Hmm, politics politics politics. This would be a joke if it didn't involve clan kids. Then again, its not really a clan issue yet, and while we could escalate in indirect warfare and make our in group stronger than her in group...screw it that kind of stuff can last for years, even lifetimes.

Maybe its because I'm a guy, but I find a good old tussle can get things sorted quickly; Either they're willing to continue and you can escalate appropriately or they suddenly realize that being friends isn't so bad.

There is Yui, Hinata, and Sakura as valid females off the top of my head. Shikamaru and Chouji would be good guys to pull in, possibly Sasuke. 4 are clan heirs/2nd heir so that is a lot of political fire power. It also gets us socializing with more people then just Ino so build relationships with people we will work with in the future.

Also pulling in Sasuke gives him a support network once his clan bites it so he won't be so isolated.

Time to get some extra people in our circle, since, to be frank, we could use more friends.
 
Having a group of friends is usefull for us to because some of them may be our future team mates or connection to the clan heads. Plus if we are on top of social structure we could maybe help Naruto a bit

Don't hate on the Bee, his skills are really good in the original Japanese... They just don't translate well. Frankly, translyricism is a skill unto itself, and bee has a critical lack of someone with said skill.

Engaging in social war with a character (and assistants) who've specced into social? Long shot at best, though if we pulled it off it'd resolve the problem.

Not the worst of ideas, if we brought in Shikamaru and Choji and maybe a few others we could build a group that even Mariko wouldn't dare go after. Still, she's going after the Clan Heir - she's probably not aware that what she's doing is a terrible idea long term. Or she doesn't care.

Anyone have any good ideas?

Unless anyone comes up with something clever I'm on board with Plan Break Faces. Sometimes you've got to be prepared to escalate harder and faster than your opponent to cause them to blink first. And it's not like they've got much they can do, going to their parents would involve and awkward conversation with Inoichi about why Mariko was bullying his daughter.

Hm. Another possible approach would be pranks asymmetric warfare. After all, it'd be quite difficult for them to effectively puff themselves up and act important if everyone was laughing at them.

It might also introduce Naruto and Ino on a friendly basis.

Nah, break her, leave her isolated/as a social pariah, then raise her up showing nothing but friendship so she'll feel guilty for what she did before (meaning she won't retaliate once she's gotten back up to a reasonable social status).

I want that prim and proper achievement have since I saw it I love playing the social character and hey we chose to imperious.
