So far, it looks like my votes will probably be:

Prosthetic is blank so I don't think there should be an issue with it touching Administrator.

[ ] Prioritize cleaning up Charge's Shard data? There's probably some interesting stuff in there, but doing this in the background will take a long time, even for you. You've got to spend an action choice on this if you want it done any time soon.

I don't want to risk slowing down the current research projects, and we can finish it in the following voting round.

I'm thinking about contacting Optimize and Coat for sense-sharing because Tinker info is useful for Memetic Proxy Filtering 1 & 2, and we're low on Brute and Changer info. I don't really want to stumble into any new problems so I'd like to limit contacting new Shards for now.

-[ ] Try to subtly nudge Valerie into entering into range of Taylor, so you can get a full resolution scan of the brain.

This sounds like a pretty good plan.

[ ] Send Taylor a dream of eating the Challenger and succeeding to encourage her to try. She needs the calories.

Someone suggested this so here it is in plan form. I'd include contacting Negotiator to ask about Lisa as well, but I don't want too many plans along with decoding Charge's data, or we'll slow down the research projects. Also, maybe Gaea can tell us about any other humans with weird modifications that Amy has gotten close to.

The real issues are that we're currently limited to 2 Research slots, Vhalidictes has said that we'll probably only have enough time(?) to research the first step of about half the research trees, and our current priorities for the research slots involve trying to put out all of the current and upcoming fires. Taylor's health is a big issue, and it's also quite possible that she'll trigger soon. Basic and Advanced Host Modification (Human) might be needed for fixing Taylor's health while Stabilize Trigger would give us more control over what power she'll get when she triggers.

My issue with this is that Amy is currently on the run. While Veronica and Victoria are likely to find her in the next update, I don't see her wanting to go out in public any time soon.
 
I don't think we should trust Optimize. He's not an enemy per-say, but he'd report any aberrant behavior simply because that's procedure.

I don't suggest that we confide in him at all, but we can offer to sense-share. He'd probably agree because it allows both parties to efficiently gather more info. Then we don't have to contact him again unless there's something else we want.
 
I was under the impression that other shards could glean how we interact with our hosts from the data, though Vhal hasn't said that. After all, there's probably some kind of downside to all this free data, and other shards have to be able to pick up on it somehow in order for it to matter.

I don't think so. Iirc vhal mentioned that optimize wouldn't care because it's a waste of its time.
 
I mean, we could just stream Optimize the data from a Host we don't interact with.

We have two options for a Host to ignore completely going forward, which would give us a good cover.

I don't see us paying much attention to Trainwreck as long as she actually joins Faultline.

I wish we had the time to do Administrative Archaeology. It feels like there's all of these useful abilities and data just waiting for us that we could apply to our interactions with other Shards. Though maybe that's wishful thinking. I still want to find out what's in the data that Charge sent us though.

I'm at a loss for what to do an omake on. I don't understand computers enough to do one for Focussed Research, we need to research Memetic Proxy Filtering 1 as an active research project in order to achieve it, and I don't know what mechanism Shards use to modify their hosts. I also have no idea how to research Stabilize Trigger, given the current state of Taylor's brain. If anyone has 2 ideas for a research omake, they can send me one, and I can try Googling it.
 
Personally, we gave Slimewreck as much a push as I want to. Whether she joins Faultline, the PRT, or even the damn ABB makes no nevermind to me. As long as she creates enough data to pay for herself.

Probably a good choice to use for Shards were not sure of. The body's not very baseline, but, hey, Hosts are weird. As long as we leave her to her own devices, we should be fine.
 
Something to consider: Goowreck isn't a good fit for Faultlines crew, other than as a surrogate family. They tend to go for long stretches between major, dangerous jobs. That might not generate much data.

Now, you don't need to worry about a conflict drive for your hosts, but data collection is an even bigger priority for you than most Shards.

The best data farming in BB is, weirdly, probably the Wards. This is something to keep in mind when (if) Taylor Triggers...

Well, I suppose we could send Goowreck and Taylor to the Wards, but if we did that I think we'd have to make a deal with Cauldron to accomplish anything. Taylor can't moonlight as a secret agent of KETTLE if she's under government oversight. Also, Taylor wouldn't voluntarily work with the wards after we tell her about shadow stalker, and we will have to tell her.

UNLESS! We trigger Piggot, ADC Coil and take over as the new director ourselves. (CON: PAPERWORK)

Maybe we should speak directly with Faultines crew. They're already investigating the shadowy conspiracy, we could just tell them what's up and coopt them.

Alternatively, we dream speak to Goowreck, introduce ourselves, say we're responsible for changing her powers into something better and tell her what's going down. With her intervention getting Taylor to Amy would be easier.

Wonderful name by the way, though now I wish we could have made her power slime themed.

I do agree with the idea that sending a functioning goowreck to faultline is a waste. If we can keep her safe for a bit she would make a decent teammate for Taylor when we inevitably mess up fixing Taylor and trigger her by mistake.

We already sent the Faultline dream so we'll have to intervene to stop that from happening. How do we protect her and introduce her to Taylor?

Hell if we talk to them now we could have them meet each other and then go find Panacea. Gaea doesn't seem like she would be too hard to bring on board.

Oh so she's actually a slime then? Multiple limbs, move her organs around, flatten herself to the floor and fit under doors slime? That's pretty good. And if she can change her shape, maybe she could literally install tinkertech into her body, just by wrapping goo around it.
