Even if this doesn't affect the metaphysical balance at all, I expect some Denarians to strike at Molly or Lash or both with their normal means.
This was quite the provokation.

Eh, Nicodemus learned about Harry getting rid of Lash in 'Small Favors' and Lasciel didn't take a swing at him until 'Skin Game' years later. Granted, it was pretty clear it WAS personal with Lasciel, and she did get pissed off, but the rest of the Denarians and devils didn't care.Even if this doesn't affect the metaphysical balance at all, I expect some Denarians to strike at Molly or Lash or both with their normal means.

There is a big difference between getting rid of the shadow and getting full on "Yoink! Finders, keepers!". Even assuming they are not in any way interested in what the hell and how Molly did to pull it off, which is highly unlikely, it's still a kind of precedent that if it becomes known may severely hobble their future recruiting attempts.Eh, Nicodemus learned about Harry getting rid of Lash in 'Small Favors' and Lasciel didn't take a swing at him until 'Skin Game' years later. I think that pushing the Lash is Lasciel's child with X character angle is both incorrect and kind of creepy given their relationships with each other.Lash isn't Lasciel, as we should know very well.
If anything, she could be considered Lasciel's child with Harry, if she isn't Lasciel's child with Harry AND Molly.
This isn't the World of Darkness either.
If she is considered Molly's kid in any way, I could see an argument that Lash is not only innocent of any of Lasciel's wrongdoing, but as a 'child' still bound by the protection that is supposed to cover Michael's family up until she intervenes in the battle between good and evil.
Also, seeing something so heavily reminiscent of their prior angelic forms is probably going to goad them like nothing else. Just by existing someone like Lash is throwing their entire history in their faces. There is a big difference between getting rid of the shadow and getting full on "Yoink! Finders, keepers!". I'm under the impression Werewolf is the "cagematch" splat, so yes to the latter, ehh on the former.I believe most demons, for all the metaphysical weight, would loose if they got stuck in a cage-match with a Vampire or Werewolf with a similar amount of total XP spend.
Lol wanna introduce Lash to the shopping cart maxim nowLash stops in front of the car and looks it up and down. For a moment you are concerned she is going to make some kind of antique car snob combat and hurt his feelings, but she seems to be paying more attention to the magic than the metal. Whatever thoughts she may have on him she does not share. She reaches for another pringle, comes up empty, frowns at the can with a lot more focus than it probably deserves... Oh, you realize suddenly, she's considering if she should drop the can here in the empty lot or wait until she finds a trash can.
In some minute way she is pondering virtue and vice.

I don't seriously think of Lash as a child.
I always felt that in WoD wreckers never were the main problem. Like yes, you need some way to deal with your opponents but it's not something that would make them want to crawl on the walls and tear their hair out. Different finicky abilities or just straight up mastery of Obfuscate were always a much bigger problem in my experience.I'm under the impression Werewolf is the "cagematch" splat, so yes to the latter, ehh on the former.
We will absolutely be commissioning fantastical creatures. And more mundane ones. Seriously, in a few years we'll be reintroducing populations of thylacines into Australia... some remnant population mankind clearly just kind of missed... along with other victims to mankind's excesses. It just kind of happens and dominates the news every few years.Just looking at the hand Lash got with her Lore one through three it's a kind of kit that allows for ridiculous levels of bullshit to be pulled off outside of direct combat. Anyone who is not Molly, Odin or similar level of supernatural senses going to suffer just trying to find her. And with Flesh at 5 she can go full on Spark on the world introducing new fantastical creatures to spice it up.

Hey! It's not counterfeit, it's original brand. This is not human, memory of grace and counterfeit divinity stitched together with threads spun out of Old Night."
That's partially a cultural thing though. A beta fork presumably identifies as the same individual and they have context to slot into that handles them as a specific case. The best analogue for Lash is that she's, in Eclipse Phase terms, a beta fork of Laschiel.
She isn't a child, she's a pruned copy.
…We really missed an opportunity to make all the snacks religious and Angel themed.Did someone supernatural get into the Chips-industry to produce that name?
