Anko was also an adult, and she was pretty damn crazy.

At anyrate, it ain't just about hanging out with the mom's, it's about building connections with some clan heirs :D

Remember, we're not even 2 yet. So we can easily befriend those kids early!

That also means a wasted action if she does ignore us. Walking up to two new mothers to help them should be endearing, like a natural Big Bro. Walking up to someone and just smiling is freaking weird, imagine the Joker doing that.

We also don't even have any teeth, so I hope to god we aren't trying an open-mouth smile. Well, I think we don't have any teeth. I didn't read anything mentioning it, or I just don't remember reading it.

The problem with both the dogs and Anko and even the genin is that even if WE know they are cool, the concerned granny who nearly threw a fit over us giving a cough does not. And every ninja here is probably still wired with PTSD from Kyuubi. Mother hen + dutiful guard + twitchy ninja is a much more dangerous combination than it might seem even in a peaceful park.

Hell, the moms are probably dangerous too, but I expect some restraint from them if only because Umo will treat them as harmless and thus not provoke them.

If we're descended from Iron nobility... best that we make friends with those who can help mentor us later. Like Hayate who can teach us Kenjutsu and Kurenai who can teach us social skills.

Don't think anyone's mentioned it, but I would guess that the heirs in question are Ino and Shikamaru. Their birthdays are a day apart and in late September, making them the unquestionably newborn at this time. Plus, their families have been friends for generations, meaning it would likely be very common for them to go out together.
