Game of the Year: A Naruto Quest

Not a spy, looks like mom is a runaway Princess. Probably ran away due to us.

Because there's a good chance the "Game" won't fill in the memories or actually provide real practice to match his artificial skill. Plus, highly likely doing the tutorial will provide branching options so we can customize things.

So it looks like we're the bastard son of the king of the Land of Iron. I'm guessing that mom had to choose between flight and letting us be killed lest we cause a succession crisis down the line. This means in addition to being treated with suspicion by the locals due to our national heritage, we're also a high value target (both to prevent said succession crisis or as a puppet for someone looking to cause one), and we're persona non-grata in the Land of Iron.

We're on a Hard/Insane setting, on our first try. Fuck yes we're doing the tutorial.

Huh, ok. Our sire had a palace, indicating he was someone of great importance. Our mother also seems to be someone important, but for some reason came to Leaf, and Leaf was willing to make an agreement.

So, my guess is this...
1. Our father is the Iron royalty. Likely the daimyo, or perhaps the first in line to inherit.
2. Our mother is a noblewoman, based on how she asserts authority. One that is educated and competent.
3. In spite of the above, she left for Leaf, and Leaf agreed to take us in.
4. The "brute" is a fake father for us. He's a cover that will live with us - a fake version of the "Mom fell in love with a Konoha Shinobi and has come to live with them."

Most likely she wasn't our father's legal wife, but rather a mistress. We're a bastard, as suggested by the tutorial text. That may make us a threat to the line of succession in some way, which means staying in Iron might have meant lethal trouble for us. Leaf agreed to take us in because they might want to use us as a political pawn in the future, or because our mother had some intelligence to trade, or something along those lines, and she's ultimately fine with the deal because she loves her baby and will sacrifice all the luxuries in the world to protect him. If Iron finds out we're here, expect problems. Like assassins.

Like we skip it and we suddenly we have a scar and a trinket we have flagged as a key item, but we have no idea of its context.

And if Iron's enemies find out about us, they might kidnap us to use as a political pawn.

[X] No. You'll skip the tutorial and go right to the good part.
I've been a bit soured on playing out childhood.
