This quest is excellent!

And I found it in time for the great finale. Darn. Question: Would the rocket launcher vehicles that Akemi used in the series be effective against the familiars if ridden by Lancelot? Akin a artillery barrage, instead of unleashing Gae Bolg?

Command Seals are rare, after all.

Overhead, the sound of thunder gives way to the maddened cackling which has haunted your nightmares for an eternity, and the sky is split with fire and lightning as the devil makes her approach. It's so much bigger than you remember it being in the past. Six flashes of light follow, as you and your teammates change into your battle costumes. "This time," you say, as a wave of your hand conjures a procession of rocket launchers and machine guns for Berserker to use as he pleases. "I'll end this for sure."

"Akemi-san, we're ready whenever you are."

High above your head, the laughter of Walpurgisnacht echoes to infinity as a black rain falls from its upside-down mouth. The black ichor falls, taking shape is it plummets to the ground, and the droplets form together into the shapes of many figures as they near the ground; black shadows of fallen puella magi, twenty-three in total. So, the witch is bringing its black familiars to bear first in this fight. "Right," you say to Tomoe-san. "Hit them all with everything you've got."

As soon as you've spoken, Archer is gone. "I'm going up to get a better view of the battlefield," are his only words. You can sense the tug of his mana from the rooftop of a skyscraper some kilometer or so away , but he's long escaped what your eyes can see; and not a moment too soon. The instant Archer is out of sight, the familiars make their move. Twenty-three bodies, each one formed from the curses spewed forth by Walpurgisnacht, charge in unison with weapons drawn. A dazzling array of swords, spears, bows and arrows, axes, and staves are swung down upon you and your team.

There are far too many familiars for each of you to take individually, and your party breaks the moment the attack is commenced. Tomoe-san propels herself into the air, firing off ribbons in all directions. Those ribbons aimed at you and the others contain spells of Wunjo to empower you for the fight ahead, while those ribbons aimed at your foes become muskets, raining a hail of bullets down into the fog of war. Familiars leap out of the way of Tomoe-san's barrage, only for their evasive action to be met by the clashing blades and searing flames of Kyouko and Nagatsuki Miyuki.

Kirika and Assassin surround you, and with shredding claws and slicing daggers they keep your foes at bay long enough for you to bring out your biggest guns. Your shield spits out a truck and a pair of missile launchers; the launch pads for your Type 88 Surface-to-Ship missiles and Harpoon anti-ship missiles. They were the biggest guns you could borrow from the Maritime Self-Defense Force at the start of this timeline, and you've been saving them for this moment. The fact that you have an ally this time around who can make better use of them than you can is just icing on the cake. "Berserker! Are these big enough for you?"

"Of course!" Berserker draws his sword, using it to fling himself over the crowd of familiars on a burst of mana. The ground shatters as he lands at your side, and he plants his sword into the ground before a mass of black tendrils sprout from his back, connecting with each of your missile launchers. The faded olive green becomes a roiling black and red as Berserker assumes direct control.

"Caster!"

"Rider!"

"Lancer!"

"Berserker!"

Tomoe-san, Kyouko, Mikuni Oriko, and Kirika all cry out their commands in unison. "Fire!" Lancer is the first into action, surrounding her fellow servants in rings of blue fire which form into the shape of runes. Even from where you are standing, you can feel the power radiating from Lancer's runes, as Caster, Rider, and Berserker each commence their attacks in unison.

"Witness the defense of Uruk, the greatest and richest of cities! The deluge of the land is my will! Melammu Dingir!" Caster slams his hand against the ground, causing a great golden wall to rise from the south, firing on Walpurgisnacht in a shower of gold.

From its place on his back Rider removes his shield, and with a great whistle he calls on his chariot, rocketing towards Walpurgisnacht with all haste. "To oppose this shield is the same as making the world your opponent! Akhilleus Kosmos!"

