Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

Oh and since we are talking charms, False Spring Beckon would obviate all of Rosie's lingering issues from the compulsion and get her over her addiction and as a three dot favored charm it is something you can buy at 9 XP. I mean she would have to be your minion in some way, but you could just ask for easy and convenient things

Not permanent though.
If the target accepts the Infernal's offer, she may sanctify the pact by spending 1 Essence. The target immediately ceases to suffer from the relevant torment. This reprieve lasts until for a number of weeks equal to the Infernal's Essence rating, or until the target refuses to do anything the Infernal tells him to do, whichever comes first. In no case does this Charm actually fix the problem – the target is still wounded, cursed, or deranged – it merely alleviates the symptoms for a while.

Unfortunate that our training-charm is so narrow and doesn't include Willpower as a valid target.
Buying 30 XP worth of that would propably help her a lot.

@DragonParadox, if we made a shield, could it be crafted to be concealable, like a buckler that folds down into a bracer? Or something that could fold down to fit into an average purse or small backpack?

There's an ancient sorcery spell for that.
I'm more interested in a purely mechanical device, something we can craft now rather than later.

I understand that it might not be possible, but we had such good results with the armor that I'm hopeful we might be able make a neat shield, too.

I would wait until the first time we actually use it.
That leaves more space in the discussion for the actual buys.
There's an argument to be made that this would be fighting the past war, not preparing for the next. I'm not sure if I want to make it, but it exists.

@DragonParadox can we use ccc for preparing for future potential imprisonment? I want to build a grappling gun. Or a jetpack, I guess, or 3d maneuvering gear. It's mechanics, it's something to give us mobility and allow us to escape confinement, if only confinement of gravity. Molly has dex 4, so she should be able to make good use of it.

On the matter of planning. Yeah, definitely visit Rosie, and follow up on nazi wizards. Also more equipment. Armor and utility. We might want to make a gun later, but that's a second priority.

Unfortunately not CCC is reactive not protective it is triggered by the pain and outrage of imprisonment.... or you know the minor annoyance of being stuck in school. Infernal charms are not really that good with proportionality. :V

Hmm I figured killing outsiders for the first time would be worth more exp especially since other than Harry everyone they were fighting they had resistance too I think.

No exp for going to school? It's arguably a harder task than the outsiders?

They had no resistance to Michael and you do not become the Blackstaff by being an easy target, all those vampires and the minor Outsiders would have been a deadly peril to McCoy alone, but not certain death.

Not a fan of wasting time on homework, but it's an action tax that is probably better paid now so we don't have to worry about complications in the near future (i.e. Charity). We suffer through it now to insure we have less hassles in the coming Summer months.

We had such good results crafting the armor, we should try for a shield next. Even if we don't succeed, the experience will be valuable (I mean the actual experience, not XP), using the Tool Charm, getting an idea of possible uses for materials, etc. A bit more damage mitigation on top of whatever we can manage through Charms would also be appreciated.

It makes sense for us to spar with Michael, too. Given recent events, the longer we put this off the stranger it seems, IMO. It's like being the daughter of a superhero, developing powers sorta like your parent, then the parent not taking the time to help work out the ins and outs of your powers.

Visiting Rosie in the hospital and hanging out with our friends just seem like the proper IC Molly things to do at this point. Not doing them is liable to raise eyebrows and lead to annoying social stuff later.

Picking Father Forthill's brain and doing online research about the supernatural are also fitting uses of our time. We're curious by nature and there's still a lot we don't know. Father Forthill is a great source of information about some aspects of the supernatural world, especially the Church's stance/interactions with it. Even if we don't find any good information online, we might still discover misinformation that could be helpful. We already know enough to discern some fact from fiction, and have sources we can use for easy confirmation of other facts, so learning what others might incorrectly believe, or what falsehoods they might be deliberately spreading, could be useful in its own right.

-[X] Do your homework (Will prepare you for class, in the absence of it Academics rolls to keep your grades up increase by +1 DC; if you do not take it repeatedly you may have to make excuses to the teachers) [Requires 3 AP]
-[X] Make a shield of some kind - Try to craft a Light Shield which can be easily concealed, preferably hidden beneath your clothing (such as a bracer) or stowed easily in a purse or backpack.
-[X] Find some place to spar with your dad, you are pretty good with a sword, but it's hard to judge how good when all the opponents you faced are now dead
-[X] Go see Father Forthill, talk about the Church and its perspective on the supernatural
-[X] Visit Rosie in the Hospital
-[X] High Tech may blow up in the presence of wizards, but they aren't the only ones in the know, see if you can find some stuff about the supernatural world online
-[X] Hang out with your friends

"How dare the laws of nature deny me my rightful ability to soar in the skies! I'll show them, I'll show them all! " or something like that. Gravity is a prison and we shall be free.

Is the sword somehow hyperreal and so anti outsider like if normal reality is a 1 the sword is a 2? With outsiders being in the negatives?

You know right now this is fair in the future if a powerful person is relatively in the background and we solo an encounter before they do anything do they still take exp?

That's Harry's theory. You might be able to find out more by asking with your Crown, but you promised not to

Sadly Molly's mindset is that gravity is a natural part of the world and not an imposition on her specifically. :V
