Umm, guys.
You do know this a cartoon show for 6 years old kids.
There is no need to dig too deep in to it. Just let's it go and trust THE QM. He know's, what he is doing.
Also @Alikard310. Johanna is surpose to look like Juri/Jeri's from Digimon Tamer

I disagree.
Skip School, do Evil!

And it also takes away a considerable possible bonus and justification for its possible overlap. However, this does not detract from her communication problems, which appear to be the fault of her parents.

Every profession implies some kind of job skills, so if someone writes an omake about how she passed on an economics degree for example I think it will pay off for us in less living expenses and possibly enable us to find loopholes in the law to avoid paying taxes... well or to buy our house at a reduced price.

In general, there are many options and we need to not only get bonuses from our omake, but to create problems for themselves to be interesting to read this story.

But Johanna has a job and is getting outside. That stops her from being a Hikki.

Read about how she tried to communicate before. The fact that she is NOW communicating suggests that she is no longer a hickie... and becomes a chuunibyou.

I want to write an omake in the future about how this cartoon getting enough popularity gets a better budget and expands the audience to teens 16+.

And yes, how is it different from these images? Essentially only that the image is more... realistic? Better drawn? It doesn't make much of a difference to me... if you're not picky.

Johanna 15, so it makes sense that she should not look exactly like a child, but rather like a teenager.

To be fair, is a person really a chunnibyou if they have actual magical powers?

Well, if she wasn't trying to flaunt them as various cool tricks and all that... Anyway, take a look at this person and tell me, is she a chunnibyou or not?
She studies her magic just because it's "cool" and doesn't really care about logic, so she and Johanna have a lot in common.

Is it chunni when that's legit Megumin's native culture?

Chunni is also called eighth-grader syndrome. It implies not so much a belief in magic or something like that, but rather a rejection of logical actions and an attempt to behave coolly in opposition to logic.

In other words, for Megumi, her rejection of magic other than explosion magic is her essence, though logically she should have learned some other magic as well.

Johanna if she wanted to become famous could have become an actress or... I don't know - a singer? There were a lot of options, but she chose the "cool" option and the illegal one at that. This goes against the logic of considering her skills. Even if she were a simple ghost thief with her magic, but instead she purposely provokes the heroes and confesses her crimes. So yes, she is chunnibyo and there is no cure. Because it has real grounds and facts behind it. In the sense that even going against logic her plans work.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, though...

you say that but acting/singing careers are way more cutthroat that super villainy, she's safer fighting off puppies than she is trying to land a gig, better for her mental health too

Her parents' connections + money + Johanna's own talent and effort and she would have had a much better start than most. I'm not saying it would have been easy, but it wouldn't have been a crime, so it's not like the path she took was logical... at least until she tried all the options. Crimes are usually committed by those who simply have no other options, not by those who have decided it's "cool".

You do realize 80% (might be mixing up my numbers) of theft by value is white collar crime by people who just want to get richer then they are already.

Crime out of nessasity is not as common as people think it is.

Edit: it can be argued the rich are more likley to do crime.

I know, but Johanna here is kind of a hardworking artist and a problem communicator, so it seems strange and illogical to me that she chose this path to success rather than trying to do her best to achieve her goal.

So I'm leaning towards her having a clear personality disorder based on her isolation from society and normal communication.

As for the fact that crimes are committed by those who already know how to commit them and know that they won't get anything for it, that's not our case yet.

...What is our case is my desire to rob thieves. In the sense that if there are corrupt officials and other unscrupulous people here, it's worth seizing their illegally earned money...to make something more fun out of it. A modern-day Robin Hood, yeah. We steal from the rich and give to the poor (ourselves, we're poor).

I want to see them chase Johanna and explain to the Puppy Patrol that they were dishonestly robbed.

...The main thing is that our personal thief in law isn't touched. I mean Mayor Humdinger's.

better target for NEMESIS: a bank that caters to the more corrupt segments of the elite and we use that heist to announce NEMESIS to the world.

The best possible target would be a bank who's clients tend towards the wealthy with a priority (on our end) to ones who have their fingers in corrupt business practices and the news. we don't want organized crime targets for this as Humdinger needs them to fence goods and source illegal materials.

The benefits of this kind of targets isn't the money. if anything we want to clean out the vault get "chased" to the tallest building in the city and then magically launch 70% of that money to make it rain across the city while an accomplice makes off with the 30% we're keeping. Normally this would give Nemesis a Robin Hood look but here's the thing: Who did we just rob?

the Media Moguls will paint us as the most vile monsters they out of rage for being stolen from, the wage theives will find every way they can to paint NEMESIS as evil to push scruitnity away from them and onto us. By ensuring they are harmed by our opening act we will super charge our organization's opening notoriety
