Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

My thoughts are that you should not try to use ancient sorcery to try to beat the Merlin in a wizard duel, but those things it does it does to a inescapable extent, like the above mentioned kicking a Fallen out of their host by main force. To put it in programing terms you have root access to reality, but it it though a legacy system that has been mostly overwritten.
So are we limited to the stuff in the book, can we port other spells from exalted. Can we summon up first circles daemon.

Do we need to take the Hedge Magic (5pt. merit) to use Dresden files magic, or will Molly just automatically have that from backstory.

Ninja'd

Edit:edit:
@DragonParadox Could we get a higher level of demonic advisor? Just potentially. I'm interested in those social benefits with creatures of hell.

On the other hand if those hells dont exist or we dont have easy access to them...

Oh sure, you can take it all the way up to five, if you take that and Michael as a mentor the results are likely to be a lot of philosophical arguments. The demon has... different views of morality. :V

Oh my god, Torment in 2ed was so fucking bad.

Fucking unblockable, unavoidable sympathetic contagion vectors that are limited only by "The GM's opinion on how evil the Yozis are". The base effects aren't even bad! I like the fact the Malfeas Torment turns you into the center of a berserker fueled mosh pit where everything around you tries to murder you at all costs, because reacting to it by just sitting down and taking it is an option, as is retreating.

The whole "Also, anyone you know who interacts with people and isn't as strong as you dies offscreen when the same thing happens to them" though...
Tell me about it.

And also, I am an Abyssal player as much as I am a Solar player. If you think Torment was bad, wait until you see Abyssal's Resonance.

-Oh? You didn't spent a minute not slaying everyone on your vicinity? Resonance for you.
-Oh? You tried to spare some people thinking us Neverborn wouldn't realize? Resonance for you.
-Oh? You tried settling down and having kids? Too bad, Resonance to you, fucker! You're our slave now, act like one!!!

I am NOT playing a Great Curse ridden PC ever again, especially not here, thank you very much!

Eerie Presence:

-Eerie Presence (2pt. Flaw): Mortals have an unconscious awareness of your undead nature, which makes then anxious and ill at ease in your presence. Because of this, difficulties of all rolls relating to social interaction with mortals are increased by two. (Vampire 20th Anniversary)

about the same thing ,with the same pts but without fucking our our ties to our family

so how would this work narratively like ,what would the unconsious awareness that we re an infernal exlated look like

You are limited to things from the book barring... altering the cosmos as a whole to make ancient sorcery better. The Wheel of Ages turns. ;)

You do not need the Hedge Magic Merit, how you interact with standard wizard magic will be revealed in story

What a cruel Storyteller as well then. That sounds awful.

Sounds like a good time to me.

May require a bit of brute force since we're far from normal Exalted and aren't a Solar even if were in the right time...but whats a quest without goals...

If you did no have Urge of the Forbidden I would not have said anything, but you do and 'rewrite reality to give me mastery' is a very fitting long term goal for that sort of exalt.

So, I have made my pre-preliminary Flaw Alocation:

Flaws:

-Eerie Presence (2 Points)
-Vengeful (2 Points) [Fetch]
-Enemy (2 points) [Denarians]
-Cold Breeze (1 Points)

Total: 2 + 2 + 2 + 1
=7

Background:

-Demonic Guide: 5
-Mentor 5: Michael {5 Free Background Point}

So that's 22 FP (15 + 7) - 5 (Raising Willpower to 10) - 5 (Demonic Guide) = 12 FP.

Any idea what to use it for?

Ah... just to be clear, you want to be vengeful against all fetches or just this one? Because just this one does not seem like much of a flaw given that you are about to smash into it like the wrath of an angry god.

Hahahaha, oh silly DP. Of course it's ALL Fetches. Why, surely if this thing who has severely harmed Molly to the point of near insanity, surely others of its kind are the same, yes?

At least, that's how I think Molly would reasoned it as.
I have only given the book a short look outside the Ifernal section, but are there no supernatural martial arts around atall?
Sidereals have "Secret Arts" which are basically Sidereal Martial Arts but very much weakened. They can teach it to other Exalted, but we haven't encountered any Siddes yet.

In Appendix One, Martial Arts at page 296, there is a Martial Art. It's not much, but it's there.
I would max dex to 5, but thats mainly since I don't know ExWoD Charms from back of my mind and Dex is always good.

Good idea or nah?
My man, we're playing Exalted. More Dexterity is always a collective aye.

Although I would spend it to Charm dots, if it were me.
