@UberJJK your vote is slightly borked in the tally.
Are you referring to the in built tally? Because NetTally reads it just fine:

So... can someone explain to me what the EXP-Plan is about? Or rather, why?

First of all, we are likely to get In Memoir - The White unlocked with the next Update.
Secondly, CS already deals 6.5mil damage at the absolute minimum per action. What kind of Ability do you expect that would justify the spending on it? The only Upgrade it could still get is Double Cast to Triple Cast and we will not get a Super at the 20-milestone either way.

I mean, Starshine I get; giving that a bit more damage is fine with me, too. Celestial Severance really makes little sense to me, though. We no longer get EXP for killing tons of mooks, either. Spending should be careful from now on.

I can see your point (Alladin flashbacks aside) on CS. Starshine I would still like though. Exp Plan changed.

Isn't one of the missions like killing a million demons or something in a short period of time?

-edit-

Plus it upgrades the damage of our Peace super weapon if we do Celestial Severance.

The first one would require Starshine, but not CS.

The second one... we do not even know? I doubt that the Spell's level has any influence on the Progenitor Frame's main weapon. If we use it outside of the PFrame, I very much doubt we need more than 60mil-500mil damage minimum, depending on which Abilities trigger.

If you want to kill gods, it is more advisable to just get the appropriate Spell via synchronising, especially because Symphony of Peace can never affect an area big enough to punch through even just Edge of Mortality.

While the first part is true, in theory Symphony of Peace can punch through the third tier of Morality Barrier (hitting a moon from the surface of the planet it orbits is basically the very minimum edge of interplanetary range). Whether or not it would actually hurt a solar divinity in its current state is a completely different question.

I'm recommending that we upgrade both Starshine and Celestial Severance to level 20 mainly because of whatever milestone abilities they might unlock. If Celestial Severance doesn't have any level 20 milestones, I will apologize, but I figure that once we upgrade our spells to level 20, we shouldn't need to upgrade them again during the course of this quest.

That... uh... makes no sense for CS.

Look:
Celestial Severance
-A One-Hit linear attack that obliterates everything in it's path.
Level 17
Base Damage: 3,276,800
Magic Modifier: 450
Affinity: Purity | Divinity
Ability: Unstoppable | Prime Evil Slayer | Double Cast | Echo
Looking at this, the only Ability that can evolve on a milestone is Double Cast; everything else already has its strongest form. Its range will never change and the Spell has four Abilities already, of which we know this is already exceptional as far as MGs go. The next important milestone is very likely to be the Super Ability, which can not be gained before lvl40.

If lvl20 was a prerequisite for another Item in the Shop, we probably would have at least been given a hint to that before.

Additionally, it deals six million damage without any of its additional Abilities activating. The amount of non-DB things capable of surviving it even once is small.
Nepgear can spam it thanks to Calamity Circuit.

So... in my opinion, there is really no need to increase Celestial Severance ever again.

I'd argue it's better to at least wait until we finish In Memoir - The White, since there's a chance it might unlock a new option in our XP shop.
In Memoir - The White
-The White Goddess....
-????
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Better save our XP for it, especially since we don't really need those two spells upgraded atm.

Symphony of Peace when used through Core Purge, inherits the traits of the spell it was used with.

Thus, Starshine-based one would have Target-Army on it, otherwise known as "ungodly huge AOE", in addition to Rain of Light and Quadra-Magic.

Meanwhile, even based-on-50-meters-range Celestial Symphony can reach into orbit (like, 1000x the range at least).

I speculate that Starshine Symphony has the potential to be sufficiently large as to go past Morality Barriers.

3508---4385---5481---6851 base damage, x11 Rain of Light, +500 Divine Power, x4 Quadra-Magic, x500 Target-Army, x10 Core Power = 75361+500 x 20000 = 151'722 x10'000 = 1'517'220'000 damage

Or just 3'034'440 without Target-Army.

Um... it is just a small beam, though; not big enough to go through, even if it has the damage.

That aside, increasing the damage of an attack that will exhaust Nepgear when used even just once is unnecessary; it already kills everything non-divine.

And again, there is a Spell dedicated to hurting Divine Beings waiting to be synchronised. I would rather go for that to kill gods instead of trying to force CS into the role.

Naron, but I am not speaking about CS.

I am trying to see if Core-boosted Starshine can fit into anti-Divine-being role.

Not true. Multiple times buying something has surprised unlocked items. For example the following:
Interceptor Fire
Anti-Air Beam
Long Range Bombardment
Covering Fire
Were all locked behind Applied Techniques without the slightest hint. Similarly Calamity Core was locked behind Severance: Echo and we'd never have known if it wasn't spoiled in advance for us.

Given the themes involved with how Magical Girls growth I strongly suspect hitting the effective gap for a Spell will have some effect. For all we know Celestial Severance could undergo something similar to Ability Evolution and turn into a new more useful spell*.

*I don't think we've hit our target with Celestial Severance for IRL years. Which makes sense since it reached the OHKO point long ago and that kinda spoils fights. That actually makes it a prime candidate for Ability Evolution I think.