Berserker makes no claim of his own, no boast as he activates the Noble Phantasm comprised of your missile launchers. The endless screams of the missiles as they escape their launch pods targeting Walpurgisnacht is enough.

Joining this multitudinous barrage is a single screaming arrow, Archer's, fired from his vantage point on high. Together, the barrage from Caster, Rider, Berserker, and Archer collide against Walpurgisnacht with a deafening crash. Against a normal witch, victory would have been assured from such a strike, but you know better than to assume here. When the smoke from the onslaught fades, Walpurgisnacht is still standing, still laughing. Its blue vestments have been shredded, revealing the intricate clockwork comprising its upside-down body, and its metal components have been marred with scorch marks, but the devil remains in the sky, undeterred by the strike.

Back on the ground one shadow in particular, holding in its hands a massive warhammer, has its eyeless sight fixed on Mikuni Oriko. For every strike of its cumbersome weapon, Mikuni Oriko counters, bringing up a barrier to block the attack before returning fire with a barrage from her drones. The familiar dodges out of the way of its foe's strikes, and the pair dance back and forth like this unimpeded by the flurry of combat surrounding them, until at last a barrage from her drones connects that leaves the familiar looking like a shot-out practice target. At last, the herd has been thinned.

If only it were that easy.

If it were possible for creatures without mouths to smile, then you and your team would have been facing down an army of grins, as each of the broken familiars stands back up, their wounds healed to completion.

"Be careful everyone!" Mikuni Oriko cries out. "They can regenerate!"

"Then we'll just have to destroy them all at once!" McRemitz-san tears away the glove at her right hand, holding her fist high as she screams "Lancer! By my Command Seal, I order you to use your Noble Phantasm! Destroy the familiars in a single strike!"

"Now that's an order I can get behind!" The blue-clad Lancer calls out as the overwhelming power of his master's Command Seal overtakes his body. Like a sprinter before the race he perches, before springing into action. You can see the muscles in Lancer's arm tense as he pulls back, his spear poised to strike. "Hit the deck!" he calls, and no foolish servant or puella magi needs to be told twice as the "Gáe Bolg!" leaves the Lancer's grasp.

The collision of Lancer's spear with the throng of familiars produces a deafening shockwave. Concrete is torn to shreds and thrown in all directions. Quickly, Mikuni Oriko brings up her barriers just in time to deflect the debris from Lancer's spear strike. When the dust settles, the familiars are nowhere to be seen; but in their place there are now puddles of black corruption staining what remains of the southern pier.

And through all this, you have yet to see a single pink hair from Saber.

"I have bad news." This, of all times, you would hate to speak of the devil, but here Saber is right when you were thinking of her. But why is she on fire? The fire fades, leaving Saber no worse for the wear as she says "So, I was using my Book of Five Rings Noble Phantasm to check out Whataburger Night over there, and it's not looking good. Basically, it has no weak points that I could see. Best we can do is snap the doll part off of the gear part, but that'll do us more harm than good."

"Then how do we defeat it?" Nagatsuki Miyuki asks her servant.

"We just have to keep hitting it until we've worn it down," Saber says. "If I put this thing into terms you girls would understand, then it's got, like, eight billion hit points... Er, well, a lot, at any rate. Not really sure of the exact amount, but we're gonna be here for awhile. We should also be on the lookout for any buildings being thrown at us, since that's Whataburger's primary means of attacking us. At least while it's upside-down."

And then Walpurgisnacht threw a building at everyone.

Well. I hope that motivates ya to make a sequel
This quest is excellent!

And I found it in time for the great finale. Darn.
Well, there is a sequel in the works, but we have to get the Good End in order to go on to the sequel. I'm also debating whether it would be worth it to do a sequel, since so far this quest has mostly been carried on the back of a single person, and I'd really like to see greater participation from the audience.

