How would you go about doing the opposite?
That is, a maximum-avoid-this-"combat"-nonsense-at-all-costs Solar.
Buy up your social stuff, small dip into Stealth to get the non-rogue stuff, then decide if you just want to rely on otherPCs/allies/retainers/etc or if you wanna dip into Sorcery to summon up allies , or Survival to have buff familiars, so you have someone to fight for you. Highly advised to dip into dodge (avoid being hit, and get away better) and ride (get away as fast as possible)(Bonus for Occult for some 'Not Die' tech)... Twilight (for the demon familiars, the teleport and the extra 'Not Die' tech) and Eclipse (primarily for the Oaths swearing, though the diplomatic immunity is useful too) both work.

(I have this amazing idea of going Twilight, as you progress, focus on Occult/Sorcery, pick up all the familiar survival stuff as you grow, grab a bunch of ride as well, befriend a siege lizard, equip it with a howdah, stand atop your siege lizard slinging spells, defended form any threats that can even reach you there by your demon bodyguards, slinging spells at anyone who opposes you....)
I've veered off course a bit...

Pure avoiding combat though, Eclipse, grab any social stuff that appeals, dodge for avoiding death, ride for moving fast, maybe some Atheltics for even faster, survival for a faster/stealthier mount, dip into stealth for the hidey stuff. If you find you have nothing else to spend your points on, go into occult for some 'not die' tech and sorcery for even more utility for survival/escape. Specialized artifacts geared towards dodging, escape, movement and hiding and associated evocation are also an option.

Modus Operendi, talk your way out of problems, trying to get people to make a non-aggression oath when possible, when talking fails, avoid the pointy ends of the other guys weapons and run away really fast on your super mount, hiding with your stealth if you really can't shake them for some reason.

Instant of a siege lizard, I'd go for a behemoth, a relationship I imagine would somewhat resemble this...

The dragonblooded have charms and excellencies to help them boost the strength of their allies.

But looking at the charm text, does anyone get the feeling that...... it's a bit weak?

Welcome to 2e's "lol you're DBs, you get shitty effects!" writing.

Frankly if I were you, I'd look up the 2.5 DB errata, which IIRC was called Thousand Correct Actions.

A lot of people joke about Sidereals punching people into ducks, and hiding in tea cups. Can they actually do those things, and how?

Hidning in cups is either an Astrology power, or God Ways from Prismatic Arrangement of Creatiion (A sidereal martial art). 'Duck punch' more accurately 'Pattern Spider Touch', one of the ending charms in Charcoal March of Spiders. It basically lets you do almost anything you want to the victim if the attack hits. I can't remember it's exact limits.

Zanchek, the Long-Armed
1st Circle Demon, Progeny of The Predatory Ideology

Metagaos has long been known as a hungry trap-maker, and his descendents are well-known for the patience they bear when hunting. The long-armed Zancheks in particular are infamous for lying in wait for weeks at a time until a foolish traveller enters their reach.

Physically, Zancheks can grow obscenely tall and have multiple arms, each as long as their bodies. They rarely move and are known to have some form of toughened skin. Beyond these facts, there is limited agreement, as a Zanchek emits a hallucinatory gas that twists the perceptions of anyone who does not possess an unselfish mind. The demon uses this to disguise its' nature, and forces the potential victim to perceive it as an appropriate mundane object. Most Zancheks prefer to disguise themselves as waterwheels, windmills or other large rotating structures. A desperate Zanchek may disguise itself as a tree, however this may reveal their nature as most trees do not constantly move their branches around.

Uses: Zancheks make for excellent strategic ambushers against mortal military formations, as they can obliterate infantry units and withstand even hails of arrows. Unfortunately, they are known to fare poorly against fast cavalry armed with large weapons. Zancheks gain limit if they are forced to change position without having ambushed anyone at that location.

AN: The reference shouldn't be too hard to spot, so I'll only award +0.5 Internet Points for naming it. Also, whilst looking for Metagaosian 3rd Circles to attach this to, I found one that was literally 'Ayn Rand's memetic philosophy', and decided it was too good to pass up. I particularly enjoyed having its' demons be a literal mental trap for those who embrace selfishness.

.....don quixote?

Yup! Clearly, Don Quixote was the only one noble-minded enough to see the giant demon for what it truly was, and bravely slew it despite the mockery of his companions.

*skims through Scroll of the Monk*

Pattern Spider Touch is pretty much the epitome of Bad Touch Shaping, letting you basically rewrite the enemy at will. The only thing it can't do is straight up Exalt someone although you can make someone think they are Exalted and if they have Charms, the imagery, if not the power or capability, will warp appropriately. Other than that, the broad memory changes of the rewrite on others wont effect the usual suspects and it apparently can't affect someone "under the direct protection of Primordials, Yozi, Neverborn, or Incarna."

You can also crack the effects(if the target still exists) via another Pattern Spider Touch or a use of an Endowment Charm.

Can you link to the 3rd Circle demon in question? Search failed me.
It'd be a Second Circle Demon, actually. Don't know if that helps. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going to go for FCD descriptions now that Onyx Path has purged the archive.

EDIT: Now that @Accelerator mentions it, "The Predatory Ideology" sounds like it could be one of the souls of The Idea Which Must Be Sold, one of Metagaos' Unquestionables from @EarthScorpion's Green Cherry Demonomicon.

I had a thought about some stuff, and I kinda need your help.

1. An artifact that you put under your pillow. When you go to sleep, it pulls you into a dreamland, enabling you to train within your sleep.

2. A charm for a dragonblooded, that lets him jack up his allies abilities to the same level as his.

1. Artifact 3, I'm thinking. Moonsilver threads with Wyld Essence woven in.

2. Look up Terrestrial (Ability) Reinforcement. That's basically what that Charm is supposed to do.

For the first, I'd assume that a version which lets you train Abilities, but not unlock Charms, is probably... 2 or 3 dots: the kind of thing you'd see in the hands of a prestigious family's favored child, passed down through generations.

The second one is fairly in-theme, but I'd have it carry one or two extra conditions. Something like needing multiple Dragonbloods to invoke the Charm as one in order to apply its effects to the mortals they're leading, with the Ability increase being somehow related to/limited by the individual scores of the people using the Charm. Alternatively, limiting which Abilities can be buffed to the user's Aspect Abilities - Earth Aspects can fast-track the building of forts and cities, Fire Aspects give their soldiers greater skill in battle, etc.

In any case, it should be temporary and have some limitations on how many an individual user can buff at one time (linked to Essence score?)
