For the record:the 900 pages thing is due to lack of layout being done. Once text is shrunk and lsid out properly it will probably be somewhere in the 500 range.

Shrunk from 12pt text?

Also, 500 pages is still bigger than *checks* 2nd Ed. And that had illustrations and everything!

The single limitation to the Ex3 corebook size is international shipping. There's a specific limit based on weight categories - if the book is bigger than this limit, the shipping costs will inflate to the point that the Kickstarter will have operated at a massive deficit.

So, yeah, it's huge. It'll be as huge as it can be without running into this limit - if it turns out that the current text is too much for even Cabardo's layout wizardry to restrain within these limits, stuff will have to be cut out.

Also the text of 2e and indeed mosr rpg books is a loooooot smaller than 12 pt

Right, I have a feeling that whenever I ST a 3e game, crafters will be banned unless its in person so I can slap them if they try to get the infinite experience engine from creation. Whenever I play a game as a crafter, I'll be constantly trying to get Craft 5(Whatever I want to make).

I have decided that I wish to play a Twilight, whose motivation is to make an army of 100 Solar Doombot clones, all of which know Wyld-Shaping Technique, and then terraform the entirety of the Middlemarches into a giant, Creation-surrounding casino for raksha which they can gamble in instead of invading. :V

I have decided that I want to play a Eclipse who uses his supernal mastery of socialization to be just as talented as you are in crafting, as well as being an infamous pirate captain, a thief who steals all the Raksha's winnings and a thug whose mastered the art of punching you in the junk!

So your goal is to manufacture the equivalent of 200 N/A Artifacts.

Seems legit :V.

From what I have heard, the artifact scale has been smoothed and nerfed - I suspect (but I cannot vouch for that until I get to read the damn thing in its entirety) that a lot of 4-5 dots Artifacts from 2nd ed (even those of the 'not too terribly broken' persuasion) will count as N/A in 3ed.

It can't be any worse an idea than soulforging the Neverborn into a wall around Creation. :V

Eh, Creation already uses gambling as the main conflict resolution engine anyway, or did you think all those 'health levels' and 'willpower' and 'motes' were anything than parts of a game resolved by rolling the dice?

There's a hard xp cap per story, mind, so I *don't* think you'll become an avatar of real ultimate power any time soon.

For some reason that's giving me flashbacks to To Kindred of the Far East...
To be fair if she had taken the right flaw her po could have gone out and beat people up.
Or most likely either a Abyssal or infernal charm.
No, it just manifests inside her Devil-Domain - it is one of her souls, after all, and her Domain is essentially a sanctum nestled within or around her soul-structure, powered by her Exaltation. Her sapient mind is her hun, and in her Devil-Domain live her po, Dulmea (her Coadjutor), Echo (her Fifth Soul) and Rathan (her Sixth).

She met her po just after she looted literally everything not nailed down, plus the things that were nailed down, plus the nails from her Past Life's tomb, and it promptly stole it all and hoarded it possessively. When Keris went to get it back, she found that:

a) The po is the Id; the seat of her power, the source of her instincts and her capacity for true depth of feeling. Thus, the more possessive and angry about it taking her stuff she got, the more possessive of said stuff and angry it got.
b) Her po in particular manifests as a sixty-foot razor-feathered quetzalcoatl made out of blood-streaked silver, with green-burning eyes, wings the length of a schoolbus that can each cut through a building and very, very poisonous fangs the length of her arm.

Needless to say, Keris did not get her stuff back. And Dulmea had to rebuild quite a lot of the Domain's buildings. And Keris was grumbling for a week or so, and has been referring to it as "the bitchy snake" and similar epithets ever since.

Truly, she is the very model of a stable and harmonious soul hierarchy.

Question time, would it be possible to make a charm that turns your Coadjuter into a Third Circle Demon? 'Cause I've got some ideas along those lines but I'm not good enough to write it without help.

I was thinking of of basing it off of the Devil Tiger charm that already exists in The Broken Winged Crane, but with a minimum Coadjuter rank and maybe a few prequistes based off of Earthscorpion's Coadjuter rewrite.

It seems to me like it should be possible, certainly. They would certainly change dramatically in the process, but I take the view that the Devil-Tiger line of Charms should alter your UC anyway.