Mostly because I can't make detailed plan as well as Enetious

Neither can Twix, but like Enetious and I have been saying for over a year now, it doesn't matter how complex your vote is or whether yours is the "winning" vote; it's enough for me to see that contribution from the audience. Even if you don't think it's good enough, if it gets the players talking or if Enetious decides to steal it for his own vote, that's good enough for me.

Eh. Is the building dodgeable? How big is it? Is it, like, say a shack? Then I'd say Dodge.
Else, if it's a Skyscraper? Has maybe Archer something that is able to reflect the force of an attack?

Uh... isn't this supposed to be multiplied by like a hundred or so due to it being fired from Alcides' bow? 🤔

Also sorry for the late post, haven't had access to a computer for a while. Will draw up a plan in a bit.

It's possible that the countdown is when to changes from upside down to upright. Which will probably do a whole lot of damage, maybe spread curse mud everywhere?

Not from what I'm seeing, at least not explicitly. I see no mention of the bow by itself causing the arrow to multiply, unless you meant for Archer to use the laser ballista used in Prisma Illya- In which case, why have him use an arrow in the first place when he's firing lasers? From the description on the wiki, what I already knew of how Berserker Heracles Nine Lives works, as well as knowledge of the real-world myth, I assumed it was a technique for rapidly firing multiple arrows near-simultaneously, rather than the "bow causes the arrow to multiply" that you're asserting it to be. The closest I found was this line here,
"a high speed attack consisting of nine consecutive strikes, as swift as if the attacks are overlapping."
but see the above for why I assumed it was supposed to be for firing many arrows in succession rather than a self-replicating arrow attack. However, you only specified that Archer would shoot the one Boneless Man, and if it was your intention to invoke a self-replication ability that I'm not seeing from the link you gave me, you should have made note of that.

I can change it, but either way it won't make as much of an impact as I think you're thinking it will. You can think of Wally like an FGO boss with at least 9 break bars blocking us from one-shotting her. I should probably go back and have Saber make that clearer, but since FGO doesn't exist in this universe I'm not sure how to make her verbalise that.

It's mentioned multiple times, in many of the sources that's referenced in the link I used, that the Nine Lives Heracles gets when summoned as an Archer Servant is explicitly a simple bow and arrow set. It is not a hundred physical arrows that he's carrying around on his back; it's not like the Archer version of himself has the necessary bulk that his Berserker form has for that, anyways.

The entire methodology of Nine Lives is that as an attack - whether it be used with a bow and arrow, a sword, a shield, or anything else as told in many interviews with Nasu - flickers something with Godspeed to the point that Heracles can strike at multiple points nigh simultaneously; as close as one can get without infringing on the Second Magic like Tsubame Gaeshi. The further it gets from its original style of using a bow and arrow, the slower and less effective the technique becomes which is why Heracles can only strike from nine different points effectively when using it with a bladed weapon.

Nowhere in the technique does it stipulate that it's a technique that allows Heracles to draw a hundred arrows near simultaneously, or even anywhere near that; that would be an entirely different type of power that would have to enhance Heracles' form itself, time alter style since the technique isn't instantaneous. It only ever references the Noble Phantasm's effect on the weapon it's being used on itself. What it should've done was flickered Boneless Man into a hundred different places to the point of allowing it to strike at Walpurgisnacht more than once, much like the degraded bladed version but on a larger scale due to the NP being used for its intended purpose.
I can change it, but either way it won't make as much of an impact as I think you're thinking it will. *cough cough* On a much less ranty note (seriously, that's just the Nasuverse-ese talking):
EDIT: I just was made aware of some very important information. Xanthus, the divine horse gifted to Achilles by Poseidon and one of the three horses that pulls his chariot... can talk. This is very pertinent, obviously. Xanthus is very quiet and introspective, talks very respectfully (calling people like Achilles and Chiron "Lord [Name]"), and is wise enough to bring up important information that Achilles may have missed. Also in Achilles' own words, "Xanthus has a history of blowing smoke up your- *is bucked off of or kicked by Xanthus*". He's also aware of strategy games and game mechanics, such as tech trees (guess he had access to the stuff on the Throne of Heroes; not too surprising considering many a Heroic Spirit reads up on others after death but before being summoned). This is absolutely game changing! /s
this is totally Xanthus' time to shine. All of that gamingstudying on the Throne of Heroes is finally paying off for him. Just have Musashi rightly stumble over the right video game mechanic to compare it to, and allow Xanthus to make a more accurate deduction. :V

