Problem with your theory, then, is that if you were an alter ego of Enetious, wouldn't you have been able to provide me with the Nasu-ese that I've needed at various points?

It adds credibility that I'm a different person :p

Legit though, I've had it on a forum before where people thought someone who showed up at random and was hyper active was one of the admins using a new sock puppet. Less imagination and more previous experience lol

I assumed the turn limit was how long it would take for Walp to adapt, hence ceasing time stop then.

It doesn't really change my (potential) addendums to the plan of stopping za warudo when it becomes a net negative, beyond allowing her to stop time again next turn since her ceasing za warudo would wipe the slate clean of the exponential grief

No, it doesn't. Why would I want to hobble my own performance by telling you to act stupid when I need a piece of information? I gain nothing by doing that, especially when most of the crowd doesn't know either and I have to wait for the one person who does know to come in and get the discussion started again.

Your failed joke has so many holes I could strain my pasta water through it, and the more you try to build it up the more holes you add.

Well, what *does* grant credibility is:
* SV hunts down alter egos, brutally
* I, at least, have an acceptable posting history outside of this thread
* Our posting styles are differently
* Unlike Enetious - or SVS - I have no clue what I'm doing.

Also, oof. Next servant down. Wally, you suck. SVS, good chapter

FUCK I SURVIVED

I'll be writing up feedback and a vote in an hour.

OKAY TIME TO WRITE A VOTE

[X] TURN 19: WALPURGISNACHT - I LIVE, BITCH

--[X] Caster: Mystic Code Beam Spam
--[X] Lancer: Command Seal x1 Elemental Bomb

--[X] Bazett: Light sword
--[X] OG!Lancer: Thrown Gae Bolg + Gáe Bolg: Gouging Piercing Spear of Carnage with Command Seal x2 boost.
-[X] Defense
--[X] Building Destruction: Mami, OG!Lancer and Bazett. If we don't need one of them, switch Mami to attack.
--[X] Barriers: Oriko

-[X] Other
--[X] Kirika: Defense saves with Avalon using time alter
--[X] Homura: Abuse timestop as much as possible. Have Miyuki around to keep an eye on her so she doesn't miss when Timestop turns into net negative.

I don't have anything clever this time; without Saber (who I was really hoping book of wind would help out with), our building defense needs to have a servant or equivalent take over. Given the beam/sword spamming occurring, Bazett is more likely to hit one of our own projectiles than not. OG!Lancer isn't particularly suited for building breakup but its better than nothing.

I'm really hoping that it doesn't go with every turn having two people get hit by the beam. We will run out of servants and lose in short order.

Concerns, suggestions or comments?

Do recall that we're inside UBW. What buildings are there for Wally to throw at us? For the moment, the only thing she can throw at us are more World Destructors.

Run out of servants? It's entirely possible. Lose? That depends less on the circumstances of battle as I present them to you, and more on how you the players react to those circumstances and the choices you make.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm an idiot, let me do some edits.

EDITS HAVE BEEN MADE, including using Gáe Bolg: Gouging Piercing Spear of Carnage like we did for Elsa Maria.

Now that I think about it, shouldn't OG!Lancer have an easy time dodging any World Destructors thanks to Protection from Arrows?

Day 47 Chapter 20
[X] Jefardi

"I am the bone of my sword"
"Steel is my body and fire is my blood"
"I have created over a thousand blades"
"Unknown to Death,"
"Nor known to Life."
"Have withstood pain to create many weapons"
"Yet, those hands will never hold anything"

"So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works."

It's hardly the image of candy canes and lemon drops conjured by the smooth singing voice of Gene Wilder, but for the world of your imagination this desert of infinite swords will have to do. You don't know how long you'll be able to keep it up if those lasers Walpurgisnacht is firing have the same anti-world properties that the big one had, but the hope is that it'll be just enough to turn the tide of battle in favour of Homura's team.

Caster stands beside you, Babylon appearing at his back as the two of you stare up at the massive black gear spinning place above your heads. "Are you ready, Prince of Fakers?" he asks you. "How many swords do you have at your disposal?" Caster's question earns him a smirk.

"All of them."

"Ig-Alima!"

"Sul Sagana!"

In unison, you and Caster bring to bear the massive swords of the goddess Zababa against Walpurgisnacht. Two flaming scythes and two massive swords, each one the size of mountains, crash into the witch, before you and Caster follow up with an endless wave of swords and Mystic Codes. Were there a sun in the endless confines of your Unlimited Blade Works, surely your unyielding wave of swords would have blotted its light out. There isn't, and your swords do nothing to obscure the light which illuminates your Reality Marble from its nonexistent source.

"Lancer, I'm giving you as much power as I can spare!" McRemitz calls out, her fist shining bright with scarlet light. "Take this! Use your Noble Phantasm and hit that wraith with everything you've got!"

Cú Chulainn grins, his body tensing as his master's Command Seals fill him with their absolute power. He crouches, before leaping into the air, deftly grabbing as it soars towards the target one Gáe Bolg out of many being thrown at Walpurgisnacht. "I'll be taking that, Archer!" he calls out, giving you no chance to reply as he throws his spears one after the other, his own attack being joined by the sword of light belonging to his master.

