Okay, wow. Jesus H. Christ, I didn't know Scratch was gonna do it Hanma style, fuck!
Hehe. Well, he didn't try to kill Verge and then break his mothers back. So I think he's a little less brutal than what Baki's dad did.

But yeah, the sergeant's training was basically set to *hellish* mode. Verge only lasted because he's really really good at concentrating.
Finally, it seems Beat is really good at murder now.
Oh yeah, as a Stingmon he's geared up straight for murdering shit. He doesn't have much in terms of non-lethal options right now. Stingmon are widely considered assassins for a reason.

Wow that's a lot of champions.

[X] Stay back to protect Sparks. He can blast them while you defend him from harm. You'll fight together, and more importantly, stop your friend from getting hurt.
-[X] Stick with your claws and nose for now. Save your magical stamina for later in case you need to heal a lot more.

Protect the squishy mage! Also might want to save magic for heals since Verge would need to apply multiple of them to get any real effect.

"Fledgling Drimogmon," The sword snaps towards your face, causing you to reflexively move your nose to block it. "Your position is rearguard. Heal if necessary, help against chaff, and watch out for enemies sneaking around to the rear."

We already have our orders. Let's stick to them!

But holy smite is super effective, and the longer we take the more ready the next fight will be. Our party also has multiple healers.

Its just much more efficient to super effective nuke enemies than to fix the damage after

Don't we also have Crusher Bone as a ranged attack that doesn't draw on our magical stamina?
Presumably he'll be using it if he goes with the "guard Sparks" options but not with HLS. The HLS option is there because an undead Virus digimon has double vulnerability to it.

Edit:

And yeah, what @veekie said. Better to finish the fight quickly in order to assist others with their own fights and thus avoid needing to do any healing in the first place. Besides, Pidmon's healing is way better than ours.

Stick to the plan, nothing's happened that warrants changing it yet.

Holy Light Strike may be super-effective, but our special attack stats are our weakest traits. Ordinary Bakemon are trash-tier Champions, but they're still Special-focused Champions, which is something I'm not keen on going head to head against.

Something to consider is that for the purposes of the spell hitting something it's not special vs special (barring a barrier technique of some sort) but special versus fortitude.

-[X] You have your own ranged attacks now. Try and use your Holy Light Strike. It'll cut into your healing potential, but it should be extremely effective against undead digimon like this

Hmm.

On other hand, if we tap ourselves out on chaff when we're basically playing Cleric, that'll be a problem.

We'd also do that if we spend all the energy doing heals after.

These guys are specifically weak to Light and its a target rich environment.

Speed and momentum is crucial to hitting the rest of the fort before they get more organized. Its a raid, not a siege

So bakemon burn like curtains?
They're pretty weak champions who are aside from the ghost business are pretty much flying bedsheets.

So basically yeah.

Good enough for me then. Helping Sparks with this bunch and then cascading up should be a good move.

If the enemy composition was different I'd probably be in favor of charging in drills whirling. But since we have an attack with type advantage, lets use that.

Bakemon are not the mon we need to waste our magic on, we'll shield Sparks and let him wipe them out.

We can always recover our energy by loading destroyed enemies right?

Hmmm... okay, I think I'm going to change my vote given the new information available. Between us and Sparks, we'd be able to clear the undead mon in two rounds tops, due to Spark's overwhelming power, and our holy-aspected magical attack. And has been noted, if we load their data then we'll be able to regain the energy we used to continue fighting. That frees both of us up to help the others that much faster, which means they won't need as much healing.

But we are super effective on Bakemon and Sparks is not. Better to spend our MP so he can use his MP on targets that aren't weak against Holy and have crappy hp

As mentioned, loading any enemy we pop will keep us topped up. plus we're not the only healer on the team. I know Piddomon can heal, and I'm pretty sure someone else can too. this way Sparks doesn't burn his MP on the enemies we have the advantage on, preserving it for those he would need it for.