EDIT: Onto the plan. Thanks to the curse of Gae Bolg, the familiars shouldn't be able to regenerate or heal anytime soon thankfully... if they're still around, that is.

[X] Plan Don't Give Her Any Respite
-[X] Miyuki: Continues to be on defensive duty
--[X] Saber: Covers Lancer using her Book of Earth, deploying it in-between anything that would try to interrupt her charge at Walpurgisnacht
-[X] Homura: Momentarily time-stops for a few seconds while she's still connected to everybody through Mami's Wunjo ribbons in order to have everyone avoid the building flying towards them; sets up with Mami
--[X] Archer: Before Lancer goes to strike, projects Hippolyta's "Goddess of War: War God's Military Sash" for Lancer's use; fires off a broken "Durindana Pilum: Ultimate Unbroken Spear" from Alcides' bow
--[X] Assassin: Continues her guard duty, proactively attacks regenerating mounds of ex-Walpurgisnacht familiars
-[X] Oriko: "Lancer, by my Command Seal I order you to see Walpurgisnacht as Sigurd whenever you are using your Noble Phantasm. Lancer, by my second Command Seal I order you to use your Noble Phantasm on Walpurgisnacht to destroy her."; sets up with Mami
--[X] Lancer: Uses "Brynhildr Romantia: Until Death Divide the Two Apart" on Walpurgisnacht
-[X] Kyoko: Links spears in her barrier chains to strike at the cursed stuff that makes up Walpurgisnacht's familiars, makes sure that they can't reform
--[X] Rider: Rides in following Lancer to use "Troias Tragōidia: Tempestuous Immortal Chariot" on Walpurgisnacht, takes OG!Lancer along for the ride
-[X] Mami: Sets up for a reinforced Tiro Fulmine with Oriko and Homura to fire at Walpurgisnacht once the initial volley is done and over with, lets Berserker take control of it to fire it
--[X] Caster: Attempts to bind or restrain Walpurgisnacht using something from the Gate of Babylon, such as the prototype to the chains that bound Prometheus in Greek mythology, or something to bind Wraith-like existences; if Walpurgisnacht has some realm of Divinity by virtue of her sheer power and legend - and hasn't devolved into the transformation of becoming a Beast - then use the Chains of Enkidu
---[X] Use "Ig-Alima: Green Field Cutting Through the Thousand Mountains" and "Sul-sagana", showing Walpurgisnacht the wrath of Sumer
-[X] Kirika: Continues doing her job, protects the waifu and sisteru; may create chains of claws to help Assassin out if needed
--[X] Berserker: Sets up for another barrage at Walpurgisnacht, uses the reinforced Tiro Fulmine boosted with his Noble Phantasm to attack Walpurgisnacht
-[X] Bazett: Protects the other Masters while she prepares to use her Mystic Code Airgetlám for when after Walpurgisnacht has hopefully been weakened by OG!Lancer's Noble Phantasm (next turn)
--[X] OG!Lancer: Hops into Rider's chariot and uses "Gáe Bolg: Barbed Spear that Pierces with Death" on the center of Walpurgisnacht's gear (since he actually doesn't have to target the heart with it)

Brynhildr's Noble Phantasm is noted as being able to kill even a Goddess at her maximum love, which seeing Walpurgisnacht as Sigurd would definitely entail. That combined with being boosted by a Command Seal?

Even if Alcides' bow is ruled as not working like the other Nine Lives for some reason, it's still extolled as being able to boost even regular arrows enough that they could shatter Gilgamesh's armor and leave behind massive shockwaves.