"Gáe Bolg!"

"Claíomh Solais!"

As the four of you all throw your attacks at Walpurgisnacht, you feel the flow of time flicker, the world going grey for imperceptible fractions of a second at a time. Homura is up to something; you're sure of that, and your suspicions are confirmed when Tomoe and Mikuni fire off several blast in near-synchronicity, when before you'd only ever seen them capable of firing one each in tandem.

"Tiro..."

"-fulmine!"

Their attacks are also joined by Sakura, whose massive spear erupts from the ground and joins with the endless waves of swords and spears you've already send flying towards Walpurgisnacht. The witch retaliates, exploding fire and its powerful laser attacks from every crack and crevice in its massive metallic form. Too many of your blade are shattered by Walpurgisnacht, but far too many more arrive at their target for Walpurgisnacht's counterattack to have amounted to anything, and with a tremendous explosion all your attacks find their mark. Smoke obscures your target, only to be scoured away as Walpurgisnacht returns fire with a renewed flurry of lasers. Several burn through the boundary of your Unlimited Blade Works; it appears these smaller blasts also have anti-world properties. In that case, you won't have much longer before the Unlimited Blade Works breaks down again. You'll have to make every sword and every second count.

Fortunately, with Kirika on the ground ready to stick Avalon in-between Walpurgisnacht and whatever the witch is firing on, things down here on the ground are looking at least somewhat safer than they had moments before. You still can't believe that Saber would have died so easily.

"Lancer, I'm giving you the power in this Command Seal!" Mikuni calls out; with so many at her disposal, there's no better time to use them than right now. her back is set alight with glowing crimson as she burns away one of her sins to pay for victory, and you an feel its power passing from her to Lancer. "Keep the pressure on Walpurgisnacht! Don't give it a moment to recover, Lancer!"

"Understood, master," Lancer says, as the silver and blue glow surrounding her body is joined by the crimson of the Command Seal. "I shall be relentless." If Lancer had poured all of her power into her previous elemental bomb attacks, now she poured that much and more into her newest attack. Her body surrounds itself in a hazy shimmer, which soon erupts into a fiery conflagration and blue flames consume her. But for as bad as things are looking for Lancer, things are looking that much worse for Walpurgisnacht; this newest attack is Lancer's strongest one yet, and the resultant explosion when she releases would have leveled at least a kilometer of city.

"Lancer, look out!"

Lancer, so high in the air and so close to Walpurgisnacht, barely has time to react as a laser sweeps towards her. But then, just before the powerful blast is able to engulf Lancer, it is blocked by "Book of Wind!" a torrential gust of wind; originating from somewhere on the ground... Your eyes scan for the source of the surprise attack, and you are greeted by the sight of "Saber?"

The swordswoman, looking to be in pretty rough shape, hobbles forward a few steps as her master addresses her. Her right arm is completely gone, and with it much of her upper chest on the right side, part of her spiritual core including. The telltale blue veins creep up her neck, as what remains of her spiritual core pulses, looking like a beating heart put on display. "Battle Continuation's a pretty neat skill to have, isn't it master?" Saber says weakly, stumbling as she uses her sword to remain upright. "Guess I'm not in too good a shape though, am I? Would have stayed put awhile longer, if I thought I could survive, but..." if Saber still had a right arm, you're sure she would have gestured to the state she was in as she said "Well, see for yourself."

"Just stay put, Saber," Nagatsuki says, fretting over the state of her servant as only an inexperienced master can. "I'll get you some help, I promise." She looks around, calling for "Mikuni!" as her eyes settle on her supposed solution. "Get over here and help Saber out!"

"Don't bother," Saber says. "There's nothing you can do for me like this; and I'm pretty sure Lancer's master is dealing with the same thing you are." Before Nagatsuki has the chance to respond, Saber gestures with her head. Using another Command Seal, Mikuni has recalled Lancer, who isn't looking much better than Saber is. Her body isn't as shredded as Saber is, but there's enough damage, and you can tell that her spiritual core is failing. "I figured Lancer had a better chance of being helpful right now than I did, but I guess I didn't do as good a job protecting her as I'd have hoped. I must have only kind of cushioned the blow of Wallyburger's laser, and not blocked it all the way like I wanted to. Guess I could have done worse with just the one arm."

Saber does her best to stand upright, saying to her master "Hey, Lancer and I aren't going to be long for this world, so I need you and her master to coordinate. Make sure you give us the best deaths possible, okay master?"

More like, "I lived, bitch."

You'll all notice that I never made any comment while everyone else was discussing Saber's death. For a quest where my players have always wanted information, an answer, or an explanation, now you see the power of employing incomplete information.

Well. Rune of Origin time.

...I think I've become numb to any of the characters falling at this point. When Serenity fell, I think I actually teared up. Now Lancer is going to die and I just go "Meh". Probably not a good sign because my caring has dropped significantly.

Looking for suggestions for what Saber should do for her final turn.
