The story is currently at the October of Taylor's sophomore year (Taylor says "It is October now, so we are saying goodbye to summer" during the tea ceremony). It's still before Worm canon starts.
Does that mean that when canon worm starts and Taylor got stuffed in the locker (if she gets stuffed) either Oni Lee, Lung, or Ammy will go ballistic?

At worst, the trio might possibly finagle to have that section of hallway clear of ABB and shove her in there, but it couldn't last long and would probably lead to Sophia being outed when several dudes rushed her on the way to rescuing Taylor, within a few minutes at most. More likely, "bad luck and coincidences" dissuade them from even making the attempt and the locker is mysteriously squeaky clean if they ever even got as far as piling stuff into it.

Possibly, in that anything is possible, but I highly doubt it will happen. Canon has been gloriously derailed.

Notice that Sophia never came back to Winslow (because Danny showed his teeth and pointed out her character witness was a bad one, i assume, so she didn't get the same Wards Probation Deal), the ABB affiliated students are keeping an eye on Taylor (from self interest if nothing else), and the staff at Winslow are being a bit more attentive thanks to Glorious Old Man Henrick Paragon Interrupt. Tis why she notes at start of chap 14, a week after her first encounter with Boorish Dragon, she can turn homework in undamaged and eat in cafeteria unmolested by Emma.

So, highly unlikely Canon Locker Incident would happen, as Emma is specifically noted as more vicious, frazzled, and bolder but more ineffectual due to student and teacher interception.

Dinah's kidnapping in canon happened during the story proper when the Undersiders robbed a bank while the Protectorate members were at a formal ceremony. Said bank robbery distracted the Wards and took the headline to the point that the fact the Mayor's niece was missing too months to notice.
IIRC the last part of that is fanon. Dinah's kidnapping was the headline on the next day's paper, with the bank robbery buried in the "A" section. The robbery was only a distraction as it was happening.

Just had a thought.

When Taylor snaps at Lung for not dressing up for tea, he sheepishly admits that he doesn't own any shirts. Turning into a rage dragon whenever something upsets him ruins whatever he's wearing and makes clothing a huge expense, and in fact the only reason he's running the ABB at all is so he can generate sufficient income to keep himself in pants. Running a gang means going rage dragon even more often, though, so it's a vicious cycle.

He needs a pair of stretchy purple pants. I'm sure some geeky Tinker has figured that out.

I'll be surprised if Sophia and/or Emma do nothing, but I'd be shocked if this went "canon-almost-happened-but-not-quite" in terms of something like the Locker very nearly happening. I find it a lot more likely that Emma will try to arrange something happening outside of school grounds, for one, given that the school system is no longer implicitly endorsing the bullying and ABB students are interfering with it. The easy bet is "Arrange for word to reach the Empire that Taylor Hebert is a 'race traitor'." (Though this requires she first become aware of Miko Taylor being a thing)

Given Emma's trauma circles back to the ABB, it's pretty easy to imagine her feeling Betrayed by finding out Taylor is apparently cozy with a bunch of Japanese grandmas EVIL ABB MONSTERS.

Of course, it'd be a lot more in-character with Constellations for it to be like

-Emma stumbles into shrine

-"Huh. Weird pla-IS THAT TAYLOR WHAT THE FUCK wait ahem, Hi Taylor let me make cutting remarks about you slumming it in the slums because you're slummy. I will now imply you are a slut sleeping with the Asian boys. Also, SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FUCK"

-"... this is a sacred (probably she'd use a different, less religious word) place Emma, and I would appreciate it if you were better behaved." disapproving glare, backed by Baachan horde

-"
Oh? So I'm not welcome here?" some form of unpleasant insinuation, ignore grannies

-"What? No. My personal differences with you have no place here. If you insist on being unpleasant, I will have to ask you to leave, but all are welcome here." Baachan horde makes it 100% clear this is Taylor's shrine

-brainfart "Uh." why isn't she cringing or being mean back and wait she owns this place what??? "... wait, you own this?"

-"Er. Sort of? I'm, uh, I manage it I guess?" Sunny wags her tail, distracting people strategically for some arcane purpose known only to her

-so she could throw me out. But she isn't? suspicious glare and more meanness

-Ultimately turns into Emma leaving in a huff, yet somehow these events lay the groundwork for Emma to be healed...

-... which isn't to say they'll become friends again or anything, the point is that the ugliness between them would finally stop

(I lost momentum after "suspicious glare" okay?)

How/why would Sophia do anything, she doesn't even go to the same school.

Because she's "friends" with Emma? Because she's borderline sociopathic and hurts people to make herself feel better on general principle? Because she's Shadow Stalker, and so she has greater-than-normal ability to sneakily make unpleasant things happen? Because the Trio's cronies at school may still listen to her if she texts them?

(I don't remember off the top of my head if Sophia is locked up in Constellations or simply got a less good deal than in canon, so her capacity for direct action may be lesser than I'm suggesting here, but the potential for people to do it because she wants it done remains regardless)

Pretty sure Sophia goes to Winslow at least normally. She might have recently gotten caught, but she should still be going there.

She got caught pinning people to a wall with crossbow bolts. She's not walking the streets any time soon.

Sophia is gone. Not even in Brokton anymore. She's been put on a bus never* to be seen again.

*or at least until much much later in very different circumstances.

Was going to say something about how nothing affected that in canon and how she didn't miss that many school days originally, but then I remembered the last of the Old Man Interupt affects! Danny countering Mr. Barnes's character witness statement.

She might still not be gone but she's probably on a much tighter leash.

That is not in BB.

They were content to just let Sophia go to juvie in canon before Mr. Barnes character witness painted her in a better picture. Now Mr. Barnes character is also called into question and Sophia was given enough time for her more unpleasant qualities to be revealed, so I imagine she should by all rights be in juvenile detention.

I wonder how many beads Taylor has already collected.

You would be surprised at how many things the Japanese generally do not speak about around those outside their Circles, especially when it comes to people of other Cultures.
Maybe, and if there was a cohesive and isolated Japanese culture in Brockton Bay they might keep silent on the issue ...which as I pointed out several posts back is only going to make Taylor seem like a parahuman who forced Lung to give her what she wants because there's no way the incident is going to be kept secret.

In order for it to leak, somebody witnessing it would have to leak it. No witnesses exist who would do such a thing. Not even Lung's driver.

Nope. In order for it to leak, someone who knows something about the incident needs to mention it. Given how many people know about it even BEFORE Lung starts telling everyone about the safe sidewalks(which he must in order to keep his promise) and the fact that even IF the Japanese community in BB managed to keep themselvs isolated and maintain most of their culture (which the ABB in general and the state of the shrine in particular indicate is not the case) some of the people who know a bit about what happened will be non-japanese members of ABB, and the more the Japanese keep silent the more everyone else will speculate and spin theories.

Um. Hi. I was reading this at five in the morning and I just had a thought - are fighting robots in the antweight and/or beetleweight classes affected by his power? Because Danny getting some of those might be kind of cool. I don't quite remember how Chessman's power affects the combat capabilities of his models, but if there is a power boost then some of the ones with bar and drum spinners - or flippers, come to that - could do interesting and horrible things to, say, ankles. Or they could be dropped onto people from drones. Or they could be drones. Helicopters have spinning blades on them anyway, what harm is another one underneath gonna do? Especially if Danny's power just makes it sort of ignore physics. =]