Anything anyone else wants to add? The attack order will go roughly: Lancer & Caster (Restraints) -> Rider, OG!Lancer, & Caster (Offensive) -> Archer -> Berserker and friends collab. That should be spaced out enough to not run into the same "break bar"... right? Not that a break bar is exactly realistic in a non game environment, but eh.

EDIT2: Actually, found this to clear things up:
Fate/strange Fake said:
False Archer fires a barrage of weapons at True Archer, but True Archer either shoots them out of the air or expertly twists his body to protect himself with the Pelt of the Divine Beast. True Archer then loads an arrow coated in Hydra venom into his bow and fires it while using the Noble Phantasm Nine Lives, causing the arrow to turn into nine arrows that twist through the air seeking their target. False Archer says he can easily counter the attack, but is shocked when his Gate of Babylon portals suddenly close. He gathers the weapons he has already summoned and tries to deflect the arrows, but a loud roar sounds that distracts him with fear. An arrow pierces his shoulder, arm, and leg before spears of earth rise from the ground to deflect the rest.
So yeah, Nine Lives does just practically multiply the projectile that's fired from it, at least temporarily. Neat.

I don't even think it's worth it for me to address what you're saying, because your version of what I said is so off the mark of what I was trying to say that I'd need to spend twice as long trying to correct you as I would in trying to address my own point. But the short of it is, how the fuck am I supposed to figure this

out when there's nothing on the page you linked me that would indicate this is how it's supposed to work.

Oh, I just edited my post, didn't realize you posted while I was editing. Apparently in strange fake it actually does just multiply the arrows shot from it. Alcides OP. 😅

I don't think I see anything wrong with this. But it's also approaching morning and I haven't slept yet, so....

[X] Plan Don't Give Her Any Respite

Well here's to hoping this doesn't trigger any hidden death flags.

On a different subject I understand your hesitance to start the sequel when there's so little audience participation. I do have to say that while I don't mind tossing my vote in, actually coming up with a plan is rather daunting. I would suggest for a sequel you change how you set up the end of chapter votes. Instead of a simple "[ ] Wat do?" you could provide a number of options for us to pick between like you did at the beginning of the first story. Now I'm not sure if doing so will draw in many more people as you would be working on a sequel of a sequel, but it would certainly make it easier for those of us that are here to participate.

I HAVE JUST READ THIS ENTIRE STORY IN FIVE DAYS AND I AM FINALLY CAUGHT UP!!! OH GOD THERE WERE SO MANY WORDS!!!!

Also

[X] enetious

I can only imagine how many notifications SVS got from me for liking every chapter more or less...

Also, and this might have been in a discussion somewhere, but what ever happened to the madoka style bow attack we showed Archer once?

On hyrushoten's note, maybe it would be a good idea to pull a very soft "reboot" after a slight time skip if you end up doing a sequel, SVS? Like, you'd write things from Homura's POV (as per usual) as if it's the start of a story, as if no one knows what's going on, in order to allow newer people to hop on in on the action.

And speaking of newer people,
I HAVE JUST READ THIS ENTIRE STORY IN FIVE DAYS AND I AM FINALLY CAUGHT UP!!! OH GOD THERE WERE SO MANY WORDS!!!!

welcome! I have no idea why so many people are suddenly catching up all at the same time during the climax of the quest, but welcome! Congrats on reading a million word quest in so little time, that's insane. :)

Also... was there a madoka-style bow attack? I can't recall whatsoever, but then again this quest has been ongoing for quite some time (it hit it's 2 year anniversary not too long ago), and it's like a million words as previously stated. 😅

Hello hello Great and oh mighty Enetious, who I SWEAR IS THE ONLY PLAN THAT EVER OCCURS HOLY CRAP!!!!

