Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

Wrong:

Would someone in Mab's weight class be capable of taking a White Court demon out of a vampire?
Oh, absolutely. She could rip that thing right out of Thomas. Not that there would be much of Thomas left after she was done. Mab's not particularly gentle that way. It's possible that there might be some way to get out of it, maybe, but what fun would that be?

An example of where Mab would be deliberately, needlessly cruel simply because it would be fun.
Uh how's that needlessly cruel? That's not even something she did. That's amoral at best no where does it say she'd enjoy it.

How long does it usually take WoJ questions to be answered?

No; it says she's not gentle because being gentle means she wouldn't get her fun.

That tells us she gets her fun by harming people, that's she's a sadist.
To be fair, one could also interpret it as Jim Butcher asking where the fun in that would be, in terms of the storyline.

That is true… I am worried that the Will could materialize, kill someone (or several someones), dematerialize before anyone can respond, wash rinse repeat.
Dematerialising more or less requires it to stop and concentrate. Superspeed hit and run is more likely, as Semblance of the Ebon Dragon takes 3 yin chi per use, Black Wind only takes one demon chi per round.

Of course it could frenzy and that would be the best option for us as if it does so it most likely dies in a few rounds of all out offense.

Considering Jim makes remarks like that fairly often and the fact he's said that she can't be certain things before. Fairly sure your just reading it wrong.

Good point, I didn't know whether it would take time for it to do that. That could also work. How fast would it be going at that point?
I think there was also another power that was mentioned that it could have, that would be very bad for most everyone present besides Molly… Nihilus, was it?

Something else I just say in WoJ, confirmation that Molly's kidnapping and related events were indeed ordered by Mab and the Fetches weren't freelancing:

Ask yourself why Mab had Molly brought in. What chain of events did that set in motion? What secondary effects came about because of it? Ultimately, Mab can always go to the Wyld and draw in more muscle to replace fallen thugs. If worst comes to worst, with just a few "seed" fae, she could rear up enough Changelings to repopulate her cadre within a human generation or two–nothing, to a being thousands of years old.

Nihilus could kill everyone pretty quickly. Including the lesser akuma though, so the greater one may hold back.

Depend on how high its Black Wind Disciple is but if it uses speed as opposed to extra actions 6+ times its base speed in likely and remember this is a complex environment with plenty of things to block line of sight.

Of course depending on how confident it is with its capabilities it may just try to straight out melee blender it way though with Demon Shintai + Black Wind. Relatively few things are capable of surviving in direct combat against that level of capability so it will probably underestimate Molly.

I mean I never said she was good. Jim also calls mab the fun loving woman we all know. So fairly sure it's Jim making a joke. But, he also directly says that mab literally can't feel certain things.

Mab wouldn't care if the world went into nuclear winter she does in fact need to be combated at times. I'm just saying she's not malicious.

Keep in mind that the humans are the most vulnerable ones here.

If the hostage-takers decide to shoot the ghouls or vamps they'll propably survive and regenerate.
If they shoot the woman or baby those are gone for good.

Greater Akuma are immune to Fire Soul.
It will stay sane until it is dead or has won.

I forgot about that.

They also have a chi capacity of 30 for both yang chi and yin chi and 10 for demon chi.

So they may use the dematerialise hit and run trick, though if they do that everyone can just pile into the nevernever and kill it there.

Honestly if they didn't have hostages fighting it in the nevernever would be a good idea as the likely more open terrain would allow just gunning it down.

Edit:
I am assuming it is using magic in addition to the sunlight wards to avoid the normal dice penalties for being active during the day. If it doesn't then it won't be fighting anywhere other than the nevernever and inside buildings.

Only if you torture the quote. It says she's not gentle and talks about IC behaviour. It never even implies it's a meta answer. And WoJ very really is.
Also seriously torture it could easily be seen as Jim making a joke like he does with several quotes. Unless you think mab is a fun loving woman we all know and love. It also goes directly against a different word of god if that's how you interpret it.

If Mab was a 2e infernal her affinity Yozis would be Cecelyne and She Who LIves in Her Name as described in their excellencies. Not to say her personality overlaps with them perfectly, but the affinity is significant with both of them

Mab is a petty and cruel tyrant. We see her behave this way throughout the books, her relationship with Harry involves her being pettily cruel constantly, despite her actually wanting him as a minion.

Now she may believe herself to be a super rational pragmatist, but she doesn't actually act like that, despite Jim's claims otherwise.

Her actions in the books are totally consistent with her being cruel, sadistic and having a love of dominance games. Abusing someone you actually want as a minion before they are actually bound to serve is actively counter productive, yet Mab does it anyway.

Now you could try to justify her nastiness after Harry became Winter Knight as her wanting to abuse Harry into being a subservient tool, but given that it is pretty much how she behaved before, it probably is just her normal behaviour.

Ehh at no point do we see her actually enjoying said things though to her they just seem like chores. Which is you know horrifying in a whole other way.