I've been a part of a number of quests for close to a year but have never seen it where it's LITERALLY one person (and occasionally two) that are the only ones with the winning vote. For a matter of fact, I was kind of flabbergast that there were so few participants. I would be honoured if I could contribute, even if it is a few possible suggestions in the closing arc of this story.

As for *why* all the sudden... well...

I was looking for new quests to read as I usually do between visual novels (i actually put the final higurashi VN on hold when I started reading this). I think at some point I found this quest maybe three or four months ago but when I clicked on the newest post it was Kirika getting study advice from Archer and it left me going ??? WHAT IS THIS??? In addition I had started to read PMAS so I was hesitant at first to read a second madoka quest since i'd have conflicting characters to keep track of.

I also only tend to go for long stories (think 700k+ words), so the fact that this is broken into two parts is what made me find the length to be different and put it lower on my priority list.

I thoroughly love this quest, and actually would love if there is a sequel. I know that there is a lack of participants in general, but I would try my best to be an active poster. I might not be able to make the long votes, but I WILL make suggestions (even if they are inane) for just about every chapter. Though, you would just have to take my word for it.

I think an earlier message about the lack of direction with the vote is what makes the voting just plain hard. I've done long votes like Enetious has done before for other quests but it seriously requires a LOT of effort each time without having a minimal amount of direction to start with... or at least a suggestion from the QuestMaster.

NOW! As to Enetious' question... let me go find it. Give me a minute or two to find the quote.

P.S. I'm also dragging another friend into this, so in about two months he'll be reading the completed work (and hopefully the sequel... he is also an active poster).

P.S.S. I'd like to commission fanart, if you don't mind, SVS, of Assassin, Homura, Archer and Amy having breakfast. Let me know if that's cool!

@Enetious

Found it! Took me forever

You neglect to answer his question, instead replying with your stated intentions for the weapon. "Archer. I am going to use this bow and attempt to see if I can create a projectile whose form does not require I keep a specific image in my mind." Archer continues to look on, but offers no complaints to your course of action.

You bring Madoka's bow to level with the target, and focus mana into your hand as you draw back on a string that doesn't exist. The bow offers a faint resistance to being drawn, and while you manage to draw back, no projectile has formed. Your mind races for an explanation; perhaps only Madoka can use this bow, and no matter how hard you try you will never succeed. If that is the case, then this is as far as you can go with your attempts.

But, perhaps there is something else you can try. What is it that Archer says, as he draws back his bow to Project one of his heavier weapons? "I am the bone of my sword"... It's a long shot, but perhaps a similar mantra will aid you as you attempt to wield Madoka's weapon.

As you draw back on the string that doesn't exist one more time, your thoughts go to that image in your mind of Madoka. What can you say that will lend strength to your actions? After some thought, only one phrase comes to mind. This weapon is not yours to wield; it belongs to Madoka, and no other. But as long as you are here, as long as you are able to fight, then you will wield this weapon for her, so she does not have to. So you whisper, "I am the arrow of Madoka's bow."

Your hand is alight with mana, bursting, crackling, roaring like a great inferno, taking the shape of a giant arrow. You release your hold, loosing the monstrous projectile, which scorches the earth underneath it as it screams towards, and eventually tears though, the thin cardboard target.

You fall to your knees, short of breath and feeling drained. A quick glance towards your Soul Gem reveals just how draining that last attack was, and you hastily apply a Grief Seed to sop up the overflowing corruption within. This one is almost full, but you'll chance to hold onto it for a little while longer if it means not alerting the Incubator to what you're doing. Granted, the chance is high that he already knows, but you see no reason to turn a likelihood into a guarantee if you don't have to.

"Okay, before you go trying that again, master, I need to know; what the hell was that?"

"I told you before, Archer. I wanted to try making a projectile that didn't require I keep a specific image in my mind."

"And, do you know why it acted the way that it did?"

"I do," you reply. Given the totality of everything Archer has taught and told you, the answer is obvious. "First, I disobeyed your instructions and gave more thought to Madoka than I needed to, causing me to pour more mana into the construct than was necessary to support its existence. Second, in attempting to create something without a solid form, I mis-gauged how much mana I would need to create it. These two factors combined caused me to spend far more mana than was necessary, and created a projectile I could barely control."

Archer nods, satisfied by your answer. "Well, at least you know what you did wrong. That's the first step in knowing what not to do the next time." He walks over to the spot where the target had once been, and Projects another in its place. "Let's just stick to the real thing from now on, okay? Save... Whatever that was, for a desperate last-resort."

This is what I'm talking about. It seemed at the time it was a true projection of Madoka's bow/arrow attack from earlier timelines but powered by Homura's love. Might be too late to use it in the fight against Walispurgisnacht... but Archer DID say it was for a desperate situation?

--[X] Archer: Before Lancer goes to strike, projects Hippolyta's "Goddess of War: War God's Military Sash" for Lancer's use
Okay, since you're clearly drawing from SF now, which is not a source I'm familiar with on account of my inability to find consistent translations, you want to tell me what this does ahead of time so I don't fuck this up too? In fact, that should just be a thing from now on- Tell me how something is supposed to work when you want me to use it, so that instead of being forced to interpret Nasu-ese platitudes I can actually depict it closer to what you're expecting it to be.
-[X] Kyoko: Scorches at the cursed stuff that makes up Walpurgisnacht's familiars, makes sure that they can't reform
Yes, set on fire the stuff that burned down half of Fuyuki. Even if there's only a few puddles of it right now, that's sure to end well.
-[X] Bazett: Protects the other Masters while she prepares to use her Mystic Code Airgetlám
The runes to activate the Claíomh Solais are already on the inside of Bazett's arm, so there's no more prep needed than if she were to activate any of her other runic Mystic Codes. The instant she wants to zap something, all she has to do is point her arm and it gets zapped.

Now I'm not sure if doing so will draw in many more people as you would be working on a sequel of a sequel, but it would certainly make it easier for those of us that are here to participate.
I don't disagree with you, but the reason I tended towards [ ] Wat do?s is because I had less of an idea of the options I wanted to give us the deeper we got. I was also thoroughly caught with my pants down with respect to what we should do in Part 3 because we had already dealt with all the biggest threats and there was nothing left for us to do but meander along until Wally arrived.

If I do decide to do the sequel, I've got a better idea of the things we'll need to do and there will be plenty for us to do, so it should be easier for me to come up with more frequent concrete vote suggestions.

Also... was there a madoka-style bow attack? I can't recall whatsoever
NOW! As to Enetious' question... let me go find it. Give me a minute or two to find the quote.
Yes. It was the day before the big fight with Oriko and Kirika. we were practicing with Archer, and we decided to Project Madoka's bow and try our hand at using it like she did. We poured too much mana into it because we were tapping some pretty strong emotions, and it made an attack bigger than we could sustain. There's nothing wrong with using it now, but do recall how much it takes out of us and how many break bars Wally still has before we can start dealing real HP damage to her. Immediately right now is probably not the time to use it.
I think an earlier message about the lack of direction with the vote is what makes the voting just plain hard. I've done long votes like Enetious has done before for other quests but it seriously requires a LOT of effort each time without having a minimal amount of direction to start with... or at least a suggestion from the QuestMaster.
See what I said to Hyrushoten. I was at a loss for what to have us do because we had taken care of everything that needed to be done and left nothing for us to do in Part 3. If I do the sequel, there will be plenty for us to do, so I'm not too worried about having a more concrete direction to give to you guys.
P.S.S. I'd like to commission fanart, if you don't mind, SVS, of Assassin, Homura, Archer and Amy having breakfast. Let me know if that's cool!
Uh... Sure, I guess. But I don't have any way of accepting or giving you money, and if you're hoping for me to draw it you should know that my drawing skills are pretty abysmal.
